Mobuseka:Leon's Adventure

Chapter 21: Another One(2)

Hearing this, Luxion slightly tilted his metallic body, as if contemplating the situation.

"Do you know one? And where is it?"

"It's in the elf village," the second replied, his voice calm but carrying a note of enthusiasm. "Let's go to my room. I have a notebook there where I record everything important that might come in handy in the future. While I might've forgotten some minor details, I definitely wrote down the coordinates of the elf village."

The first narrowed his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest as suspicion crept into his tone.

"When did you manage to do that? And why on earth would you even bother finding their exact location? We've been here the whole time, and as far as I know, neither the novel nor the manga ever mentioned the coordinates of their village."

The second shrugged casually, as though this was the most natural thing in the world.

"Well, one day while you were asleep, I decided to use the time to dig up some information about elves. After spending the entire day in the library going through old maps and records, I finally found a map of the kingdom. It marked the exact location of their village. So, of course, I wrote the coordinates down in my notebook."

The first squinted, his brows furrowing even deeper. His voice grew sharper:

"And why, exactly, did you need that information?"

His gaze bore into the second like a blade. The second hesitated, his grin faltering under the pressure. After a moment of silence, he sighed, realizing he couldn't dodge the question.

"Fine, you got me. I just wanted to see the elf girls. In my world, there are no elves—only humans." He threw up his hands as if surrendering, his voice laced with honesty.

"You wanted to see them?" The first's voice was cold, almost accusatory, as his piercing gaze locked onto the second. "And you planned to do this without me? Are you serious? Just so you know, I've never seen elves either. Of course, I'd be interested too!"

Hearing this, the second's expression shifted into one of pure relief and excitement, as though he had just rediscovered a kindred spirit in the first.

Luxion, who had been silently observing the entire exchange, finally spoke in his usual monotone:

"Master, I have found no data in my archives about elves. Who are they?"

The first turned to face him, hands casually placed behind his head.

"Oh, they're a race that looks almost like humans. The main difference is that they have huge, sharp ears. They live a few hundred years longer than us, magic loves them, and, to top it off, they're naturally beautiful. So beautiful, in fact, that they're highly sought after as slaves."

Luxion processed the information in silence before responding flatly:

"Interesting. Does the second master know anything else about them or similar races?"

The first stroked his chin thoughtfully before answering:

"Well, there are beastfolk too, but let's talk about them later. As for the elves, we'll find out more once we reach their village. Your curiosity will be satisfied then."

He closed his notebook with a decisive snap and began walking toward the exit with firm, purposeful strides.

"Sister?" Luxion questioned, hovering beside him. "An AI does not have sisters."

"That's what you think," the first replied with a sly grin, clearly enjoying the cryptic nature of his response.

Shortly after, they boarded their airship. Luxion, ever-efficient, immediately calculated the optimal route to the village and set course.

The elf village was far away—normally, a regular airship would take at least two weeks to reach it. But thanks to Luxion's advanced technology and incredible speed, they would cover the distance in just a single day.

During their journey, they encountered a massive pirate fleet. The pirates, numbering over five hundred men and commanding several dozen ships, appeared to block their path. Without hesitation, Luxion opened fire. With just two precise shots, he disabled half their ships.

Seeing the devastating power of Luxion, the remaining pirates quickly raised white flags in surrender.

"It would be more logical to eliminate all the pirates," Luxion stated in his usual emotionless tone.

However, both versions of Leon objected simultaneously, forcing Luxion to relent, albeit reluctantly.

They had to briefly return home to deliver the captured ships, prisoners, and treasure to Leon's father. Once that was done, they resumed their journey.

By noon the next day, they were close to the village.

"Master, we are a few minutes away from the destination," Luxion reported matter-of-factly.

Leon, now controlling his body, paused to scratch his head thoughtfully.

"Let's wait until nightfall. The village elders would never let me into the places I need to go. But under the cover of night, we can sneak inside."

He glanced up at the sun, which was already beginning its descent, and smirked to himself as he started formulating his plan.
