After visiting Gine, Jiang Chen bid farewell to the couple and left the maternity room. However, he didn't leave the logistics center right away. Instead, he headed to another area of the center to find his colleague, Phil.
"Aspara?"
When Phil saw Jiang Chen, he looked a bit confused.
His colleague, due to his close relationship with Bardock, hadn't been coming to work for quite some time. It was surprising to see him show up now.
"Phil, are you handling the issues with the maternity room recently?" Jiang Chen paused for a moment, then asked.
"Yeah, you wouldn't know, Aspara, but there's been a lot going on in the maternity room. I've been swamped these past few days," Phil complained.
"I see." Jiang Chen nodded. "I wanted to ask, is there a Saiyan child named Paragus born recently?"
Jiang Chen's expression brightened, and after a moment of thought, he asked the question.
"Paragus? Yes, just a few days ago. I was the one taking care of them. They're in Area A, do you know them?" Phil responded.
"By the way, there was a big explosion in Area A today, apparently caused by the Tuffles. Those damn Tuffles are going to give me even more work now."
Phil nodded and continued complaining, but Jiang Chen didn't hear the rest of his words.
"Just as I thought!" He muttered softly. "Thanks, I'll treat you to a meal sometime."
Jiang Chen thanked Phil and quickly left the logistics center.
"Alright, alright!" Phil waved his hand, his expression a little envious but not daring to say much.
Jiang Chen hurriedly walked out of the logistics center. Once he stepped outside, he exhaled deeply.
"Could it really be Broly?" He muttered to himself, his emotions stirred.
In the Dragon Ball universe, there were only two true legends among the Saiyans. One was Son Goku (Kakarot), who went from being a low-class Saiyan with a Battle Power of 2 to becoming the universe's strongest warrior. The second, without a doubt, was Broly.
In the Saiyan legends, every thousand years, the strongest Super Warrior in the Multiverse would appear— a bloodthirsty, violent war addict with terrifying Battle Power. And Broly was this Legendary Super Saiyan.
In the old version of Dragon Ball, Broly's strength was already immense. In the movies, he alone could overpower Son Goku, Vegeta, Future Trunks, Piccolo, and Son Gohan— crushing them with ease. Even later, Son Gohan was completely dominated.
In the newer version, Broly's power was even more frightening. When he first appeared, he wasn't even a Super Saiyan, but he gradually grew strong enough to suppress Goku and Vegeta's Super Saiyan God forms and even Super Saiyan Blue. In the end, he was only defeated by the powerful Gogeta.
Jiang Chen hadn't thought much about it before.
After all, he hadn't heard any news about Broly's appearance.
Kakarot was born, but Broly didn't show up.
However, to his surprise, Broly had indeed appeared.
But the plot was completely different from what he remembered.
If Broly had been close to Kakarot, Jiang Chen could've been certain that this was indeed the old Dragon Ball timeline. But Broly was in the completely different Area A.
At the same time, Bardock had already experienced the destruction of Planet Kanassa, which left Jiang Chen uncertain about what was going on.
The only thing he could be sure of was that the arrival of Beerus on Planet Vegeta in the coming years could provide a definite answer.
Only with Beerus's arrival could things be confirmed.
But then came another issue.
Even if Beerus did come, given King Vegeta's nature, he would never allow such an embarrassing situation to be leaked.
It all returned to square one.
"Forget it, I'll just focus on my training!" Jiang Chen shook his head vigorously, finally letting out a deep sigh.
With his current status, it was far too difficult to determine certain things.
And, honestly, it seemed pointless to know the answers now.
After all, he had to first clear the main storyline mission before he could proceed further.
If he couldn't pass the first round, then all of this would be meaningless.
With his thoughts in motion, Jiang Chen momentarily set aside the ideas swirling in his mind and stepped back toward his home.
Over the next few days, as Kakarot was born, Jiang Chen returned to his previous training routine.
On the third day, Bardock brought back the new gravity bracelet and handed it back to Jiang Chen.
Jiang Chen immediately started using the new gravity bracelet.
Under such intense training, his power improvement was incredibly noticeable.
In just three months, his Battle Power had reached 180, only a step away from 200.
To put this into perspective, most Saiyan low-class warriors, once they reached adulthood, only had a Battle Power of around 200 to 300, and those who could reach 400 or 500 were in the minority.
For example, Gine Oba San's Battle Power was just a little over 200.
Jiang Chen, at this point, was not even six years old, and his Battle Power already rivaled that of an average mid-level warrior, almost catching up to Raditz.
It was said that Raditz's Battle Power was only around 210 at the moment.
He was less than 30 points away.
At the current rate, Jiang Chen might be able to surpass Raditz in less than two months.
However, he didn't have two months.
With only three days left before the first login session ended, Jiang Chen couldn't help but feel the pressure of the approaching deadline.
Three days from now, the first login session will conclude.
From the looks of things, the first major mission crisis would occur during the next login session.
After all, Kakarot was only a few months old, and the destruction of Planet Vegeta by Frieza was still a few years away— at least two, if not three, years.
This gave Jiang Chen a bit of relief.
Even if something went wrong, he felt he could escape now.
Spending some more time here wasn't a bad idea.
It would at least give him a chance to improve his strength and be somewhat safer.
After all, the universe wasn't a friendly place, and a Battle Power of just over 100 wouldn't guarantee his safety.
Jiang Chen expected that his strength would best be boosted to 400 or even 500 Battle Power, and ideally, closer to 1000.
Along with mastering the technology for artificial moons, these two factors would make leaving the planet much safer.
With a Battle Power of 400 or 500, and the ability to use an artificial moon, that would translate into 4000 or 5000 Battle Power. Such power wouldn't be weak in the universe.
In fact, it would even make him an expert.
While many in Frieza's army had Battle Powers of over 10,000, those were elite soldiers under Frieza, the universe's supreme ruler. In reality, encountering anyone with a Battle Power that high was extremely rare.
