Chapter 34: I Finally Decided
Chapter Thirty-Four:
"You need to finish Haimon as soon as possible. That way, we can prevent them to know the truth."
"And what is that truth, Father." I suddenly barge in to my father's room as soon as I heard them talking.
"Siara!" my father quickly comes to my side and push me in to his room before checking the outside and soon it was clear he came back to face me. "Damon leave us."
"Yes, my Sire."
"What are you doing here?" he asked me after we were left alone.
"What truth are you trying to hide that you need to kill Haimon?" I horrifically asked him.
"You don't need to know!" he firmly stated. "And from now on, you are not allowed to come out without anyone by your side!"
"Is that an order?"
"Yes! And as your King, I command you to stay right where you are!"
I couldn't believe him, why would he need to do that and, oh no! Don't tell me, "Is it about my blood?" I stated it clearly and the looks of my father's face tell it all. "So, it really is!"
He suddenly grabs my shoulders and looks at me straight in the eye. "What did you just say?!"
"I already knew about it, Father. That my blood is the only cure of this curse that we all had, the curse that will free everyone souls of Manu Vampires."
My father looks at me terrified. "No! How did you find out about that thing?! Who told you about it?! Tell me!"
"No one." I honestly replied. "I just learned it by myself when I accidentally cut myself and when my blood drops on the floor, Haimon smells it…" and he even taste it. I silently added to myself.
"What!"
"Ahh!" I was hurt when he suddenly grip my shoulders so tight. "Father!"
"You let him taste your blood!"
"No!"
"Yes, you do! I could sense it even if you hide it, he already tasted it and the more he needs to be killed!"
"No!"
"You couldn't do anything to stop me! Now! I'll lock you up to your room!"
"Nooo!" I try to run but he's too strong I couldn't escape out from his grip and I suddenly found myself lock to my room for only a second. "Father! Let me out!" I cried out but he didn't listen until I heard Wei's voice. "Wei! Help me!"
"My Lady," Wei answered.
"Wei, help me out! Please!" I begged.
"I'm so sorry, my Lady. But I couldn't do anything. I'm so sorry."
"Wei, from now on, you are not allowed to come near my daughter. Ever again!" I heard my father said. "And you two guard this place and don't let anyone to come closer to this door, understood?!"
"Yes, my King!"
"No! Father!" I cried out but he didn't listen and just let me lock inside my room. Oh, no! Haimon! I try to check the window but the widows were already been sealed by the Witches and I couldn't do anything to open it.
Ah, darn it! What should I do now! What!
Present…
"Don't." he replied as he walks back and sits opposite to me. "He won't tell you right?" I silently nodded as my tears starts to build up. "Then, you should trust us now, Shu. That's the only way to find out the whole truth."
I look down as I weigh my decision, will I trust him or not. I don't know, because I still want to know the truth from the man that I love and trust and that is Haimon. Though, in this state, I don't really think he would tell the whole truth.
'I'm really sorry.'
Haimon's words keep echoing through my mind and I couldn't take it off no matter what I think to justify his words. I still end up wanting to know the whole truth and if he couldn't provide it then, maybe. I should try to trust it to someone that is ready to tell me the whole truth.
"I…" I look up to him. "I already agree with what you want to do. I will trust you to tell me the whole truth." I determined to answer him.
Kanik smile at me. "Alright! Let's go!" he stands up and gave his hand in front of me.
At first, I hesitate to take his hands but then I already decided I will know the truth no matter what method he was planning to do. I hold his hand and leave that place with hopes that everything will soon be clear.
Del Gazini's Residence
"What are you still doing here?!" Dealla suddenly barge in to our house and I already knew why she's here. "What! Are you still not going to your wife?! Gosh! Don't you know how much you hurt her with what you do?!" she madly stated and I already knew it but I couldn't just let her know the whole truth mostly about Siara. "Haimon!"
"What…" I lazily replied.
"Oh!" she takes a deep breath and brushes her hair with her hand. "I don't know why you don't let her know the truth! Haimon, you know how cunning Kanik is and I'm sure that he already making a plan to pursue Shuki just to bring back her memories. And when it's time for him to start, there's nothing you can do to stop him. So, before he does. You should at least be the first one to tell her the whole truth."
I look up to her. "But I promise."
"Damn that promise! It won't help you to protect Shuki." She madly replied. "And if you truly love and care Siara, then… decide now before it is too late." She ended before leaving me.
Dealla was right, I can no longer hold to that promise I made to Siara before she died. It will only put Shu Tokino in much danger if I stay quiet. I need to tell her before Kanik do something that I'll regret in the end.
