MARVEL -BLACK SPIDERMAN

Chapter 94: Chapter 94 - It's Over, Peter Knows Everything

Gwen had already suspected what the Green Goblin was planning to do.

This vile creature intended to expose her identity to her closest loved ones, dragging them into this perilous situation. Whether it was her father or Peter, she couldn't let him succeed.

She was preparing to stop him, but the Green Goblin was quicker than she anticipated.

He skillfully maneuvered the glider, dodging Gwen's spider silk as he smirked.

"The first person you're dragging into this cycle, Gwen, is Peter Parker!" the Goblin laughed cruelly.

Suddenly, a phone began to vibrate in the midst of the chaos. The tension in the air was palpable.

The Green Goblin froze, his laughter fading as he stared at Spider-Man, surprised.

The vibration was coming from him.

It was Peter's phone.

In disbelief, the Goblin ended the call, and the vibrating stopped immediately.

It hit him like a thunderclap—Peter Parker was Spider-Man.

The Goblin's thoughts were a whirlwind. How could he have missed this? He should have noticed sooner.

From the moment they met at the mansion, something about Peter had seemed unusual. The Frank Spider-Man incident and the Natural History Museum debacle—he'd been at the center of everything.

Looking back, it all made sense. How had he been so blind?

Meanwhile, Gwen was stunned. She could barely breathe, disbelief flooding her thoughts.

Peter? How could Peter be Spider-Man? Her mind raced. She had admired Spider-Man, followed his heroic acts, and now, the one person she never suspected had been him all along.

Gwen blinked, trying to make sense of the situation. This couldn't be possible, could it? How could Peter keep such a huge secret from her? The man she had been closest to for so long?

Her stomach churned with the absurdity of it all. The hero she admired was the one she had spent countless hours with.

Peter, in a quiet motion, removed his mask, revealing the face that was already so familiar to Gwen—his light brown eyes and the features that never seemed to smile. It was him. It was Peter.

There was no more hiding.

"Peter…" Gwen whispered, her voice trembling.

Peter didn't want to keep his identity a secret from Gwen anymore. He had been trying to figure out how to tell her for so long. But now that the Green Goblin had exposed him, he didn't need to hide any longer.

"Peter, why you?" Gwen asked, a mixture of confusion and betrayal in her voice.

Her thoughts were racing. Could Peter have known that she was Spider-Woman all this time? Peter nodded quietly, "Yes, Gwen. I knew long ago."

Gwen's frustration surged. "Why didn't you tell me? Do you have any idea how dangerous this is?"

Her voice wavered with emotion. She had been kept in the dark about something so important, something that changed everything.

"Why didn't you give me some sort of sign? A hint, an email, anything! I might have figured it out sooner if you had just given me a little push." Her mind was spinning. Could she have been so blind all this time?

Peter tried to calm her down, understanding her feelings all too well. "Gwen, I was trying to protect you. It wasn't about keeping secrets from you."

Gwen shook her head, her mind struggling to comprehend everything.

Peter sighed, continuing, "I knew this would be hard, but the danger was always there. For both of us."

Gwen paused, suddenly realizing how she must have seemed. She had kept her own secrets too, hiding her identity as Spider-Woman from him for so long. She couldn't blame Peter for doing the same thing.

"Yeah, I get it. I'm no better," Gwen muttered, looking down in frustration.

Peter took a step closer, his voice soft but firm. "You're not alone in this, Gwen. We've both been living in the shadows for so long. But we don't have to do it alone anymore."

Gwen felt a weight lifting off her shoulders. The truth was out now, and despite everything, Peter was still the same person she cared about. There was a strange comfort in that.

But she still couldn't shake the anger that had built up inside her. She looked back up at Peter, her emotions raw. "Peter, I'm just scared. I've always been afraid that being a hero would bring harm to the people I love."

Peter nodded solemnly, understanding her fear better than anyone. She was terrified of losing those she cared about because of the dangerous path they had chosen.

As Gwen stood there, lost in her thoughts, she suddenly realized that the Green Goblin was no longer where he had been standing.

"Wait," she said, her voice growing frantic. "Where did he go?"

Peter turned his gaze toward the direction the Goblin had fled, a slight frown crossing his face. "He probably didn't want to stick around and watch our little heart-to-heart."

Gwen immediately sprang into action, her concern for the Goblin's escape outweighing everything else. "We can't let him get away like this. He's caused so much damage already."

Peter reached out, gently stopping her. "Don't worry, Gwen. He won't get far. I know exactly who he is."

Gwen looked at him in confusion. "Who is he? Who's behind that mask?"

Peter's voice was calm but certain as he answered, "Norman Osborn."

The name hit Gwen like a punch to the stomach. Norman Osborn? The man who had created so many problems for them? She had never suspected it would be him, of all people.

For a moment, Gwen stood there, trying to absorb the shocking revelation. "Norman Osborn? Are you sure?"

Peter nodded. "I've known for a while. The pieces fit together, Gwen. He's been hiding in plain sight, pulling the strings behind the scenes."

Gwen's mind was still reeling. She felt a sense of dread settle in her chest. Norman Osborn was a dangerous man, and if he was truly behind the Green Goblin's mask, then they had only scratched the surface of the threat he posed.

Peter, with a renewed sense of purpose, turned toward the direction the Goblin had fled. "We'll deal with him, Gwen. We're stronger together."

Gwen hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "Right. Together."

As the two heroes stood side by side, the weight of their secrets finally lifted, but they both knew that this battle was far from over. The real fight was just beginning.
