My Teacher Is Too Good For Others. So, I Decided To Marry Her.

Chapter 5: Proposal

"What are you talking about?" Jon was confused.

"The thing you were talking about being a man behind the bathhouse. When I found you peeping at Sianna, you said something like 'It is the duty of every man...' and 'to prove that you are a real man, you had resolved to face any harsh weather and tackle any stor...'" -Olen recollected. Jon quickly grabbed Olen and shut his mouth with one hand.

Cold sweat started to drench Jon again... for a totally different reason than when he was in Elena's room. Suddenly, he started feeling danger from looking at the kid. It was as if he was holding a ticking time bomb. Something that could explode at any moment if kept unchecked.

"What are you talking about? I don't remember anything like that." Jon refused to admit the incident.

He would be a fool to admit it. Sianna 'will' hunt him to the end of the world if she ever knew of his deeds.

Sianna is lord Baron's first wife's maid. Though she is very good-looking, she has a temper that doesn't let people come close. So, Jon doesn't know how she is going to react after hearing of his misdeeds.

Jon can't let this kid ever talk about the incident, ever. He was seriously contemplating how to shut the kid's mouth. Should he persuade him, or should he just hit him in the head so he forgets everything…

"Don't lie to me. You said when I become a 'Man Man', I'd also have to do the deed. And you said you would teach me everything... the things a man and his wife do too. I have to be a man now. So, you must tell me now." -Olen insisted.

"Huh." What is this talking about all of a sudden? Where did he learn about those?

Jon felt like his head was spinning. He can't make any sense of what the kid is saying.

'Just what is this kid up to?' -he thought... and then, he thought a bit more.

"Oh, you are talking about that." -Jon was relieved to realize something. At least the kid isn't scheming to blackmail him.

"I guess it's about time you grow up. All right, I will teach you everything you need to know. I will make you a proper cultured man." Saying so, Jon put up an evil grin on his face. He brought out a few books from who knows where inside his shirt.

"hahaha, Behold, this is the sacred text that can change ones like. These are the words of supreme beings. And because of my benevolence, you, my disciple, get to see them with your own eyes. Only after you have learned this by heart will you be able to become a proper man. Ha ha ha." -Jon said laughingly like a maniac.

The so-called sacred text is…..(you know what the 'Sacred Text' is….)

Jon was delighted.

Now he has a partner in crime. The only thing more enjoyable than discussing with a fellow cultured man of his exploits is creating the exploits together.

With Olen by his side, he will be able to do both. No one... absolutely no one would be able to stop him from conquering the world… or so he thought in his delusions. So, of course, he was delighted.

In Jon Jon's mind, now the two of them have become as close as brothers. No, they are brothers from different mothers, who are closer than actual brothers.

So, that's how Olen became a 'Man' under the guidance of 'the great sage' Jon.

.

The next morning.

At breakfast table.

It was only Elena and Bianca eating. Though there were others in the house, namely the other three wives of Baron and their children, at the moment, only the two of them were at the table.

It was very late for breakfast. They must have had their fill earlier. It was Bianca, who should also have finished her breakfast, but was unusually late.

Though Elena felt it odd, she just thought that Bianca was one of those who woke up late. She was the same.

If there was nothing to do, she would always laze around like a cat. So she didn't find anything wrong with it.

Well, Bianca was by no means lazy. She had her reasons for being late. And that was to talk to Elena. She specially waited for her.

"So, Ms. Aniston, are you feeling better?" Bianca asked.

"Yes, Baroness Alden. I feel a lot better due to the hospitality provided by your house. I will properly repay for the kindness of family shown me one day." Elena said politely. As a well-mannered lady, she must always repay the kindness shown to her.

"You are so well-mannered. Have you learned of the etiquettes of nobles from somewhere?" –Bianca.

Elena remembered the times her etiquette teacher drilled those gestures befitting of nobles into her day and night. Oh, how she hated those lessons.

"Yeah, I picked it up while traveling." –Elena.

"Oh, Did you do anything other than traveling?" –Bianca asked.

"I was traveling with a merchant group. You see, my father is a merchant too. But he said, 'It isn't good to live under the shelter of your parents if you want to be a successful merchant' and sent me out with one of his friends." –Elena.

"Well, I don't know if I am cut out to be a merchant now." –Elena made a bitter face.

"It's fine. All is good as long as you are alive. You can figure out your path in time." Bianca said smilingly.

This time Elena was confused. Why was Bianca being so friendly to her? She thought, Even if Bianca was aware of her identity, she should have stayed clear of her. But now she hasn't even asked about her identity or anything. On top of that, she was acting so concerned about her.

Anyway, Elena kept smiling.

Bianca didn't ask about her identity because it would make Elena make another lie. She understood it would make things more difficult for her the more she delved into it.

Which is exactly what made Elena confused. She understood there might be a plot going on.

But she couldn't feel any ill intentions from her. So she let it go and tried to play along.

She thought Jon must have obeyed her and didn't say anything to Bianca. Otherwise, Bianca would have kept clear of her.

They chatted with each other a bit more as Elena tried to understand what was going on in the head of this woman. But halfway through, she had to give up her plan. Bianca is too slippery to get an answer from.

"But you are still feeling weak, right? So eat well and rest. You should also move about in the garden. My boy seems to like you very much. You can stay here while you are recuperating."

"Thanks for the invitation. I do intend to take a rest for a while, but I can't possibly accept any more generosity than I already have. So, I must decline." Elena said.

