Chapter 202: MD-Chapter 201 Tony Joins

I am translating a new novel (Multiverse Conquest Starting from Dragon Ball). Read it and support me.

Arthur and Tony decided to return to the earlier underground warehouse.

At this point, Tony looked uncomfortable and said, "Are you sure you're not talking about some novel plot? This is unbelievable - beings from outer space coming to Earth to wage war on us? Sounds like something out of a cartoon show or a horror novel."

Arthur casually pulled out the spaceship Star-Lord had purchased for him and said: "I want you to study its principles thoroughly. If possible, produce as many related weapons as you can. You are the expert in this field..."

"What is this? A spaceship? Did you really drift through space for three months in it?"

Tony's eyes lit up when he saw the spaceship, and then he said, "But even so, I don't see why I should join your... whatever it is. After all, I still can't..."

Before he could finish, the hatch suddenly opened and a blue, chubby figure struggled to crawl out with all its might, then fell to the ground with a thud.

Upon landing, the figure spun around, and when it saw Arthur, its eyes seemed to burst with rage as the figure roared: "You... you... demon!"

And then it began to wail and sob uncontrollably!

Tony stared in disbelief: "Is this a hired actor? The make-up is certainly special."

He leaned closer and used a tissue to wipe Jeff's face, then looked at his hand. Except for the oil and tears on Jeff's skin, there was nothing else...

Tony, while wiping his hands on Jeff, asked Arthur, "Is this for real? Are you telling me this guy isn't an actor?"

Arthur slapped his forehead and said, "I don't know why, but lately my brain hasn't been working right. When we were in Jotunheim, I let him out and left him on the spaceship. Later, I followed Thor to Asgard using the Bifrost and I completly forgot about him until now... Let me introduce you. This is Jeff, the warden of the maximum security prison named Kyln, and he's from the Xandar Nova Empire.

After a three-second silence, Tony turned to Arthur and said: "I think our organization needs more support in terms of technology!

...

...

Tony was a very practical person.

His practicality was evident in his confidence. He didn't believe in anyone's speculations.

No matter who it was!

There was only one way to convince him: and that was to let the reality speak for itself.

Although Jeff's appearance was an accident due to Arthur's forgetfulness, his timely arrival made Tony instantly believe in Arthur and he began inquiring about other members of the organization.

Arthur kept quiet about it.

But Tony grinned and said, "No need to think about it. Dr. Connors and Banner must have joined by now."

Arthur remained silent.

"Wait a minute..."

Tony looked at Arthur again: "You probably didn't mention Dr. Connors, so the only one who should have joined is Banner, right?"

"People who are too smart don't live long."

Arthur's mouth twitched; indeed, he hadn't mentioned Dr. Connors.

After all, his combat power was embodied in the Lizard, which itself was uncontrollable.

In comparison, he was even less reliable than the Hulk.

Hulk was basically in a state of irrationality, and judging from today's situation, it was only because his mental maturity was lacking.

While Lizard... the guy's nature was twisted.

"How much time do we have?"

Tony didn't know who else was left, so he asked a more practical question.

"Not sure..."

Arthur shook his head, "But it shouldn't be too long."

"I'll start preparing right away." Tony looked at the spaceship, and as for Jeff, he was put away by Arthur. "You won't mind if I take it apart, will you?"

"You could just build me another one," Arthur said.

"That's a good point." Tony thought for a moment and added, "Since we don't have enough pilots, I plan to set up weapon systems using drones. There's no need to dismantle your ship; I'll return it to you after I've fully analyzed it."

"Sure, by the way, do me a favor," Arthur suddenly said.

"Go ahead." Tony was crouched next to the spaceship, examining it closely. "Oh, I almost forgot. I need to set up my lab properly first. This thing can't just be shown off. Help me transport it when it's ready."

"Okay." Arthur quickly jumped in before Tony could make another request, "Prepare a batch of... vintage cars for me."

"Vintage cars?"

Tony looked confused and turned to Arthur, "What do you need them for?"

"Cars, motorcycles, either will do... I only have two requirements: First, they have to be old. Second, they should still run."

Arthur explained.

"... So what are you planning to do? And you don't need just one, but a whole batch?" Tony asked with a curious expression on his face.

"When you first asked, I didn't answer, so you should understand that I don't want to tell you," Arthur rolled his eyes and went to the spaceship and patted it. The ship immediately disappeared. "When you've figured out your lab, I'll give this back to you."

...

...

In just two or three days, with Tony's connections, he had acquired twelve vintage cars for Arthur.

There were only two motorcycles among them.

Tony's lab was already set up and the spaceship had been delivered.

Under the bright sun, Tony, wearing sunglasses, showed Arthur the cars: "These are all carefully preserved gems. Not only do they run, but they perform quite well. I understand that you may have a nostalgic attachment to these old transporters, but if you like, I've also prepared a very nice little sports car out front. I think you'll like it."

Although Tony had clearly misunderstood something, Arthur was still pleased with the cars.

He patted Tony on the shoulder and said, "Well done, nephew. How much did it cost?"

Tony took off his sunglasses and replied, "Do you know what the seller of these cars said to me? One of the car owners told me to cherish it well. It's not just a car; it's even a piece of art, worth a lifetime of preservation! And you're talking about money in the face of such an artwork?"

"Then let's talk about feelings. How's it going with you and Pepper?"

"Goodbye!"

Tony turned to leave, "Remember to lock the door when you leave. I'm off to study your old spaceship."
