Chapter Seventeen:

I quickly run as I heard the news and with a bang, I forcibly open the door.

"Haimon!"

I go to her side and hold her. "Why did you do that, Siara?"

"Haimon," it was Norward. "Let her--"

"No!" I cut him off and intently look at Siara. "Please, don't do it. I beg you, my Love."

Siara sighs before she smiles at me. "Love, I have to. It is for your own sake."

"No! It isn't!" I exclaimed and knowing her, I knew she already decided even though I don't want her to sacrifice herself for me, she will gladly to do it.

"Love, listen." She said and holds my hands. "No matter what happens, I promise you I'll be back to your side."

"No! Siara, we can think of something else, and besides I'll be fine so you don't have to do th--"

"No," she said cutting me off. "Just do it. I beg you. This is the only way to save you."

Present…

"Well, I canceled everything just to see you." He spoke.

What?! That's new, how come he canceled all his works just to see me? What was he thinking?

"Are you really sure? I mean, you can see me after my work and--"

"That won't be enough." He said with a sweet smile from his face and it made my heart beats fast.

"Fi-fine." I said and take a deep breath. "Anyway, I will finish this of then we can go home afterwards."

"Don't bother I can wait for you while I go around your shop."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. So, please continue you're doing and I'll be fine promise."

It took a minute before I agree. "Okay. Help yourself." I said that he just nodded before leaving me alone.

"Shuki," it was Alena.

"Yes?"

"What Haimon doing here?"

"He wanted to see me."

"What? Really? That's new."

I agree that's what I had thought. "Yeah," I answered.

"Is he willing to wait till our shop closes?"

"Yes."

"How about his job?"

"He canceled it already." I answered as I shrug.

"But--"

"Alena," I cut her off. "Can you go back to your work now?"

"Oh, okay! It just that I'm curious that is why I'm asking."

"And do you think I am not?"

"Well," she pauses then shrugs. "Alright, I need to go back now." She said and leaves me alone.

I sighs as I am left alone, then I remember the favor that Kanik Reinhardt asks me to tell my husband. I stop for a while to look for my husband who's looking around our shop and it seems he notice my stare because he meets my eyes and smiles at me.

Oh, that smile, no wonder I fall in love with him and I'm falling for him more deeply.

ADS Flower Shop

From afar…

"Are you leaving already?"

Redmond stops when I suddenly come out of nowhere. "I thought you came back at the shop?"

"I was about to but then I remember something else." I answered. "But it seems you were heading somewhere."

"Yes, I am."

"To where?"

"Haimon asked me a favor."

"What kind of favor?"

"To spy Kanik."

I think of it and I think Haimon did the right thing. "Okay, I won't bother you any longer." I said and was about to leave when he stops me.

"Wait!" he said. "What about the thing that you remember? Isn't it important?"

I sighed. "Well, I don't know if this is the right time but…" I paused and weigh if I tell him or not but I choose latter. "Not for now. So, go and take care." I said and left him.

ADS Flower Shop

Inside…

I quickly came back and saw Haimon going around the shop while Shu Tokino was busy arranging the flowers.

"Alena!"

"Oh, God! You surprised me!" she madly said.

"Oh, sorry!" I said as I raised my two fingers for a sign of peace.

"Alright," she exclaimed. "Anyway, where have you been?"

"There. At the outside."

"I went there and I didn't see you."

"Ah, that is because after talking to my phone I went to check on my account. Just to make sure that the salary I just received was there." I lied.

"Really?" she asked with a doubt.

"Oh, come on! That's true! Anyway, what was Haimon doing here?" I quickly changed our topic.

"You were surprised too, right?" I just nodded. "Well, he was here to fetch his wife."

"Really?"

"Yeah! And you wouldn't believe what I just heard from Shuki."

"What?"

"Haimon canceled his work just to be with her! Isn't it romantic?" Alena excitedly commented.

If you only she knew the real reason why Haimon chooses to be here as soon as possible, I silently said to myself. "Well, that's called love."

"Okay! Since you weren't here for six months then, this will be your first day."

"Yeah! Yeah! I know! So go now!" I said and pushed her away.

After I was left alone, I look back at Shu Tokino. What if Kanik already possesses the Oasis? Will the past be repeated?

From afar…

I keep looking at the ADS Shop and seeing Haimon being there with his wife, I am more interested to mess up with him.