"What are you talking about? It's no issue at all."

Then after thinking for a while, Bianca said, "You intend to repay the kindness shown to you, right?"

Elena nodded in reply.

"So, how about you become a teacher for my son? You have good manners, and I understand that you are quite learned as you trained to be a merchant. And my son is still growing. So I was looking for someone who can get along with him to be his house tutor."

"Then you won't have to look for a place to stay. And I can get a tutor for my son. Both parties get what they want."

"Oh, and I promise to pay a good sum for the job. Though I will sometimes check on the progress, no one else would ask anything of you. Isn't that perfect? So, what do you think?"

Bianca would like to have Elena as house guar… tutor. So, she had prepared her speech well in advance. Elena didn't have any excuses to give.

Then Elena thought about how she had to lay low for a while. In the meantime, she would need money. Though she had money and items she could sell, the currency wasn't the same, and the items she was carrying were something she needed for herself. Especially at a time like this.

Then again, there was no downside to it. So, she took on the offer.

Still, she didn't understand, why Bianca was so considerate to her. Even If Jon had told her about her prowess, she should have avoided her.

On top of that, Binanca knew nothing about her skills, yet she wanted her as her son's tutor... She didn't quite get it. So she could only blame Jon for whatever was happening.

'That Jon must have introduced me as a scholar or something. Was he trying to get back at me by sending that stupid child or something?'

Well, she was more than qualified enough to do the job. So, she nodded.

Elena was hired as a teacher by the Aldens.

.

That night Olen finished taking his lesson to be a 'Man' from Jon.

"I have fulfilled my duty to guide you. As your master, this is where I stop guiding you. You can keep the texts to further your research. All you need to do now is practice. Take every opportunity to learn. For now, Master Jon will take his leave. You may come to me as a fellow disciple on the same road. But I will not be guiding you from here forth." Jon said proudly. He felt very accomplished.

But on the other hand, Olen felt the world was spinning.

He learned... he learned the knowledge known only to men, the knowledge that transformed boy to a man, the 'Great knowledge' that can and will change his life for good.

Olen never knew there could be such a thing... Such a thing between a man and a woman.

It hadn't been long since he felt his little boy down there getting rowdy when he woke up in the morning. And he didn't understand why it did that or what to do with it. But now he knows. These sacred texts have given him the answers he needed.

'What is this feeling? I don't understand. What are these poses described here? I don't understand it at all.' Olen's face was all red. His head was steaming. He couldn't sort his feelings. The more he thought, the more curious he became.

"The other day, you found me looking at... doing my research. You should understand it now, right? We must always strive for perfection. So please don't talk about it to anyone, all right?" -Jon told the last bit of the sentence very quickly and very very seriously. Though he added a please in the sentence, from the wording, anyone could say it wasn't a request.

But Olen, whose head was already in the clouds, didn't understand what Jon just said. He just nodded without saying anything.

"You have to know there will be pain and hardship. But you can't go astray. All right, that's it for today. I will look for you when the time comes." -Even so, Jon felt assured. He happily left, leaving the pure child whom he just dyed with pink color all alone….

In a daze, Olen went to his room. There, however, he found his mother sitting on the chair. Seeing his mother, his mind cleared.

"Mom, is something wrong? Do you need something?" -But for some reason, he felt guilty and blurred out.

"Why? Can't I come? Do I need reasons other than just to see my son? Huh, Olen, did you do something wrong?" -Bianca asked one after another.

"No, not at all. If you just wanted to see me, you could have sent Jully. I would have come running." -Olen said. Bianca looked at her son suspiciously.

'There's definitely something fishy going on here.' -she thought.

This son of hers is always up to no good. He is an expert at giving her a headache. But she can't always question him. That's not good for his development. And right now, she has something else to say to him. So, she didn't ask for an explanation and let it go this once.

"Anyway, I just wanted to tell you I found a home tutor for you today. Your lessons will begin next week."

"Is that so? Who will be my teacher then?" Olen said curiously.

"That... You will know when the time comes." -Bianca didn't answer.

'That's for hiding things from me.' -She thought.

"Go to sleep early today. It's not good for a growing boy to stay up late. You will be training under Jon From early in the morning, and your lessons will be held in the afternoon from next week." -Saying so she got up from her chair, brushed her hand on his head, and left.

Olen heaved a sigh of relief. He quickly locked the door. He had gotten quite the fright. If his mom hugged him, like she always does, he would have been found out.

He quickly pulled the sacred text from under his shirt and hid it under the bed.

'No matter what, these books are not to be found by anyone' is what Jon had told him. He said if Bianca finds it, it will be immediately confiscated. And Olen knew it is true. He was feeling guilty for hiding stuff from his mom. But he surely couldn't tell her about any of these.

Now that the books were hidden, he could relax a bit. He wished he had a pocket like his father. That way, no one would know about the things he carries.

Then he got curious once again. 'Who could be my new teacher?'

He didn't like the idea of having a teacher. He has sword training with Jon every day. Now he also has to study on top of that? The last time he had a teacher, he sent him packing in a week.

Though Olen was obedient, he hated studying.

Bianca genuinely needed someone who could monitor him and keep him in check. The last time she hired someone, he had a lot of trouble as Olen would always pull pranks on him.

Her obedient son became very disobedient when she wasn't looking for these cases. For this reason, she wanted someone powerful enough to keep him in check. And Elena was just the right candidate.

'I am a genius.' Bianca thought while walking back to her room with a satisfied smile.
