Chapter 111: Twice
Aizawa Shouta found himself grappling with the burden of frequent business trips. Each time he left, he was filled with a mix of regret and determination to help his students grow in his absence. They're on the cusp of becoming professional heroes, and he felt the weight of ensuring they were adequately prepared for the challenges that lay ahead.
This time, instead of leaving Class 1-A under the supervision of one of his colleagues, Aizawa came up with a rather unorthodox solution. He had stumbled upon the remaining members of the League of Villains during one of his late-night runs, and an unexpected idea flickered to life. Perhaps these so-called 'villains' could provide his students with an intense training experience, forcing them to think on their feet in the face of unpredictability.
After a brief yet intense negotiation with Principal Nezu, who was both amused and intrigued by the idea, it was agreed upon. Aizawa had a strong feeling that Chaos would ensue, but that was part of the learning experience, wasn't it? So, he set off for his business trip, leaving his students in the capable yet chaotic hands of the League of Villains.
The first day came, and Twice, with his chaotic personality and clumsy enthusiasm, was assigned the job of overseeing Class 1-A. Bright-eyed and eager to impress, he strutted into the classroom and was greeted by a room full of eager students, all awaiting the 'villainous' lesson of the day.
"Alright, Class 1-A! Are you ready for some... uh, villainous training?" Twice exclaimed, adjusting his mask nervously.
The response was a mix of excitement and skepticism. Bakugo, always quick to voice his opinion, scowled. "Hah! Like you could teach us anything valuable! You're just a joke!"
"Shut up, Explosion Nerd!" shouted Toga in defense of Twice, but it was too late. Bakugo was already pacing around the room, plotting ways to make Twice's life miserable.
The first class started off reasonably well. Twice explained the importance of adaptability in the face of chaos, something he knew a thing or two about. However, when he decided to turn the classroom into a mock 'villain hideout' for a training exercise, it all began to spiral out of control.
As students paired up to test their skills, Twice's attempts at orchestrating the chaos led to even more confusion. Toga decided to demonstrate her 'quirk' by throwing fake blood around, while Shigaraki, who had been observing quietly, suggested that they "enhance the chaos." Before long, it was a battle of glitter explosion vs. fake blood thrown by an energetic Toga.
Things escalated quickly. Twice, in an attempt to regain control, accidentally slipped on a pile of scattered glitter, directly into a wall of toilet paper strung across the room. The paper cascaded down, and in his flailing attempts to regain balance, he pulled the wall down with him, creating an avalanche of toilet paper that engulfed the room.
The remaining students erupted in laughter as Twice struggled to free himself from the mountain of soft paper. Bakugo stood off to the side, arms crossed, cackling with glee while taking notes on all the "epic" failure moments—by the end, he had compiled a total of twenty-one nicknames for Twice, each more ludicrous than the last: "TP-Twice," "Glitter Goo," "Villain Showstopper," and "The Canceled Cancellation," among others.
As the week continued, the chaos only intensified. Twice became accustomed to the antics of his new "students," from their wild guesses on 'villainous strategies' to impromptu scavenger hunts that ended with half the classroom furniture outside and the other half being repurposed into a giant fort. Each day brought new disasters that left Twice increasingly exasperated but somehow entertained.
The rest of the League of Villains, watching from the sidelines, couldn't hold back their laughter as They witnessed Twice transform into an unwitting source of entertainment for Class 1-A. Even Shigaraki found himself chuckling at the absurdity of the situation, emerging from his usual stoicism at the comic relief.
Finally, at the end of the week, Aizawa returned to the classroom, met with the sight of Twice, completely wrapped in toilet paper—his mask barely peeking out—while his students burst into laughter, recounting all the hilarious nicknames Bakugo had given him.
"Welcome back, Aizawa," Bakugo sneered, "You missed a lot. I think we should give him a real hero license for being the biggest clown!"
Aizawa could only sigh, a slight smile creeping onto his lips despite his usual stoic demeanor. His students had survived the week of 'villainous training' and, in many ways, learned more than he could have imagined. Maybe, just maybe, this chaotic method could work after all.
"Class dismissed," he murmured, fully expecting more chaos to unfold as he made his way to the front, where Twice was already dramatically lamenting his fate. The laughter continued to echo in the classroom, a sound Aizawa found remarkably fulfilling.
