 In city A, a city bustling in traffic, and scene of people going about their daily life and journey, sounds of honks and the wonderful shops and beautiful cars and places, this was all new for Anne, she looked outside the window in amazement, she has been living in the countryside for long which was remote and not as beautiful as a city. Caleb seating next to her glanced at her expression and sneered inwardly ' Just a little country bumpkin' . Anne turned to him innocently, she felt like he said something, all through our the journey, Caleb didn't even look at her , neither talked to her, he just acted like an invisible man, with the aura of a king. The word 'indifference was written all over his face, ' so she just turned her head and looked out the window again feeling down. ' I kind of miss grandma now 😞' she sighed inwardly but quickly cheered up again, smiling she gazed outside till the car stopped at a big mansion , she gasped, the house was big and beautiful that Anne couldn't explain, this was the most beautiful house she had ever seen (no exaggeration). Seeing the car enter the gate she was sure this was where the uncle lived and glanced at him again but quickly redrew her gaze.

 The car stopped and they both came down, Caleb turned to the driver saying "give her, her luggage to carry " ,the driver was amazed by his words, she was a visitor and on normal basis, if a visitor came, they would carry the luggage on their behalf, this was simple etiquette, and this little thing was small and fragile how could she carry her things. Anne not feeling anything wrong with that walked towards the driver with a smile, and he quickly gave her, her luggage which was much, why? Course grandma was worried about her, she went out early to buy lots of clothes and snacks for Anne, especially her favorite ones, Caleb showed how displeased he was towards his mother's behavior, but she didn't seem to care, and she even made Caleb promise not to bully or let anything happen to her.

" I won't harm her 😒" he said to grandma, but inwardly he said 'but I'll just ignore everything about her '. He didn't plan on caring about Emilie's daughter, even if she dies, he won't flinch.

 Entering the house, Anne was stunned 😯 by the beautiful interior design of the whole house, she felt she was in wonderland in those films she has watched, she was even amazed at the beautiful lady seating on the expensive sofa, she was beautiful, with brown eyes and black hair, with a beautiful oval face making her look young and below 20, she looked so much like her, that she couldn't help but say "mom!" , the living room was quiet, so her voice was heard by Caleb and Emily who sat on the couch. They were both shocked but Emily expression changed afterwards 'As scheming and cunning as her mother' she sneered and said "do I look like your mother ?" not understanding what Emily meant Anne smiled and said "yes, you do look like my mommy, ..... Are you my mom..." Anne words were interrupted by the sound of Emily breaking a porcelain plate "don't even dare say that !!" Emily roared angrily, shaking like she could kill someone.

Caleb noticed and hurried to her side to console her, "baby, calm down !" , " I told you not to bring her, but you refused, if anything happens to my family Caleb I'll never forgive you, got it" she retorted making Caleb face as black as a button pot, 'it was all this little girl's fault, she was just like her mother' .

Anne was feeling aggrieved as well as sad and confused, 'why did they hate her' if eyes where blades they would've cut her into pieces with that gaze of their, she didn't do anything wrong either. Not knowing what to say she just lowered her head and prepare for whatever this couple wanted to do to her … Sigh.... She really missed home and grandma ! . Seeing Anne still standing there he couldn't help but yell "get out of here, now!! , aunt Li show her, her room" Anne trembled and quickly followed aunt Li to the room prepared for her, Anne was no longer in the mood to view the beautiful scenery of this house and just lowered her head finally they stopped at a door, Anne looked around and saw that this door was different from others, it was a bit dull and not so luxurious, but Anne didn't seem to notice, the aunty opened the door and turned to Anne looking at her coldly "this is your room, you'll stay here from now on" , and Anne nodded, she walked into the room and quickly dropped her luggage, her arm and back were sore from carrying her luggage. Then she got a good look at the room and her eyes widened in disbelieve
