Chapter 173: Anna's Response
Aldric was not stupid enough not to understand that Sparrow had misunderstood something.
How could he have misunderstood?
Wasn't it obvious that they were only companions from the way he addressed her as Lady Anna, instead of calling her by her name directly?
Given Anna's intelligence, she must have understood all of this.
Surprisingly she responded with a smile, why didn't she get angry and reprimand Sparrow?
Aldric, who initially wanted to tell Sparrow that they were allies, could not help but be distracted by Anna's reaction.
Of course, he would not allow this misunderstanding.
"Old man, what nonsense are you saying?" he said. "Lady Anna and I are associates. You should have prepared two houses for each of us."
Sparrow was instantly surprised to hear that.
Afterward, he even asked, "Master, am I wrong? I thought you and Lady Anna were husband and wife."
Aldric, "..."
His expression changed with various expressions while his breathing became chaotic.
This old man actually did not just misunderstand.
When he was told, he actually spoke his mind.
Was he so stupid?
How could he think of them as husband and wife?
Other than the way he addressed Anna using a respectful word, didn't he see their obvious age difference?
It would be better if he judged that they were the mother and her son, or at least her adopted son.
And Anna, she actually started to chuckle.
This made Aldric scratch his head.
He didn't understand why this woman found this funny.
"Sorry master, I was wrong..." Sparrow apologized before he said anything else.

After that, he called out to one of the tribe's warriors.
"You, ask the men to put the facilities into that new house," he said, pointing at the house behind his own.
It seemed to be a new house as well. Only, it didn't have facilities like mattresses and whatnot yet.
Ordered by Sparrow, the warrior quickly got to work.
Even Sparrow also came to help.
Aldric finally looked at Anna again.
"What's wrong with you, Aldric? Are you afraid to live with me?" she said with a smile that made him almost stagger in surprise.
"La-Lady Anna, why do you say that?" he asked in response with a trembling voice.
"It's not like we're going to live here. When we're not on the move, wouldn't we log out of Magician Online? In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with us staying in the same house." The woman calmly replied.
Her explanation made so much sense that Aldric instantly thought it was true.
Yes, so what if they live in the same house?
It's not like they actually lived in that house.
Online, they are almost always on the move and when they stop being on the move, they will log out.
It was just that, if they lived together, there would be misunderstandings.
"Lady Anna, that's not good. Didn't you see that the old man misunderstood just because we came together? He and others will think it's even stranger if we live in the same house." Aldric still objected.
He thought Anna's opinion could only be done in a place where there were no people around, not in this place where there were many people and neighbors.
He couldn't help but wonder why this woman didn't seem to care about the misunderstanding.
This made him suspicious of her.
"Come on, you should get used to ignoring other people's misunderstandings. That's how city people live," Anna replied.
She had no trouble countering his words with such a reasonable look that Aldric could only roll his eyes while wondering if he looked too much like a villager.
Unfortunately, this kind of misunderstanding was too much for him, especially with a woman like Anna.
He felt unable to say anything else.
"Well, I'll be living in the new house," Anna said as he fell silent.
She then took a step towards the house, giving him a smile that seemed to have a hidden meaning but was very hard to guess.
'I hope she doesn't go crazy,' he thought while scratching his head.
To be honest, he was very afraid of this woman going crazy.
He could ignore the other woman, but he thought it would be hard to ignore her with all her advantages.
Most importantly, ever since they met and became partners, she had always been kind to him which made him feel a sense of comfort towards her.
Of course, there is also the possibility that this is just his misunderstanding of her. Anna might just be giving an honest opinion with her point of view where she is not so with the misunderstanding of others, not that she has any special reason.
Anna actually entered the house right away after the Torgan Tribe prepared the facilities.
No matter how they tried to change identities, Sparrow seemed to be too friendly to his students.
This made the tribe suspicious but unable to think of anything.
After Anna entered the house, Sparrow approached Aldric.
He was still trying to apologize for his misunderstanding.
"By the way, Master... I've been asking some tribe members about resources that can increase your Genesis Core. And they said that there was recently information about such a resource." He said after apologizing.
Aldric was naturally very interested in hearing that.
"Is it for sale?" he asked.
Sparrow shook his head in response.
"It's not for sale, but it's not directly used. It is said that the guy who obtained the resource wanted to give it to his disciple. Only, the disciple has gone on an adventure to a distant place and hasn't returned, so there's an opportunity for us to rob him." Sparrow smiled when he said that.
"That guy is only a 7th Stage Senior Magician just like me. We could even try asking him directly or buying him for a not-so-high price. Maybe he'll give face to my tribe... Only if he refuses, only then do we use harsher means."
"When can we meet him?" asked Aldric.
Actually, it would soon be morning on earth, so he couldn't play any longer, so if they could, then they should meet that person now.
"Whenever you want, Master. It's naturally better to be quicker because there's a chance that the guy's apprentice might arrive early," Sparrow replied.
"Okay, then let's meet that guy now..." Aldric replied.
"What about Lady Anna?" asked Sparrow, looking at the house that was now Anna's residence.
"She wants to rest, it's enough for us," Aldric replied.
For matters like this, he felt no need to involve Anna and he was also a bit awkward meeting her.
Ramsey nodded at his answer.
"Follow me, Master, we'll just walk. Using a flying ark at this time of night tends to startle people too much and we can't use it to that place," he said.
"Okay!" Aldric didn't mind, he followed him although at the same time he wondered why that place couldn't be visited by ark.
He wanted to see for himself, so he didn't ask Sparrow.
They exited the city, then jumped over the river beside the city.
There were many villages around, so it couldn't be said that it was deserted just because they left the city.
In terms of population, the Lordless Territory actually had quite a large number.
It's just that they are less developed in terms of culture and manners.
Most of the people seemed rude.
When entering the villages, Aldric even found that the other tribes seemed rougher than the Torgans even though they were weaker in terms of strength.
Sparrow was not only famous in the Torgan Tribe. He was also famous in the other tribes and they respected him so much that they got quite a few friendly welcomes as they passed through village after village.
"By the way, have you investigated the intruders on a mission from the governor?" Aldric asked Sparrow as they entered a path that cut through a forest.
It was a road that was said to lead to a much more crowded place despite having to pass through the forest first.
Aldric wasn't sure where it was either since he didn't see any major cities around while he was in the air.
"I've given orders to my tribe's intelligence group to find out about them secretly. I believe it won't be long before my tribal intelligence group will find them..." Sparrow replied.
"Good... Let me know immediately if they find them," Aldric said.
"Master, over here!" And suddenly Sparrow stopped and turned to the side where there was a very large tree.
Uniquely the tree had a door as if it were a house.
Aldric became confused when he saw the tree.
"Does that guy live here? Where is the crowded place?" he asked Sparrow.
This was very confusing to him.
Sparrow didn't answer right away, he smiled mysteriously as if he wanted to surprise him.
After that, he opened the door of the tree which actually had a room inside and it was a well-lit room.
To Aldric's surprise, the room had no floor. Underneath was a hole.
"Look, Master!" Sparrow asked him to look inside.
If it weren't for the fact that he was his slave, he would have thought he had bad intentions, but since he was his slave, it became impossible.
He would die first if he had bad plans for him.
Curiously, he looked into the tree.
The hole seemed to be a passage leading underground.
One thing was certain, it was very dark. Aldric had no idea where it ended because he saw nothing. He just felt it was very deep, far beyond his detection.
"Master, we're about to jump," Sparrow said with a faint smile that made it seem like he had evil intentions because of his face.
Of course, he was smiling like that probably because he wanted to surprise him.
