Chapter Fourteen:

Past…

Siara Meinir was standing alone at the gazebo and I silently approached her. For a moment, I stare at her angelic face and I will never get tired of her, never.

"For how long are you going to stare at me?" she asked me without even looking at me.

A smile formed from my lips. "I just wanted to stare at you for as long as I'm satisfied."

"But you'll never be satisfied no matter how long you stare at me, right?"

"Never! Because I love looking at you and I will never get tired of staring at you." I sincerely answered that made her smile as she finally turned around to see me.

"How can I not love you more, Mr. Haimon Del Gazini?"

I slowly walk towards and her hold her hands gently. "I love you more than you love me, Siara Meinir. And no matter how long we live, I will always love you and make you love more." I sincerely answered before I kiss her.

Present…

"We're here."

Maury announced after we've reached our destination, the ADS Flower Shop, though I felt that there was someone guarding the shop.

"Let's go for another turn." I spoke.

"Why?"

"I could sense that someone guarding Lady Shu Tokino." I answered. "And I need some time to hide my senses so that whoever guarding her won't notice me."

"Alright, I'll do as what you said." Maury answered and drive out the car around the area while I take my time to hide my senses.

After turning three times, I ordered Maury to stop not too closer at the shop and decided to walk while I silently study the whole place.

So, he sent his right hand to guard his wife. Interesting! And I think I won't go for sending another flowers to him, much better if I send something more than interesting than just a flower.

ADS Flower Shop

"Welcome back Mr. Reinhardt!" a lady quickly approaches me as I came in the shop and she was the first one that entertains me before. "What can I do for you?"

"I'm here for Mrs. Del Gazini."

"Oh, okay! Wait for a while I'll inform her."

"Thank you."

I look around while I wait and I felt another presence coming from the direction the woman I was talking to went. I can sense it though not that strong and eventually it faded afterwards. Whoever it was, I think I've got some clue of who that person is.

"Mr. Reinhardt." I finally heard Shu Tokino's voice and I normally smiles at her as I look back to her.

Del Gazini Corporation

"Naya," the personal assistant of Haimon, she quickly stands up from where she was sitting.

"Yes, Sir Sage."

"Is Haimon inside?"

"Yes, he is."

"Thanks." I said but before I enter his room I already sense something was wrong. "Naya."

"Yes, Sir?"

"You may leave earlier today."

"Sir?"

"Don't worry, I will tell Haimon that I send you home earlier today." I said as I saw from her face the doubt of leaving earlier. "Go! We need to talk something important and it will take us an hour before we finish. And you know how much I hate intruders when I'm in the middle of an important meeting, right?"

"Yes, Sir Sage! I'll leave now." she finally agreed that only took a minute before she finally left and silently went to Haimon's office.

Haimon's Office

"Then why he was here? At the ADS Flower Shop…"

After I heard what Dealla said over the phone, it took me a minute before I answered. "I'll meet you after." I just said before I hang up on her.

I quickly dialed Redmond's phone, after three rings he answered.

"Yes, Sir?"

"Is he there?"

"Yes."

I took a deep breath before I answered. "How about my wife?"

"She's with him right now. And it seems he will order another bunch of flowers to send to you."

He is that persistent? But… no! He doesn't know it yet. And I will not allow him to know it. "Protect my wife no matter what." I ordered.

"Yes, I will Sir." He answered before I cut off my call.

"What did I tell you…" I heard my mentor's voice and he was standing at the front door of my office.

"What took you here?"

"Nothing." He plainly answered. "But I sense that you're anxious and I know who made you feel like that."

"He was trying to use my wife as bait."

"He will never stop until he found the reincarnated body of Siara."

"He will not. I will do anything to make him stop."

"But for how long?"

I don't know… I wanted to answer but I stop myself since it won't help if I say it. Then I heard him sighs.

"Flowers won't last forever, the scents that covering her will soon be defeated from her strong scent. And no matter how much you tried to hide her, soon enough, they will find her." He said before he goes.

I sit back to my chair and take a moment to think. What shall I do? I silently asked myself while looking through our wedding picture at my table. And silently added, I waited for you for one hundred years and now I still cannot protect you. So, what now Siara?

To protect you, you have to die once again.

Meanwhile…

After Haimon hang up on me I quickly look around to find if he already sent someone to guard his wife. And I found him, it was Redmond and he was on his phone.

I quickly come closer to him and waited till he finishes talking over the phone.

"You didn't sense his presence, right?" I quickly asked after I came out on his side.

He deeply sighed. "Yes, you're right."

"He sensed you first that is why he made that precaution. So next time, beware, he can do that again."

"Yes, I will."
