 Meanwhile, at her home in her parents' house, Aiko was grounded, being forbidden to go out for the rest of the summer holiday season beyond her house. Her parents had just given her a strict, correcting lecture to her a few minutes ago, before the couple went out to attend Akira's birthday party to get some food as some sort of compensation for her stupidity. Her friends were forbidden by her parents to see her. Now being grounded in her room, Aiko began to regret her bullying and look down on Akira. She also remembered how Hachi, before the summer vacation period, had gradually become more popular in school, and that overshadowed her place in the school's popularity and socioeconomic hierarchy. Now she thought that one was karma for her arrogant attitude, being despair to herself. Now she thinks that her friends, if they had heard what she did to Akira at his birthday party, would leave and ostracize her, even outside of school.

 Because of this, after eating the birthday party food her parents brought for lunch, she began to reflect on her actions and change for the better. At the same time, at Akira's house, at 1:54 p.m., everyone in the house had just eaten lunch and dessert and played some games and were now cleaning up the place before leaving. The Filipino soldiers also helped to speed up the task. So, by 2:22 p.m., the guests, having brought some leftover food for themselves and anyone they know, left the place with goodbyes and thank you to the Satoshi-Cruz family, going back to their homes and stations in the village and outside of it. by 3:19 p.m., the Filipino military left Japan and flew back to the Philippines by a military plane. Meanwhile, Ezra, Ava, and their mother stayed in Japan for a few more days to enjoy their short vacation haul. Back at his house, Akira was happy that his 18th birthday was best in his life. Hachi and the other family members were happy for him, too.
