mysterious revenge: An Impossible love story

Chapter 18: Love, Lies, and betrayal

As Ayan stepped into Roshni's house, the door πŸšͺ creaked open, and Roshni's eyes locked onto his. Time seemed to slow down as she rushed towards him, her arms open wide.

Ayan's eyes widened in surprise as Roshni flung herself into his arms, wrapping him in a tight hug. He stood there for a moment, taken aback by her sudden display of affection.

But then, his arms wrapped around her, holding her close. Roshni's face was buried in his chest, and he could feel her warm breath on his skin.

"I was so worried about you," Roshni whispered, her voice muffled against his chest. "Where did you go? You didn't even come to visit me once."

Ayan's hand stroked her hair, his touch gentle. "I'm sorry, Roshni. I was busy with some things. But I'm here now. How are you? How's your injury?"

Roshni pulled back, her eyes sparkling with tears. "I'm better now. But I was so scared when you didn't come."

Ayan's eyes locked onto hers, his gaze burning with intensity. "I have something important to tell you, Roshni."

Roshni's eyes narrowed, her brow furrowing in curiosity. "What is it?"

Ayan took a deep breath, his words spilling out in a rush. "I was thinking... maybe we... maybe we should get married."

Roshni's eyes widened in surprise, and then a slow smile spread across her face. "I was thinking the same thing," she whispered.

Ayan's eyes lit up with excitement. "Really?"

Roshni nodded, her smile growing wider. "Yes, really. My parents are coming over today, and I was thinking we could tell them together."

Ayan's face lit up with a bright smile. "That's great! I'll call my mom and ask her to come over too."

Roshni nodded, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "I'll go get ready. You can go outside and make the call."

Ayan nodded, his phone already in hand. He stepped outside, the cool breeze hitting him as he dialed Vivan's number.

Ayan's voice was low and urgent as he spoke to Vivan over the phone. "Roshni wants me to meet her parents, and she's told them that I'm Mahir, her fiancΓ©." πŸ“ž

Vivan's response was immediate. "Don't worry, I'll take care of it. I'll bring someone who'll pretend to be your mom." πŸ‘΅

Ayan's eyes narrowed in thought. "Okay, but make sure her name is At Least. At least one thing should be true." 😏

Vivan chuckled. "Alright, I'll make sure of it. I'll be there soon." πŸ‘

Ayan ended the call and turned to Roshni, who was watching him with anxious eyes. "When your parents arrive, just call me, and I'll come over." πŸ“ž

Roshni nodded, her face set in determination. "I've told them everything about you, and I've told them that your name is Mahir. Just go along with it, okay?" 🀞

Ayan smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry, I'll play along. I'll just go and get ready." πŸ‘

As Ayan left, Roshni's parents arrived at the house. Roshni flung herself into their arms, tears of joy streaming down her face. "I miss you, Mom and Dad!" πŸ’•

Her parents hugged her tightly, their faces filled with happiness. "We've missed you too, beta. And we're so excited to meet Mahir!" πŸŽ‰

Roshni smiled, her heart racing with excitement. She knew that Ayan would play along, and she was eager to see how the meeting would go. πŸ€”

Roshni's eyes sparkled with excitement as she spoke to her parents. "Not now, Mom and Dad. Mahir will be here soon." πŸ•°οΈ

Her parents exchanged a warm glance, their faces filled with happiness. "We're so glad you're getting married, beta. You're our only daughter, and we want everything to be perfect for you." πŸ’•

Roshni smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry, Mom. I'll take care of everything. Just relax." 😊

Just then, the doorbell rang, and Roshni's eyes lit up. "Mahir's here!" she exclaimed. πŸŽ‰

Ayan walked in with a woman who bore a striking resemblance to his mother. Roshni's parents were taken aback by Ayan's charming smile and his "mother's" warm demeanor. πŸ‘΅

As they sat down to discuss the wedding details, Roshni's parents were impressed by Ayan's poise and confidence. They couldn't help but feel that their daughter had made an excellent choice. πŸ’―

As the meeting drew to a close, Ayan and his "mother" took their leave, leaving Roshni's parents feeling delighted and relieved. πŸ‘‹

With the wedding preparations in full swing, Roshni couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness. She missed her best friend, Harleen, and wished she could be there to share in her joy. πŸ’”

Roshni picked up her phone and dialed Harleen's number, but Vivan, who had been holding onto Harleen's phone, refused to answer. Instead, he sent a message pretending to be Harleen. πŸ“±

"Hey Roshni, I'm so sorry but I won't be able to make it to your wedding. I have some urgent work that I need to attend to." πŸ€•

Roshni's face fell as she read the message, feeling a deep sense of disappointment and sadness. She had been looking forward to sharing her special day with her best friend, and now it seemed that Harleen wouldn't be able to make it. πŸ˜”

As the clock struck 3:00 AM, Roshni woke up with a start, her heart racing with excitement. Today was her wedding day, and she couldn't wait to start getting ready.

She slipped out of bed and began her elaborate beauty routine, transforming herself into a stunning bride. She slipped into a gorgeous red lehenga, paired with matching red heels πŸ‘  and a elegant hairstyle that cascaded down her back like a waterfall. The finishing touches were added with intricate jewelry that sparkled like diamonds in the morning light.

As she gazed at her reflection in the mirror, Roshni couldn't help but feel like a princess. She was a vision of loveliness, and she knew that Ayan would be blown away by her beauty.

Meanwhile, Ayan was getting ready at Vivan's house, looking dashing in a black sherwani and matching black shoes.

"By the way, I sent a message to Roshni from Harleen's phone," Vivan said, his voice low and conspiratorial. "I told her that Harleen wouldn't be able to make it to the wedding."

Ayan nodded, his eyes gleaming with understanding. "Good thinking. Let's just hope that Harleen doesn't show up unexpectedly."

Vivan raised an eyebrow. "You're really going through with this, aren't you? You have already get Roshni sign of 90% shares of Inje company the why are you going to marry Roshni without telling her the truth."

Ayan's face was set in determination. "I've fallen in love with her, Vivan. I know it's crazy, but I couldn't help the way I feel. And I'm not going to hurt her by telling her the truth."

Vivan sighed, his eyes filled with concern. "But eventually, the truth will come out, Ayan. And when it does, it's going to be a disaster. Your parents, Roshni's parents... they're all going to be affected by this deception."

Ayan's voice was laced with conviction as he spoke to Vivan. "If I tell Roshni the truth now, she won't understand. I'll explain everything to her later."

But before Vivan could respond, a sudden crash echoed through the room. The sound of shattering glass made both Ayan and Vivan spin around.

Their eyes widened in shock as they took in the sight of Harleen standing behind them, her eyes blazing with anger and tears. It was clear that she had overheard their entire conversation.

Vivan sprang into action, dashing towards Harleen with a speed that belied his calm demeanor. He grasped her wrists, holding her in a firm but gentle grip.

"Let me go!" Harleen struggled against Vivan's hold, her voice rising in desperation.

But Vivan remained silent, his eyes locked onto hers as he swept her into his arms. He carried her out of the room, leaving Ayan staring after them in concern.

As Vivan locked Harleen into his room, she turned on him, her eyes flashing with anger. "You and your friend are doing something terrible," she spat, her voice trembling with rage. "You're ruining Roshni's life!"

Tears streamed down Harleen's face as she spoke, her body shaking with sobs. Vivan stood before her, his expression impassive, but his eyes gleaming with a hint of emotion.
