Mahō no Dai-Konran: Yumi no Bōken

Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Kenji and the Jelly Monster

As the group recovered, trying to catch their breath and adapt to the strange new environment, a new danger manifested itself. Yumi, still trying to find a solution to the desperate situation, decided it was time to prepare a magical snack for everyone.

— I don't know about you, but I'm hungry! Let's prepare a magical snack, just to lift your spirits.- said Yumi, with an excited sparkle in her eyes. She began flipping through her spell book, looking for a simple recipe for an enchanted treat.

The idea seemed harmless. However, Yumi's magic was notoriously clumsy, and, as expected, what should have been a delicious snack turned into a gelatinous nightmare.

She pointed her wand at a cauldron and chanted a spell to conjure jelly. However, the spell went wrong, and instead of creating a simple sweet snack, a giant jelly monster emerged from the cauldron with a deafening, gelatinous roar. The monster, a glowing purple mass with bulging eyes and a mouth that seemed to want to devour everything around it, began swallowing everything in its path.

- Oh no! What have I done now? — Yumi said, as the gelatinous monster advanced, swallowing the rocks and trees of the new world.

— Are you serious, Yumi? A jelly monster? — Kenji exclaimed, looking at Yumi. — This monster is a true gelatinous nightmare! We need a plan!

The group quickly realized that the monster was regenerating faster than they could destroy it. Every piece that was torn off or destroyed grew back almost instantly.

As Yumi and her friends ran in circles to avoid being swallowed by the monster, Kenji decided to take the lead. He quickly began to formulate a plan while avoiding the jelly's attacks.

— Guys, we need something that can stop this monster from regenerating. Otherwise, he will end up devouring us!

Sakura, with her enchanted fan in hand, began to prepare an illusion spell to confuse the monster. His ability with illusions could help disorient the creature and give Kenji time to find a solution.

Ryo, using his earth magic strength, attempted to create stone barriers to stop the monster's advance, but he quickly realized that the jelly moved fluidly and passed through the barriers without difficulty.

— It's no use! This jelly is impenetrable!" — shouted Ryo, as he fought to keep the creature at bay.

Kenji looked at the monster and noticed that its jelly was beginning to lose its shape and stability, apparently due to the continued effort of regenerating itself.

— I have an idea! — announced Kenji. — If gelatin regeneration is the problem, then we need to use a spell that can destabilize the entire structure!

He looked at Yumi, who was still trying to hide behind a rock as the jelly advanced.

— Yumi, do you have any spell that can destabilize the structure of the gelatin? Something that can disintegrate the gelatin instead of just cutting it?

Yumi, looking at the spell book in her hands, blinked at Kenji and then smiled with relief.

— Oh! Yes! There is a spell that can turn gelatin into a liquid! — Yumi said, excited. — I just need a little concentration.

She positioned herself to avoid the jelly monster and began chanting magic words. Yumi's wand glowed brightly as she cast the spell. A beam of blue light shot from the tip of the wand and struck the jelly monster, beginning to turn the solid substance into a thick, sticky liquid.

— It's working! — Yumi shouted, smiling as she saw the jelly begin to liquefy.

Meanwhile, Kenji took the moment to give a quick instruction.

—Ryo, Sakura! Let's use wind magic to blow the liquid jelly away! We need to make sure he doesn't regenerate again!

Sakura, understanding the plan, began to cast a wind spell with her fan, creating a powerful gust that pushed the jelly away. Ryo, using his earth magic, created small barriers to contain the liquid and prevent it from spreading further.

With everyone's help, the jelly monster was finally disintegrated and eliminated. The group, exhausted but relieved, looked at the devastated area the monster had left in its path.

— That was insane! — Kenji said, wiping the sweat from his forehead.

Yumi, still trying to process the chaos, approached Kenji with an embarrassed look.

— Sorry about the jelly snack, guys... I promise next time I'll try a less disastrous spell.

Kenji smiled and gave Yumi a friendly pat on the shoulder.

Sakura and Ryo agreed with a smile, and the team began preparing for the next leg of the journey. They needed to find a way to escape this bizarre dimension while at the same time exploring the environment to find clues on how to return.

In the midst of the confusion, a small creature with wings appeared, with a curious look. It was a small bubble of magical light that gently flickered and floated around them.

- What is that?- asked Sakura, observing the bubble of light.

The bubble of light seemed to be trying to communicate something, swaying gently and flashing different colors.

— Maybe it's a guide or an indication of something important. — suggested Ryo, with a thoughtful look.

The group decided to follow the bubble of light, which seemed to be guiding them to a different area of the dimension.
