Chapter 1: Chapter 1 Thor Reborn
An ordinary college student, about to graduate, who had not been severely beaten by society, had not experienced the lightning strikes necessary for time travel, and had not faced the standard betrayal before time travel. During freak accident, he lost consciousness. When he woke up, he found himself in Asgard, attending a banquet.
Originally, this was something to be happy about. He had become his favorite superhero—Thor, the son of Odin, the next king of Asgard.
But Thor, who was familiar with the plot, knew how miserable his future would be.
His mother died, his father died, the three major heroes died, his careless younger brother finally became sensible and died again, and his older sister almost killed him.
The girlfriend is gone, the hammer is gone, the eyes are gone, the hair is gone, the figure is gone, Asgard is gone, and after finally becoming the strongest Avenger, he was immediately defeated by Captain Marvel ...
When his father was in power, Asgard was a paradise envied by the whole universe. However, by the time it came under his rule, the foundation had shrunk by 90%, and God's Domain became a village. The people of Asgard had really hit rock bottom.
Thinking of this, Thor couldn't help but burst into tears. His selection of time-traveling person had been so misearable. It would have been better to become Iron Man.
Fortunately, it was still early in the timeline. Odin and the Ancient One were both present, and although Thanos was confident, he wouldn't come to fight two. According to the Earth timeline, it was now 1995, just before Captain Marvel started.
[Ding! congratulations to the host for successfully traversing! The superhero system has been bound! When the host comes into contact with an important hero or villain, or anything that may affect them, there is a chance to trigger a task related to the target. Completing the task will rewards the host."
"Each target can trigger the task only once. "]
The sudden reminder made Thor tremble. What the hell? A system? He immediately stood up excitedly, but then remembered that he was in public and quickly sat back down.
Loki, who sat next to him, noticed his brother's strange behavior. Thor had just been frowning but suddenly changed to a mean smile. Loki knew his brother was a joke, so he rolled his eyes but said nothing.
Thor calmed himself and looked at the system panel in front of him.
[Hey, congratulations! You've triggered Thor-related tasks:
Elegy of the Strongest—As one of the strongest Avengers, every time Thor becomes stronger, it is accompanied by immense pain. Please choose one of the following tasks to complete, and rewards will be given upon completion!]
Task 1: Increase the weight to four hundred catties.
Task reward: The strength of Thor in his fat form. (As the strongest although some aspects are unsatisfactory, he has the strength to fight Thanos.)
Task 2: Challenge Thanos and kill Loki.
Task reward: Stormbreaker. (The strongest artifact in the Marvel universe, invincible, capable of suppressing the power of Infinite Gems, and strong enough to kill Thanos.)
Task 3: Destroy Mjolnir and sacrifice an eye.
Task reward: Awakening ability—Thunder Control. (Completely control the power of thunder within your body, no longer relying on Mjolnir. The hammer only helps focus your power; it is not the source of it. After losing Mjolnir, you will awaken your true power.)
Thor looked at the task list, his mouth twitching.
Mjolnir could not be lost. If it was destroyed, Odin would definitely smash his skull, not to mention losing an eye...
Although Stormbreaker was tempting, it turned out that with just a weapon, facing Thanos head-on was like offering a gift. Besides, even though Loki was troublesome, he was still family after all these years.
So, the only option left was Task 1.
Fortunately, compared to the other two options, this one was reversible. After all, if he gained weight, he could always lose it. At worst, he would be on diet for a few more years in the future...
Thor made up his mind.
"I choose Task 1: Increase my weight to four hundred catties."
