 Anne took a deep breath before she stood and smiled confidently in front of the window where she, could see her reflection through the glass, she's been staring at her reflection for two hours now, she sighed she didn't want to go back to downstairs, but had to or else she wouldn't be able to go to school, she sighed for the nth time, since she came here just yesterday she couldn't remember how many times she sighed, she took another deep breath and walked out of the room, as she sightly adjusted her glasses, her eyes glowing with a smile, yes, just thinking about going to school learning new things, made her temporarily forget about all this unfortunate things that had happened recently, she walked to the dinning room and the scene was just as warm and enviable as last night, but even more pleasant and sweet but all Anne could feel was heartbreak. ' Why does my chest hurt, do I have a disease, or is it that I'm sad I don't have parents either, and watching others with their parents is really suffocating, but I do see people with their parents in the countryside and don't feel this heartbroken' ,she blinked severally to stop her tears from falling, the other noticed Anne's arrival but acted indifferently, she wasn't expecting them even care either, she subconsciously turned her gaze to Lily when no one was paying attention, and , stunned she saw Lily staring at her with a smile she muttered hi, and made gesture but quickly stopped when Emily's gaze turned to Lily before Anne, while Anne quickly averted her gaze from Lily and lowered her head as she quickly finished breakfast.

 "Don't forget to listen attentively in class" Emily nagged

"yes mom!"

 " Don't get into fights okay, leave it to your brother to do the dirty works !"

" remember to eat lunch, if the lunch I packed isn't good, then tell your brother to buy you another one from a good restaurant, okay"

"I know mom, don't worry !"

"yeah, she's right stop being worried about her, she's fine" Caleb interjected.

"I worry because she's my daughter, the astrologer said my dear daughter would suffer a lot in the hand of the ignorant, I don't want anything to happen to her" Emily said with a worry gaze as she stared at Anne with a hateful gaze.

"Nothing would happen I promise "Caleb said worriedly too .

"It's okay, you guys talking strange jokes in front of the children, did ou forget you're parents ! " Grandpa Adams yelled and hen turned to the kids, his eyes didn't even glance at Anne for once "come on kids go to school and break the school down with your record" he smiled and patted Lily's hair, Anne didn't know what to do, she just felt like her heart would break, like it was swollen and hot, she couldn't help but hold her chest, and breathe rapidly, they all entered the car, with all of them chatting, with no intention of joining her in, Anne couldn't help but say "is the school, we're going to far ?" the only response she got was silence but just as she wanted to lower her head "not really, it's close by, the school is amazing, I'm sure you'll have friends easily with that face you have !" Lily said with deep meaning as she smiled, but Anne was too happy to notice that, she smiled at Lily too, and soon after 5 minutes, they arrived at the school, Anne couldn't help but gasp, the school was big and beautiful, with flowers growing around its walls, and a garden surrounded the school with a big field nearby, Anne couldn't help but scan the whole place like a robot, her mouth open wide, her school wasn't this big, she wiped her glasses to be sure and then pulled them and wore them back. "If you don't close your mouth, a fly might enter !" Simon said disgusted and walked ahead, he didn't want to be seen together with her, "it looks like you haven't seen such a school in the countryside have you ?" Raphael asked with mockery, but Anne didn't understand his gaze and just nodded yes, he sneered and walked ahead to while Jacob and Jack walked with them staring at Anne with contempt. "Don't mind them, they could be really nasty sometimes, they even pick at people!" Lily laughed as she hooked arms with Anne, confused Anne asked "why does everyone in your family hate me ?" "I don't know either !" Lily laughed and said "we're in the same class so let's go !,I'll show you my friends !" the thought of seeing new friends made Anne excited.
