Lord Yan, The Little Ancestor Has Fallen Off The Horse Again!

Chapter 8: Chapter 8: Principal of First Middle School

"Go back and ask about it, and you'll know," Director Li directly refused. "There's nothing I can do." If she didn't have this dark history, I might have accepted her even with slightly worse grades, but with such a record, it's frightening for anyone, let alone dare to take her in.

Lin Xiang still didn't want to give up, but no matter what she said, Li Hongsheng wouldn't agree and suggested she look for a private school instead.

Private schools are not as good as First Middle School!

Yun Yue raised her eyes to Lin Xiang, perhaps feeling sorry for not being able to secure her admission, her face filled with apologies and worries.

Her gaze then shifted to Li Hongsheng, and she walked over slowly, taking out a letter from her bag and placing it in front of him.

"There's no need to show me anymore, you can't get into..." First Middle School.

Li Hongsheng's words choked in his throat as his eyes widened in shock at the letter on the table. Was that the principal's stamp?!

"The person who gave me this letter said I could enter First Middle School with it," Yun Yue's voice carried a hint of chilliness.

"That's impossible!"

"There's no reason for it!"

Li Hongsheng's mind struggled to comprehend; the stamp was indeed the principal's, and the handwriting was the principal's as well, but...

But with Yun Yue's history, which would be troublesome for any school, why would a sensible principal write her a recommendation letter?

His sharp gaze fell on Yun Yue, but he couldn't discern anything.

Could it be fake?

Although he thought so, he unconsciously opened the envelope.

The principal's stamp isn't something that can be easily stolen or forged!

After reading the recommendation letter, he looked at Yun Yue with a complicated gaze. This letter seemed to be genuine, and with it, she could even secure her place in First Middle School despite having been in prison.

Now, he was eighty percent sure that the letter was real, but the remaining twenty percent was still skeptical due to her history. He just couldn't believe the principal would recommend such a person to First Middle School!

"Wait here, I'll make a call to confirm."

Originally, Li Hongsheng had no respect in his heart for a student like Yun Yue, but after reading the letter, his attitude changed, and he dared not take her lightly anymore.

No matter how poor her academics were or how much she fought, if she could have a connection with the principal, that was no simple feat.

He took out his cell phone, dialed with some trepidation, and brought it to his ear with a respectful demeanor.

"Principal, it's like this, there's a student here with a recommendation letter claiming it's from you..."

Li Hongsheng briefly described the situation.

"She's come to First Middle School?"

It might have been his imagination, but he felt the principal on the other end sounded a bit surprised, and even more so, excited.

"So, you're saying this recommendation letter is really from you?" Li Hongsheng wasn't foolish; it seemed the principal had indeed issued one.

"I did give out a recommendation letter, but I still need to confirm if it's indeed hers. For now... let her enroll, place her in senior year class one, and have her come to class tomorrow. I'll be at the school as soon as possible tomorrow..."

As he finished speaking, Li Hongsheng heard the dial tone on his phone.

He was about to speak when the call ended; he thought he heard the principal instructing someone to pack a suitcase, buy plane tickets...

He was shocked; the principal was allowing her to join senior year class one?!

Were his ears damaged?

Was it a hallucination?

Her grades were so poor that she would rank at the bottom even in class seven, and if she couldn't handle the difference in class one and ended up fighting with the students, what then?!

He had intended to ask for more information when the call was disconnected. The more he thought about it, the more he felt he had misheard, and it seemed he'd need to see an ear doctor after work.

Li Hongsheng's eyes held a complex look. It was truly an astonishing turnaround; nobody could have anticipated that such a problematic student would actually possess a recommendation letter from the principal!

He really wondered if the principal's brain had been kicked by a donkey when he wrote that recommendation letter!

"The principal said we still need to confirm your identity, but you can start attending school in the meantime. You'll be in Class 7."

He simply couldn't understand how a problematic student who got into fights could compel the elusive principal to rush over from Beijing overnight.

Yun Yue maintained a composed expression, showing not a hint of joy at being admitted to First Middle School.

"This, this means you agree?" Lin Xiang was somewhat confused. Director Li had been adamant about not admitting her, so why did he agree to let Yueyue enroll after making that phone call?

Although Class 7 was at the bottom, it was still a class at First Middle School. No matter what, being able to attend First Middle School was good.

"I agree, but she needs to keep her temper in check. First Middle School is not like other schools—the students all come from fairly well-off families. It won't be easy to resolve if she hurts anyone."

Li Hongsheng felt a headache coming on just thinking about the contents of Yun Yue's file.

They had placed a ticking time bomb in Class 7!

It could go off at any moment!

Those students in Class 7 were all troublemakers in their own right, each one arrogant because of their family's wealth, paying no heed to anyone else and not taking their classes seriously. It was hard to discipline them, but hopefully, she could control her temper once she's in Class 7!

Lin Xiang quickly nodded and thanked him with a smile, "Director Li, rest assured, Yueyue is just not talkative, but she's kind-hearted. I believe she'll get along very well with her classmates."

She's in just like that?

Lin Xuanze was stunned; it had all been too easy!

After entering Yun Yue's information into the First Middle School student system, the three of them left the director's office, each with different thoughts.

Lin Xuanze had originally planned to show off his new shoes to his classmates, but now he wasn't in the mood.

What he really wanted to know now was what was in that letter Yun Yue held, how Director Li's attitude changed so drastically after reading it, and why a phone call was all it took to get her admitted.

Honestly, when he saw Yun Yue's file, he almost screamed out loud!

Impressive!

He even wanted to give her a thumbs-up on the spot!

"You go to your classroom first; I'm taking Yueyue back home now," said Lin Xiang, standing next to Yun Yue, harboring her own questions.

"I don't want to go, anyway. Classes officially start tomorrow, so there's no difference if I go tomorrow. I'll go back with you guys."

He wanted to know her secret!

Lin Xiang didn't say much else. Since there were no classes today, she simply agreed.

**

Inside the BMW, the atmosphere was somewhat eerie.

Lin Xuanze sat in the front row and caught sight of a pair of brown eyes through the rearview mirror. They looked somewhat disdainful as if she hadn't woken up yet, her gaze cold, proud, and conceited!

Thinking back to the records in the file, a chill ran down his neck. She wouldn't beat him up so badly his head would bleed, would she?

Lin Xiang opened and closed her mouth several times, wanting to speak but uncertain what to say. She too had many questions!

"Yueyue, once you start school, make sure to get along with your classmates. If someone bullies you, tell Auntie. Don't fight back in secret. What if you get hurt...?"

She still firmly believed that Yun Yue couldn't possibly have beaten up those people like that, especially given her slender frame and the fact that she's a girl; she couldn't possibly be that strong!

Yun Yue listened to her rattle on beside her, playing with her phone, head bowed.

Annoying.

Lin Xiang warned with a serious tone, "Lin Xuanze, as her brother, you must protect Yueyue if you see her getting bullied at school, do you hear me?"

Boys should protect girls!

Especially Yueyue, who was so slender, and those Demon Lords of Mayhem in Class 7 were no easy bunch to deal with...
