Chapter 5: Chapter 4
"I don't think that there's anyone here..." Tucker said to Logan.
As they walked in, they noticed music playing from afar. The door was unlocked.
"Bitch, the door is unlocked!" Logan yelled. The door closed.
"The hell?"
"The hell?"
Both were trying to hear what was going on in the room. They heard a female moaning and a gruff animalistic voice that they would know anywhere.
"Fuck me! Fuck me harder! Fuck me harder, daddy!"
"Yeah, take that dick! Take that dick! Look back at me!"
"Am I your little slut?"
"Yeahhhh..."
"You like this pussy?"
Then they heard a smack. They looked at each other. It was Thad Thomas.
"Damn, Thaddeus. He getting some ass," Tucker said.
"Some nice ass. Damn."
"Choke me, daddy! Choke me!"
"DAMNNNNN!" They both silently exclaimed.
"We really shouldn't be listening to this," Tucker said.
"But it's so good!"
"Uh, uh, uh, ughhhhhhhhhh!!" She screamed orgasmically.
Ryan then walked in.
"What's up, bitches?" Ryan said.
"Shhh. Thaddeus is getting some ass. And from what we gather... Woo, man," Logan said.
"Well, that's between y'all because... You almost got kicked out once," Ryan said.
"We know. But you want to know a secret?" Tucker said.
"What is it?" Ryan said.
Right when he began to whisper it in his ear, the door opened. Thad Lewis came out.
"Thaddeus! You horny son of a bitch. She's a screamer, huh?" Tucker said.
"Shut up. She's right there, you know. She can hear you!"
"And I know who it is. I would know that figure anywhere," Ryan said.
"What's up, Abbs?" He smiled.
Abby Jordan sashayed out wearing nothing but a shirt and panties.
"Hi, Ryan."
Ryan looked at Tucker and Logan. They both said:
"What the hell?"
"Surprised?" Abby Jordan said.
"Surprised? We caught you fucking our brother!"
"And we thought you would be the last one to sneak around," Tucker said.
"Shows you how much you know about me, huh, Ryan?" Abby said with a grin.
Ryan smiled at his brothers. His iPhone vibrated. It was his newfound friend Ashley. It was a text that said:
"Where's the party at?"
(Intro hits)
Meanwhile, in another part of campus, Luther Lawson was talking to Anna Williams.
"I just don't know about this. Anna, I got a question of my own..." Luther said.
"What?"
"What made you love kids so much?"
"I guess... The first time I saw my Connor. I was in high school then. I was still going through some things, but as soon as I saw him I loved him. Now I want kids of my own," Anna said.
"That's what's up, doll face. Just for that... We'll do it."
"Really?" Anna kissed Luther as a thank you. Luther smiled.
All of a sudden, Trevon Morris came in, with Wesley Gray and Quentin Wilkins.
"We couldn't help but overhear... But..."
"Trevon," Luther said.
"Hi, Trevon," Anna greeted. "Hey, guys."
"Hey, Anna..." The three waved. Anna smiled and laughed.
"What do y'all dudes want?" Luther said.
"We couldn't help but overhear, but..." Wesley started.
"Trevon has a preposition for the both of you," Quentin Wilkins said.
"Well, my nephews need baby-sitting. Saturday night. Our game against Virginia is an afternoon game. My auntie Tami goes to work at night," Trevon said.
"Nephews? Plural?"
"Yes. Two."
"You helping, doll face?" Luther said.
"Always."
"We'll take the job. Now, is there any pay?" Luther said. Anna shot him a look. "What? Announcing your names when you score doesn't exactly... You know."
"You'll have to refer to my aunt," Trevon said, then walked away with Wes.
"Bro. Serious question. When will you tell your moms that you're dating a white girl?" Quentin asked. Luther shook his head.
Meanwhile, on the west coast, Private Larry Knight was jogging on base when his iPhone vibrated. It was a text from Jonathan Gibson, simply saying:
"Guess where I am?"
It had a picture of the skyline of Houston as a not-so-subtle hint.
Jonathan and Larry became friends after a Padres game that Larry and Rebecca went to when she visited him. Jonathan learned that they were both from the same city. They soon became fast friends. He stopped and texted back:
"You're in H-Town? Why?"
Before long, he got a text back:
"To surprise Gabby. She's not expecting me until in a few weeks. But I have a question to ask her."
Larry texted back...
"Wait, Not THE question?"
Seconds later, a reply...
"Yup, THE Question. Call me, brother, when you get a chance."
Larry smiled warmly, as he looked at his wallpaper of his fiancé.
"Hey, yo, Knight! You still daydreaming about that girlfriend of yours? Haha!" Denzel said.
"Shut up, Denzel. I think she's cute," Keke Jenkins said with a grin. She playfully jabbed him.
Meanwhile, back on Greek Row...
"Well, what do we know about you, Abby Jordan?" 'All Night' Tucker Knight said.
"Not nearly enough," Thad said, smiling. Abby shrugged.
"Hell, I kinda knew she was a closet freak. You always taught me, watch out for the quiet ones. Abby knew I was checking her out in class. She was quiet but cute. She shot me down, but we were still good friends. So much so that we talked about things other than Espanol, if you know what I mean..." Ryan said, with a smile. Abby shot him a look.
"Ugh. Boys," She said.
"True," Tucker said.
"Very true," Thad said.
"Yup," Logan said.
