Marvel : Godly Lottery System

Chapter 399: Execute

"However, this also clearly shows that there is a lack of communication between our two major [Omniversal Domains]."

The hundred-meter-tall gray misty figure leaned against the shimmering crystalline surface, its form becoming even more ethereal.

"Otherwise, I wouldn't have mistaken the name."

"Just get to the point—what does your Transcendent Race want?"

A cold glint flashed in the eyes of the [Court of Life], who looked at the misty figure and sternly demanded.

"Very well."

The misty figure's aura rippled gently, and he began to speak in a calm tone:

"Years ago, a princess of our race was inadvertently caught up in the Chaotic Zone's Othertheworld."

"She perished inside it."

"Her body was carried by a temporal bubble into your primary universe."

"At that time, she was already with child."

"Thus, the elders of our race suspect that her orphaned child, protected by her lingering consciousness, descended onto one of the asteroids in your domain."

"Protected descent?"

"The so-called 'protected descent' you speak of involved destroying one of our life-bearing planets?"

The icy glint in the eyes grew sharper. With his omniscience, he naturally knew what the misty figure was referring to.

If Uatu were present, he would have instantly realized that the event he once resisted—at great personal cost—was caused by the corpse of a Transcendent.

The central head of the Living Tribunal fixed its gaze on the misty figure and said in a deep voice:

"Moreover, the individual you refer to—wasn't he the former Transcendent?"

"The crimes he committed here—have yet to be accounted for!"

"No, he was merely a toy prepared by the princess for her child."

"Unexpectedly, upon landing in your domain, he developed a complete personality."

The misty figure grinned and said faintly.

Then, his tone suddenly rose as he spoke loudly:

"The elders of our race have received reliable information that the princess's child from that year may have already grown up."

"And moreover, it is very likely to be..."

"Reliable information? Who provided this so-called reliable information?"

The Living Tribunal interrupted sharply once more, his gaze turning cold and piercing:

"Of course, you wouldn't reveal that, so I'll extract the truth myself!"

Swoosh!

A purple-blue gemstone materialized in the void and affixed itself to the golden chest of the Living Tribunal.

Then, the Living Tribunal extended a hand toward the misty figure, grabbing through the air.

Suddenly, a giant, fully clad in heavenly blue, was seized by the throat with a single hand of the Living Tribunal.

The giant, whose features were identical to those of the misty figure, choked and stammered:

"How... is this possible!"

"To reach across the [Chaotic Zone] and seize my true form through... my void projection!"

Boom!

A golden ray shot from the eyes of one of the side heads of the Living Tribunal, striking the blue giant on the crown of his head.

The moment it made contact, the giant exploded into ash and vanished.

"It was just bait after all—meant to test my reaction?"

Emerging from the swirling ashes, the Living Tribunal gazed coldly into the pitch-black void outside the crystal, and spoke in a frosty tone:

"Very well..."

"A sinful existence must ultimately be repaid with death."

In the endless expanse of the universe.

A blue planet slowly rotated amidst the ink-like darkness of the cosmic canvas.

Above the planet, in the vast expanse of space, three giants, each hundreds of meters tall and clad in dazzling armor, hovered silently.

Reconnaissance satellites orbiting the planet appeared utterly oblivious to their presence, failing to relay any information to the surface.

The booming voices of the giants' conversation also went unrecorded by the satellites:

"That Omega-level mutant—his name was Jaspers, wasn't it?"

"Yes. Full name, Mad Jim Jaspers. I heard he was killed by one of the lifeforms he himself created?"

"That's correct. Without his interference, our upcoming judgment can proceed unhindered."

At this moment, the golden-striped giant, who had remained silent until now, glanced at the other two before calmly saying:

"Let the judgment begin..."

"Understood!"

One of the giants, clad in purple armor, responded, his eyes flickering with streams of green data. He read aloud, word by word:

"Ultimate Universe 1610, Earth-1610."

"Standard Earth calendar: December 21, 2012, 11:55 PM."

"Due to the excessive proliferation of mutants, their reckless misuse of abilities, and disrespect for the divine, coupled with a civilization system that is overly simplistic and an imbalanced distribution of power."

"It is judged to be guilty."

"Requesting extinction judgment!"

After finishing, the green streams in the purple-armored giant's eyes faded. He turned to the golden-striped giant, who was a head taller than him.

The latter replied concisely, "Execute."

The two stepped back in unison, giving space to the third giant, a fiery red behemoth of massive stature.

The red giant's armor suddenly ignited with blazing flames, and in his hand, a towering staff, as tall as himself, began to take shape within his fiery grasp.

Whoosh!

Gripping the staff with both hands, the red giant floated instantly to a position directly above the blue planet.

He raised the glowing, flame-encased staff high, then brought it down with immense force toward the planet's upper atmosphere.

In an instant, the space above the planet fractured like shattered glass, spreading dense and terrifying cracks.

The planet trembled violently as if momentarily losing its gravity, its axis of rotation appearing to tilt slightly.

The protective white cloud layer encasing the planet dispersed abruptly, scattering like smoke. A flood of intense light pierced straight through to the surface.

The blue regions of the planet's surface darkened visibly, the color deepening and spreading rapidly.

In a fleeting moment, this intensified hue enveloped the entire planet.

The fiery staff in the red giant's hands disintegrated into fragments of light and vanished. He then retreated to his original position.

The purple-armored giant extended a hand and lightly pressed against the void.

A green light spread outward, soon forming a spacious holographic projection screen.

The three armored giants gathered around, peering at the scenes playing out on the screen.

On it, countless humans were shown crying and wailing in despair.

Entire floors of high-rise buildings, with people still asleep, were abruptly awakened by the sudden influx of intense sunlight.

Before they could react, they were incinerated into piles of ash.

Others, more alert, instinctively responded to the unnatural sunlight.

One individual, in a moment of desperation, transformed into a block of ice three feet thick. Yet even this failed to withstand half a second before being vaporized by the relentless, scorching rays.
