Alan was waiting at the nearby stop for his cab which he had just booked before he thought he would walk again to reach the shop, but after receiving the location, he dropped the idea and booked a cab.

"Anna, why couldn't I see their stats, it was again those question marks, like Elena and Christiana," Alan asked.

The sign creaked softly in the breeze. Alan felt a flutter of excitement and nervousness in his stomach as he approached.

Pushing the door open, he stepped inside. The shop was dimly lit but had a warm feel to it. The walls were lined with various weapons—swords, bows, and even some strange gadgets he had never seen before. The air smelled of polished wood and metal. A large wooden counter sat in the middle of the room, where an older man with a thick beard stood, polishing a shiny sword.

"Welcome to The Enchanted Armory!" the man said, looking up with a friendly smile. "I'm Alucard. How can I help you today?"

"Hi! I'm Alan," he replied.

"oh!, you are that child sent by Ren," Alucard asked, setting the sword down.

"yes," Alan said scratching his head.

"So, what type of weapon do you need? Alucard asked.

Alan looked around, feeling a mix of awe and confusion. "I'm not sure. Maybe a sword? Or a bow?" He pointed to a display of swords hanging on the wall.

Alucard nodded and walked over to the swords. "A sword is a classic choice. They can be very useful in many situations." He picked up a sleek sword with a shiny blade and handed it to Alan. "Try this one."

The sword felt heavy and powerful in Alan's hands. He imagined himself fighting off imaginary monsters, the sword glinting in the sunlight. But he wasn't sure. "It's nice, but I think I might like a bow too."

"Ah, the bow!" Alucard said with a twinkle in his eye. "Let's take a look at some options." He led Alan to a different section of the shop where several bows were displayed. Some were simple, while others were beautifully decorated with carvings of animals and plants.

"This one here is a great starter bow," Alan said, pointing to a simple wooden bow. "It's light and easy to use. Perfect for beginners."

Alan took the bow in his hands. It felt just right. He could imagine himself practicing in a field, aiming at targets. "I think I like this one!" he exclaimed.

"Excellent choice! But remember, a good bow needs arrows," Alucard replied, guiding him to a rack filled with arrows. Each arrow was straight and smooth, the feathers perfectly aligned. "These are made from strong wood, so they'll fly far and true."

As Alan picked out a dozen arrows, he felt a sense of pride. He was preparing for his adventure, and he was starting to feel brave. "How much will it all cost?" he asked, suddenly concerned holding both sword and arrows.

Alucard smiled. "Don't worry about that. I can give you a special deal today since you're someone close to Ren." He added everything up on a small notepad. "How about two thousand mora for the bow and arrows and one thousand for a sword?"

Alan nodded eagerly. This was the perfect price for him. He had saved up his salary for weeks and had just enough. After counting out the moras, he handed them over. "Thank you so much!"

"Always a pleasure to help a young awakener. Remember, practice makes perfect!" Alucard said, wrapping the bow, arrows, and sword carefully in a cloth.

As Alan stepped out of The Enchanted Armory, he felt a rush of excitement. The market was still lively, but now he had a mission. With his new bow and arrows slung over his shoulder and a sword secured at his waist, he felt ready for the adventure that awaited, and he couldn't wait to begin! With that, Alan gave a final look at the stats.