"Abbs, don't mind them. They're stupid like that," Ryan said. Abby giggled.
"Yeah, I got brothers. It's okay. Maybe you're not so perverted after all," She said.
"Perverted? How insulting!" Tucker said, gasping.
"All you talk about is sex."
"Well, to be fair..." Thad chimed in.
"Ok, ok. Truce, boys?"
"Truce," They all said in unison.
"Perhaps we got off on the wrong foot. My name is Tucker Knight. The ladies call me..."
"ALL NIGHT!" The rest said.
"Pleased to make your acquaintance. This is Chase Kelly. He works at The Paw. You might have seen him around. You know Ryan and Thaddeus. The latter in the Biblical sense, but I digress. And that's Wolverine, Logan Nash. So, Abby... Want a drink?" Tucker asked.
"Is he always like this?"
"Yeah, he is," Ryan said. Thad nodded.
"Just checking..."
Meanwhile, back on the West Coast, it is now nightfall. Private Larry Knight face timed Jonathan Gibson. He picked up on the second ring.
"Yo, what's up, bro? You said you were going to ask Gabby to marry you? Congrats, man," Larry said.
"Yeah, she's my queen. I saw a look in you. A look you always gave when looking at Rebecca. I realized that was totally, hopelessly, crazily in love. And something else..." Jonathan said.
"What is it? You weren't in love with her? It's almost Lights Out, get to it!" Larry said.
"Oh, I am. Last time I talked to her... She said that she wanted me to take her," He said. "Gabby doesn't believe in that stuff. I put aside my animalistic needs for her, even 2000 miles away. She's the one that said: 'Treat your thing between your legs like a diamond.' And she is my diamond."
"Damn, that's emotional, man. Let me text my girl real quick before Lights Out. Congrats, man."
"Thanks."
Jonathan hung up. Larry quickly texted his fiancé. It read...
"I love you, baby girl. Good night."
Seconds later...
"LIGHTS OUT!"
Meanwhile, back on campus, Devon Thornton was talking to Caleb Wright and Bryan Gordon while walking from practice.
"Dude, this is actually my first big game. Virginia is ranked this year," Devon said.
"Devon, you know in big games like this, they try to get in your head, right?" Bryan said.
"Of course. I'm not new to this shit. What'd they say?" Devon said.
"They said you're overrated. And unoriginal. And that your nickname is a disgrace to Lebron himself," Caleb said. "Not my words. Theirs."
"Ok. Ok. They want it, huh? Because they all will get it! They're going to see why I am 'The Chosen One," Devon said, determinedly.
"Hell yeah!" Bryan said.
"Let's go!" Caleb said. "You lied, did you?" Caleb murmured to Bryan. He nodded and grinned.
Devon all of a sudden bumped into a pretty face.
"Oh, sorry."
"My mistake. Myself and my teammates were just talking," Devon said.
"Devon Thornton, I presume. You're a rising star on the basketball team."
"They call me 'The Chosen One.' You can find out why in this weekend's game," Devon said. His teammates rolled their eyes.
"Please. Your ex gave you that nickname. In high school. She's with Luther, the announcer now. Oh, where are my manners? Bryan Gordon, Center for the Cougars," Bryan said. "That's Caleb. Caleb Wright. A fan favorite."
Caleb waved.
"My name is Francesca. Francesca Escobar. You can call me Fancy. I know your cousins. They go way back with me. And I know Luther. We go way back. Luther Lawson got a gig announcing for the team?" Fancy said. "And got a girlfriend?"
"Yup." They both said in unison.
"Anna. And she is hot. Like smoking," Caleb said, while Devon gave him a look. "She is, Devon..."
"That's an ex, isn't it? Oh my God. I have got to message him," She giggled. She took out her phone and began typing. Devon began checking her out.
"Anyway, nice to meet you guys," Fancy said.
"You too," Bryan said, courteously.
"Damn, she got some tits on her. Woo! I would suck on those," Devon said.
"How big do you think are those?" Caleb whispered to Devon.
But little did they know... Fancy would be typing to Luther on Instagram:
"You didn't tell me you announced for the basketball team!"
Luther typed back seconds later:
"Yeah, I do."
Fancy typed back:
"And... I didn't know you had a little GF! What she look like? Is she hot?"
Another message from her came in saying:
"It's ok, you can tell me. Remember your personal nickname you had for me?"
Luther cursed to himself. He typed back:
"Who told you?"
Minutes later, a message came back:
"Devon and Caleb. I bumped into them while they came back from practice. Bryan was with them too."
Luther typed back:
"Caleb always thought Anna was hot. Devon and Anna had a LONG history. Anna told me this story. Bryan is a senior, he's there to mentor. As for myself and Anna..."
Luther himself had never told anyone about Anna Williams, except the basketball team and his cousin Chauncey. He then typed.
"We met at a homecoming concert. Believe it or not, she liked me. A few semesters ago, we clicked at a club. We are almost complete opposites. But something about her is sexy as hell. And yes, she's hot. LOL."
Fancy typed back, smiling:
"Remember when you had it bad for me?"
It had a winking emoji on it.
Luther typed back a simple song lyric:
"Back then, you didn't want me..."
Luther added another message:
"You going to the game to hear your boy? Your boy sounds sexy on the mic. Haha. It's a big game."
Fancy typed back...
"I'll be there," With a smiling emoji on it.
Seconds later... Luther got a text from Anna:
"Got a surprise for you at the game..."
