My New Eyes Can See Through Clothes

Chapter 32: Eyes Got Stronger

Leo followed his gaze and then said with a smile, "I knew you really knew something about ruby stone. You saw something good at first sight. That piece of ruby is the best among all the exhibits. Come on, I'll take you to have a look."

As he spoke, Leo led Jack straight through the crowd and came to a booth, saying with a smile, "You can pick it up and have a look."

Jack hesitated for a moment, then carefully picked up the glittering raw stone, turned on the perspective and began to observe it.

He needs to observe carefully what differences he can see when he opens the perspective of the raw stone.

In this way, he can gain some experience when selecting uncut raw stones.

But when his X-ray vision was turned on, he was shocked.

Because he saw a ball of red light floating in the center of the jade.

Jack doesn't understand what this red light was. Just as Jack was astonished, his eyes automatically emitted a suction force, and the red light was pulled by this suction force and shot towards his eyes.

Jack was startled and quickly closed his eyes, but it was too late.

The moment the light entered his body, Jack felt a flash before his eyes and his body staggered.

Fortunately, Leo was quick-witted and reached out to support him, saying in astonishment, "Jack, what's wrong with you? Are you feeling unwell?"

Jack came back to his senses, still shocked by the scene that just happened.

Instead of feeling uncomfortable, he felt much clearer. Even his vision became clearer, and his perspective ability was enhanced. He could see even the slightest detail in the original stone clearly.

"Jack? Are you alright?" Leo's voice cut through the haze of Jack's thoughts, concern evident in his tone.

Jack shook his head, pulling himself out of the trance. "I'm fine," he assured, a smile creeping back onto his face. "Uncle Leo, can we look at some of the other exhibits?"

"Of course! We have plenty of time before the auction begins," Leo replied, relieved to see Jack recovering.

They moved to another display, where a half-cut raw stone caught Jack's eye. Its polished surface revealed a rugged interior, and it shimmered with an otherworldly allure. Intrigued, Jack stepped closer and examined it.

This time, he noticed a faint white light pulsing gently within, its serene glow almost beckoning him. Without a second thought, he reached out to touch the stone's surface. The moment his fingers made contact, the light responded, surging forward with an eager intensity.

Jack was ready this time. As the light entered him, a soothing warmth enveloped his body, filling him with comfort and clarity. He could feel the energy racing through him, but he focused, determined not to let it overwhelm him. With a deliberate effort, he absorbed just enough to enhance his abilities without draining the stone completely.

The white light within the raw stone dimmed to a mere flicker, leaving behind a subtle glow that resembled a heartbeat. Jack stepped back, satisfaction blooming in his chest. He understood the importance of balance; by leaving a trace of spiritual energy, the stone could eventually recover and regain its beauty.

As he continued to explore, Jack carefully absorbed small portions of energy from several other stones, each time feeling his Celestial Eyes grow stronger. The enhancements were profound; even without fully activating his powers, he could now detect the tiniest details around him. It was as if he had gained the ability to see the world through a magnifying glass.

Intrigued, Jack decided to test his newfound abilities on the people nearby. He focused his gaze on Leo, who was studying another stone intently. Jack activated his X-ray vision, marveling as he observed Leo's bodily functions: the steady flow of blood, the rhythmic pulse of his heart. But something unusual caught his eye — one particular blood vessel appeared irregular, its flow erratic and strained.

Curiosity piqued, Jack examined a few others in the vicinity but found no similar anomalies. Before he could say anything, he realized he had been staring too long. Leo glanced at him, a teasing smile on his lips. "Is something wrong with my outfit?" he joked, raising an eyebrow.

Caught off guard, Jack quickly masked his surprise. "No, no," he said, shaking his head. "Everything looks fine. Actually, Uncle Leo... have you had a health checkup recently?"

Leo paused, surprise flashing across his face. "What brings that up?" he asked, half-laughing.

"I just think you should make some time for one," Jack replied gently, his tone more serious now.

Leo chuckled, patting Jack on the shoulder. "I promise I will soon. Now come on, the auction is about to begin! Let's take our seats."

Jack nodded, still slightly concerned but deciding to let the matter rest for now. Together, they made their way toward the venue, excitement buzzing in the air as the auction drew closer.
