My Muscle System in the Mage World

Chapter 365: Kingdom of Myra and Kingdom of Wine

The Roshar Kingdom was bordered by two other kingdoms: the Kingdom of Myra and the Kingdom of Wine (as mentioned in earlier chapters).

The golden guards were travelling toward the border, right at the centre of where the Kingdom of Myra and the Kingdom of Wine meet.

These two kingdoms had been at war for decades, engaging in countless battles due to territorial conflicts and border disputes.

Unlike the small Roshar Kingdom, which was like a toddler, disconnected from the world with its strongest person being a mere tier-six wizard, both of these kingdoms have tier-seven wizards.

Tier-seven wizards were the true powerhouses in this world, capable of standing side by side with the greatest forces.

In fact, they all lived in seclusion most of the time, in their own world, without a care for the outside world. This allowed Tier Six wizards to act more unrestrained and they were the peak power most of the time.

The difference between a Tier Three and a Tier Four wizard was simply a matter of the form of mana changing from liquid to gas.

However, the difference between a Tier Six and a Tier Seven wizard was like a difference between entire worlds, literally.

Both of these kingdoms were well-connected with the world and were part of the Seven Kingdoms Alliance.

As for the six kingdoms joining together to relieve some pressure from the Divine Human Kingdom, this was done in secrecy, so while they could acknowledge it, they couldn't officially reveal it.

Although the Kingdom of Roshar was incredibly secluded, the first human emperor's story still reached everyone's ears, and there were countless fanatic fans of the tale, almost forming a cult.

If that were the case, then the situation in the outside world was even more terrifying. The human emperor, revered by all, especially the common people, would cause all these forces to face backlash from their own people if it were publicly announced.

"It couldn't be as simple as that," Aur muttered, frowning as he recalled all the information he had gathered—whether from the succubus or the information he had compiled from the information pavilion.

This was just an assumption made by one person, and it was in the highest secrecy level in the previous North Village, which had probably turned into scorched land.

A similar thing had also escaped the lips of Rowena, but Aur knew that these matters were never simple.

You cannot make assumptions based on a single sentence without valid evidence.

"Hmm?" Aur mused as he contemplated further, but he couldn't reach a solid conclusion.

A conclusion requires a reliable source, and Aur didn't have one.

From one perspective, since the information he obtained from the North Village was so well-secured, it might hold some validity. However, from another perspective, the increased security could be a deliberate ploy to mislead and confuse.

After all, the North Village was just a small settlement. How could it possess such detailed information about the world's power structure?

"Sigh."

Aur sighed, gazing at the serene blue sky with a glint in his eyes. If he looked down, the scene below was the exact opposite of the still and peaceful sky.

Countless screams and cries of rage filled the area as blood splattered the ground, staining it a deep crimson.

The wails of despair, the pungent stench of death, and a river of blood slowly forming showed the reality of the battlefield.

Aur observed as soldiers died with wide, horrified eyes, their faces etched with regret, reluctance, fear, and a chaotic mix of emotions.

In war, there is no mercy—it's a do-or-die situation.

He gazed at the bloody scene, feeling a slight shiver run down his spine. Millions of corpses littered the ground, covering the landscape as far as Aur's eyes could see.

"Looks like the two kingdoms are having skirmishes again."

At some point, Greater Lord Crystal appeared behind Aur, her golden hair fluttering in the wind as she gazed down at the carnage with a look of disdain.

"Skirmish?" Aur paused, his gaze returning to the blood-soaked battlefield below. "I see, my vision is still narrow," he silently acknowledged, a glint appearing in his eyes.

The population of this world was beyond comprehension. Even the Kingdom of Roshar, considered small and secluded, was as vast as a continent.

Imagining the sheer population of these two strong kingdoms, it would simply be terrifying.

Also, the Kingdom of Roshar has not been invaded yet because these two kingdoms are at odds with each other and would never allow the other to gain an advantage. Otherwise, the balance of power would tip.

Moreover, most of the people who died were mere mortals here, with only a few wizards mixed in. All of them were just expendable pawns in the perspectives of these two powerful kingdoms.

"Brat, is this your first time seeing a scene like this?" Greater Lord Crystal's voice cut through his thoughts.

"Yeah," Aur nodded calmly.

"It better not be the last thing you see if you remain disobedient," Greater Lord Crystal warned.

"Okay," Aur replied and simply remained silent.

"Hmph, brat," she scoffed, looking at Aur with disdain in her eyes.

Suddenly, a loud cry from an animal echoed throughout the area, shaking the entire surroundings.

Even the chariot they were in trembled slightly.

"Who dares to invade our territory?" A tall man with a protruding belly and a long beard, holding a cup of beer in his hand, stepped into the air. "This is the Kingdom of Wine's territory that we are reclaiming. Outsiders are not allowed to enter."

His eyes glinted with a sharp, dangerous light.

"When did this territory become yours? It was our Kingdom of Myra's to begin with. You damn alcoholic bastards, invading our sacred kingdom," a slim, tall man wearing glasses spat out, glaring at the bearded man with hatred as if they were on the verge of a fight.

"You dare to block the path of the Golden Army? Do you have a death wish?" a deep female voice rang out.

The two men immediately shuddered, sweat dripping down their backs.
