Chapter 17: The downfall of Fredbear
May 25, 1988
In the night, at the soon hours of the night, some silhouettes moved around the darkness of the night. Their clothes are as dark as the night, and they were diverse cosmetics that hide their face, hands, neck, and every part of their body, but they also have a backpack each.
Slowly, they approach Fredbear's PizzaWorld, but for their surprise, they see how a police agent is talking to Michael Afton, and aside of them, a police van, from where handcuffed criminals are going out from, and walking towards the entrance of the pizzeria, and entering inside.
The silhouettes came with a mission, but see this was unexpected for them, so they start recording the situation. After a moment, they end recording, and wait for the police to leave, and then, Michael goes inside the pizzeria. Whatever was going on, the silhouettes weren't aware, but neither couldn't care to find out.
Slowly, they entered inside the pizzeria, stealthy and without anyone noticing. As they entered and moved through the shadows, evading all spots as possible and worrying for the cameras, they follow Michael, until Michael closes the door behind him. They can't go further, as they hear in the other side the criminals, but then, there are only screams full of pain for a moment.
They quickly with nerves, try to record the screams, but because the nerves, they only reach to record a part. They decide to do what they came to do, and then leave, and so, is what they did. They placed some things around the pizzeria, and quickly left as same as how they entered.
Once outside, they press a button, and in a sudden, all the pizzeria blows up. What they placed, was C4. And now the entire pizzeria was debris and fire.
Once their mission be a success, both decided to leave, and quick, before the police could be near.
Meanwhile, inside the rests of the pizzeria, still falling apart, but mostly debris, a golden hand suddenly goes out of the debris.
Slowly, SpringBonnie, very damaged, and bleeding, as almost himself entirely was shattered and dismantled, with half mouth almost dropping, a lot of injuries and deep injuries around arms and legs, big holes in torso, and half broken ears; got out of the debris with slight difficulty.
The explosions were all at the same time, and pushed every wall along the ceiling together. SpringBonnie couldn't anticipate everything, nor stop all at the same time, along trying to remain in position from the radius of the explosions, and found himself almost instantly overwhelmed, and unable to cover or protect neither Michael Afton, neither Puppet.
He looked around, and saw everything in ruins, and just debris remaining. He tried to lift debris around him, in search of any of both, and found Michael, almost completely smashed and in the border of death. After taking Michael out as how he could, he went back in search of Puppet, but as he searched, he slowly started hearing a music box. After starting to hear this, something deep of him was telling him the truth, one that he was refusing to believe.
As he kept searching, the music was sounding higher and higher, until he found a shattered and broken mask, and from it, the music was sounding. He slowly grabbed the mask, before his right arm stopped working and couldn't move it anymore.
As he tried to put the pieces of the mask together, a sudden hand came out of the debris, near his left hand and the mask. The right hand of Puppet moved to be on top of the mask, and before falling down, it give a white glow to the mask. Whatever Puppet did, was the last thing before falling.
SpringBonnie saw how Puppet's right hand suddenly fall down to the ground after giving a white glow to the mask. He followed the arm, but the rest was covered in debris at his left. He tried to lift the debris, but slowly was getting weaker and weaker.
After high effort, he managed to lift and move slightly away the debris, and found Puppet almost completely broken and shattered, was completely dismantled. SpringBonnie kneed against Puppet, giving her a last hug, before falling back, and looking at the mask on the ground.
With insane effort, he tried to move his right hand, and his right arm was barely aside of the mask for his luck, but he couldn't move his right arm, so he tried moving his right hand.
After a moment, he kept pushing, trying harder. His fingers slowly dying, almost barely moving, and his right hand not responding, but that effort, filled with the Agony, and from his soul, a spring of Remnant, acted like a magnet, calling the mask.
Slowly, the mask moved very slowly towards him. He though was to his right hand, but in a sudden, the mask floated, and instantly reached his face, pushing him like a hard strong punch, almost knocking him.
Before falling unconscious, he felt his soul starting to be overwhelmed, as his body burning, and slowly losing control of himself and his body.
After a moment, the van of the police department stops in front of where the pizzeria was, wondering if any of the criminals inside generated an explosion, or if was in a gang that did this, or anything else. So many possibilities, so many question, but not a clear answer for truth.
All the criminals are gone dead under the debris, Fredbear is completely destroyed and dismantled, Puppet is almost completely destroyed and almost completely dismantled, Michael Afton is in the border of death and almost barely alive, SpringBonnie is barely alive and almost dismantled.
There aren't any possible reports of what happened, neither proofs of what could generate this. Very quickly, the news all full of what happened to the local pizzeria, where not only the environment was lovely, but the pizzas were the best in their category, and all the pizzeria was set up for the best entertainment for the children, while also giving the security to the parents that their children were safe.
Evelyn wonders what happened, maybe a terrorist attack? Maybe a sabotage? Maybe after the deep check they had to create a camouflage? Maybe Michael planned everything to destroy all proofs that could exist?
In other part, Fazbear Entertainment was still busy with it's problems, but Stephen was celebrating their revenge.
As the time passed. Minutes, then hours, the reporters were crazy loving this new they could live and then repeat for other days. So many lies, so many options to choose, and all was just as tell, and everyone would take.
The police didn't knew what to do, they couldn't even hold so many reporters at the same time, and so persistent for the new. After some tries, one of the official superiors of the police department, finally reached Henry Emily, who was asleep.
Henry usually has deep sleeps, so it was complicated to reach him for that. After waking up with a jump from a nightmare, he went to pick up the phone, dizzy and slightly disoriented.
After being told, Henry went to the pizzeria, where after quite a while, he finally reach, and couldn't believe what he was seeing.
Michael was taken to the hospital quite the time ago, but no one dared to touch anything else.
Henry slowly moved closer to the remaining of the pizzeria, and to SpringBonnie still hugging Puppet with his left hand, or at least, what remains.
Despite who is assigned to protect her, is an impossible task... First, when Charlotte Emily was murdered by William Afton outside Fredbear's Family Diner, with Puppet unable to protect her. And now SpringBonnie unable to either do so, even Charlie was now dead and possessing Puppet. The task was simple, but destiny was the same, protector suffering the consequences of the way to accomplish the objective and end almost dismantled, and Charlie died.
