Black the car sped along in the sky!
But the speed was still insufficient, after all, it was still just a car.
Although it had the ability to hover and fly, it was still just a very fast car.
The distance to Stark Tower was simply too great so it was impossible to reach it in a short time.
However, as they were on their way, Arthur suddenly remembered something, smacked his forehead, and shouted, "Damn it, Black, stop!"
The car suddenly skidded to a halt in mid-air.
Arthur pulled Banner out of the car, and Banner asked urgently, "What happened? We need to make every second count!"
Arthur slapped the car and pulled out the Pen of Thoth: "Yes, we need to make every second count, so don't disturb me now!"
He quickly drew a teleportation array on the ground and pulled Banner into it, and Banner, feeling fascinated by the magical circle, asked, "What kind of black magic is this?"
"This is definitely not…" Arthur said, "Black magic is something else."
"You actually know how to do it?" Banner was startled!
However, just as he was processing the scene, they suddenly found themselves in…
"A restroom?"
Banner quickly looked around and noticed that this restroom seemed to be missing some elements that a men's restroom should have: "A women's restroom?"
"Stop chatting and hurry up!"
Arthur had already heard the sound of flushing from a restroom stall, and if they didn't leave quickly, they'd end up getting stuck in a women's restroom, which would be quite embarrassing.
Before leaving, Arthur changed into a new outfit and altered his appearance.
"Agent Romanoff?" Banner was dumbfounded again, seeing Arthur's sudden transformation.
Arthur dragged him out, but since he was wearing his own clothes, his pants were a bit long, causing him to step on his pant legs as they went.
Banner looked around, still feeling fascinated by all this and he also found the environment very strange.
Arthur drew a quick sketch on the ground and then entered a women's restroom. What was his plan?
Shouldn't their team be more straightforward? Although they operate in the shadows, they should still be elegant and contribute to human ideals. Why end up in a women's restroom?
This was simply incomprehensible!
Passing agents were puzzled too as they saw Agent Romanoff dressed in men's clothes, hurriedly accompanied by a slightly overweight person.
What was their relationship?
Everyone has a curiosity streak, and this incident later became a strange tale within SHIELD.
Arthur chose this location for teleportation instead of home mainly because it was closer to Stark Tower.
Once outside, Arthur glanced around and said, "I'll go ahead, catch up quickly."
With that, his Raven God Wings spread out, and in a leap, he transformed into a shadow and vanished into the sky.
Banner, who was left behind, was flustered: "Why didn't you leave Black for me? Do I have to run?"
Time was of the essence. If they could destroy Loki's plans before the Tesseract was set up then Loki would undoubtedly lose, and their mission would be accomplished.
As for whether the Chitauri would come or whether Earthlings would see what aliens are really like, it wasn't that important.
After all, the cost of a war was too high, and even Arthur didn't want to escalate the situation to that extent.
Thus, Arthur even left Banner behind to reach the destination faster.
As he flew, Stark Tower came into view, but he suddenly noticed Loki appearing on another building.
"Osborn Tower?"
Arthur's heart sank. Of course!
Why was it necessary to set up the Tesseract on Stark Tower? It was because Stark Tower was so high!
In comparison, Osborn Tower was not any worse. The reason it wasn't featured in the movie was simply because Osborn Tower didn't exist in that movie.
But in this world, Stark Tower was not Loki's only option.
With a thought, Arthur instantly changed direction and headed straight for Osborn Tower.
Loki immediately noticed Arthur and sneered: "You can't stop me!"
As Loki spoke, he pointed his magic staff at Arthur, and a blue beam of light suddenly shot out.
Arthur performed a flip in mid-air and, using two quick Blinks, reached above Osborn Tower. However, his expression suddenly changed.
From a distance, it looked like Loki was standing there, and beside him was Doctor Selvig.
But up close, using the Eye of Horus, Arthur realized that apart from Loki, everything else was an illusion!
He had been tricked!!!
Arthur's anger flared as he shouted: "Damn it!"
Turning to leave, Loki appeared right in front of him: "Where do you think you're going? Stay here!!!"
Loki wielded his magic staff like a club, swinging it at Arthur. Arthur quickly dodged, but just then, he felt a menacing wind from above. Looking up, he saw Loki pursuing him relentlessly: "Don't think you're the only one who can see through tricks. You've used this move too many times!"
Arthur quickly raised his defenses, but Loki's speed was too fast. Arthur hadn't anticipated Loki seeing through his teleportation ability, and with insufficient preparation, he was crushed by the immense force, almost instantly pinned down.
However, compared to his time in Asgard when he first confronted Loki, Arthur's strength had improved significantly.
He managed to regain control of himself halfway down, but Loki had already caught up.
Arthur's face darkened as he flapped his wings, tearing through the air, and the void was almost ripped apart, along with Loki's illusion.
After releasing the Eye of Horus, Loki vanished.
"Damn it, every time we fight, you always manage to perform beyond expectations!"
Arthur's face was grim. His arm injuries were not significant; with the massive amount of Battle Soul enhancing him, his body's strength was incredibly increased. Coupled with the improved Recovery speed, the injuries were now manageable.
He shot up into the sky again and looked back at Stark Tower, where he saw a blue light shooting up into the sky.
"It seems that I was too late!"
Arthur gritted his teeth and flew over. In an instant, he saw someone being thrown out of a window, falling down with a scream.
With a flap of his wings, he soared and caught the person: "Nephew, why are you being so careless?"
Boom!
Something flew towards them from above— a red and gold metallic object that dispersed and disintegrated mid-air. Tony quickly said, "Give me a hand."
Arthur immediately supported him under his arms and lifted him: "Nephew, hold on high!"
