Naruto: Binding Uchiha Sasuke, Hundredfold Return

Chapter 180: Chapter 180: The New Fifth Hokage

A few days later, with the support of the Daimyo, the high-ranking officials of Konoha, and the villagers' love, Himan from the Gekko Clan was officially appointed as the Fifth Hokage of Konoha!

That's right! You didn't misread it! Fifth Hokage!

Due to Danzo's vile actions, the Daimyo, the villagers, and even Konoha's upper echelon agreed to strip him of his title as the Fifth Hokage. His face was removed from the Hokage Rock, replaced with Himan's!

No one could have foreseen this outcome. The Hokage title that Danzo desired so deeply was taken from him after only a few months. He lost not only the position but also his life and honor. From now on, whenever people mention the Fifth Hokage, they will think of Himan and of Danzo—the disgraceful "Fourth and a Half" Hokage.

Once in power, Himan stayed true to his promises and adopted the policies of the Third Hokage. No more wars, no unnecessary trouble—only economic development and village growth. This led to widespread approval, with villagers feeling they had chosen wisely. This time, they genuinely believed they had selected their Hokage.

Around noon, a week later…

A figure hurriedly entered the Hokage's office. "Lord Hokage, have you finished reviewing the documents I gave you yesterday?"

"Huh? Documents? What documents?" A hungover Himan, his clothes disheveled, crawled out from under the desk, where two women were still sound asleep.

"It's the documents regarding Konoha's defense distribution and financial expenses!" The man didn't pay much attention to Himan's disheveled appearance, too focused on getting his work done.

"Oh, that..." Himan rubbed his head, trying to clear his mind. Glancing at the desk, he saw a folder labeled with those very words—though it bore traces of someone's vomit.

Himan tossed the dirty folder into the trash. "This thing is filthy! Did you throw up on it? Make a new copy and bring it tomorrow!"

"Um... wasn't that your vomit? And you want me to redo the entire thing?"

"Lord Hokage, this is urgent. Tomorrow's too late!"

Just then, a few more ninja entered the office.

"Lord Hokage, we're here for a mission. Any C-rank ones in the Land of Fire?"

They froze at the sight of Himan's disheveled appearance and the two women under the desk. Their eyes grew wide, exchanging silent glances.

"It's not what it looks like!" the first man blurted.

The two women stirred and sat up. "Patriarch… Lord Hokage, who's causing such a ruckus this early? It's impossible to sleep with all this noise!" said one with a pout.

"Yes, exactly! How are we supposed to rest?" agreed her sister.

"Lord Hokage, are you... having a party?" asked a curious Genin, barely out of Ninja Academy.

Himan's face flushed. "Ah, they're my assistants. We were working late and, well, just fell asleep here."

"Oh, right," the Genin replied, though it was clear he didn't buy it. Everyone knew Himan had quite the night, but no one dared call him out.

One of the messengers finally left, muttering, "I'll redo the document. Just make sure to review it tonight!"

"No worries, I'll check it tonight!"

"And what about our mission?" another asked.

"Right, right. C-rank, you said? Let's see… there are plenty. Pick whichever suits you."

The chaotic morning passed, leaving Himan exhausted by the afternoon.

"Whew, if I'd known being Hokage was this much work, I might not have taken it."

The two women immediately approached, ready to massage his tired shoulders.

"Lord Hokage, why not get a real secretary to handle these things?" suggested the elder sister.

"Yes, with a secretary, you'd only need to focus on major decisions!" the younger sister added.

"You're right, but who could I trust for the job?" Himan sighed, glancing at the two sisters. They were nice enough, but their skills were limited.

'Perhaps I'll call someone tonight—they used to be ninja, they could help,' he thought.

Himan stroked his chin thoughtfully. "Good idea! You two, take care of any C-rank tasks while I'm gone. Handle everything below C-rank yourselves."

"Understood, Lord Hokage!" they responded in unison.

Himan soon found himself visiting Kazuki's home again, a visit that Kazuki, who preferred solitude, barely tolerated.

"Patriarch, aren't you already Hokage? How do you still have time to visit me?"

"Hahaha! I'm here to see you, of course! Those duties are trivial."

"Really?" Kazuki eyed Himan skeptically. Even diligent Danzo had been overwhelmed by Hokage responsibilities, yet Himan seemed as cheerful as ever.

"Do I look like I'm lying? I even brought something for you—a rare tea imported from the Land of Ember. The flavor is unparalleled!"

"Ember Tea?"
