Naruto: Destroy the Sarutobi Clan At the Beginning

Chapter 113: Chapter : 115

For three consecutive days, Kirito and Tsunade lived a life of "Chinatsu inside the door, Shizune outside the door." Thanks to Kirito's relentless efforts, Tsunade's complexion became rosier, her skin more radiant, and her energy levels noticeably improved. However, Shizune suffered during this time. Forced to eavesdrop nightly, she became increasingly fatigued and frustrated.

It wasn't until the fourth day that Kirito finally completed his "mission" and enjoyed a good night's rest.

As dawn approached, the day of Kirito's departure loomed.

That night, Tsunade, resting against Kirito's chest, asked curiously, "What's wrong? Usually, you never get enough, but today you've stopped on your own. This isn't like you."

Kirito gently stroked her hair, a soft sigh escaping his lips. "I'm leaving tomorrow."

The room fell silent. Tsunade's hands tightened slightly around him. After a moment, she whispered, "Where are you going?"

"To Konoha," Kirito replied. "The Chunin Exams are approaching, and I need to be there."

"Konoha?" Tsunade's eyes widened in surprise. "You're a ninja from Konoha?"

Tsunade felt a mix of emotions. She was surprised to discover that Konoha had produced someone as strong as Kirito. Relief followed—if he was from Konoha, it might ease some of her anxieties about their relationship. But embarrassment crept in too. The thought of her relationship with someone so much younger than her, especially a Konoha ninja, brought a flush to her cheeks.

But Kirito's next words shattered her thoughts. "I used to be."

Tsunade froze. "Used to be? Are you saying you're a traitor?"

Kirito nodded solemnly, not denying the accusation.

Silence returned to the room, thick with tension. After a long pause, Tsunade finally broke it. "Why?"

Kirito's voice turned serious. "The White Fang of Konoha committed suicide, the Sannin left the village, the Fourth Hokage and his wife died in battle, Hyuga Hizashi was sacrificed to appease Kumogakure, and the Uchiha clan was eradicated. Konoha has lost countless talents. Now, aside from Kakashi and Might Guy, there are barely any competent ninjas left. Meanwhile, Sarutobi Hiruzen continues to boast about being the 'strongest Hokage.' Why do you think all of this happened?"

Tsunade's brow furrowed as she realized what Kirito was implying. "Those damn old fools again," she muttered, her frustration evident. "So, what are you planning to do in Konoha?"

"To witness Sarutobi Hiruzen's death," Kirito replied bluntly.

"Just to witness?" Tsunade asked hesitantly. Despite her grievances with her former teacher, the thought of his death still tugged at her heart.

"Yes, just to witness," Kirito confirmed. "Originally, I intended to kill a few people myself, but for your sake, I'll refrain."

Tsunade's expression softened slightly. "Do you know who plans to kill him?"

"You know him as well—Orochimaru, one of the Sannin. He'll ally with Sunagakure to execute the Konoha Collapse Plan."

"That bastard," Tsunade muttered angrily, immediately standing up. "I'll go back with you—"

Before she could finish, Kirito gently pushed her back onto the bed. "I suggest you don't interfere. In a way, Orochimaru is attempting to save Konoha through extreme measures."

"What do you mean?" Tsunade asked, confusion evident in her voice.

Kirito sighed. "Orochimaru has his flaws—he's greedy, perverse, and treats human life as a mere tool. But despite all this, you, as one of the Sannin, should know him better. Deep down, his intentions aren't as simple as they seem.

"For instance, take Sunagakure. Because of their alliance with Konoha, the Daimyo of the Land of Wind entrusted more missions to Konoha instead of the Sand Village. This caused a significant drop in Sunagakure's income, leading to drastic budget cuts. The resentment of the Sand ninjas towards Konoha has only grown, and if left unchecked, war is inevitable."

He paused, letting his words sink in before continuing, "As for Konoha, the Third Hokage's compromises over the years have cost the village dearly. He's sacrificed its people in exchange for so-called peace while simultaneously funneling resources to benefit the Sarutobi clan. His selfishness has turned Konoha into a shadow of its former self. The destruction of the Uchiha clan is just one example of how the village has been drained of its strength."

Tsunade's eyes narrowed. "But the Sarutobi clan was wiped out five years ago, along with the Shimura clan and the Uchiha clan."

"Exactly," Kirito said with a faint smile. "I was the one who destroyed the Sarutobi and Shimura clans."

Tsunade's heart skipped a beat. For a moment, she didn't know how to respond. If anyone else had said this, she would have lashed out in anger. But the man in front of her was the father of her child, her partner.

She hesitated before asking, "So, all of this was to rid Konoha of the parasites you mentioned—the Sarutobi and Shimura clans?"

Kirito tilted his head, looking at her with mild surprise. "I expected you to get angry and deny everything."

"Stop with the nonsense and answer me," Tsunade retorted, her tone flustered but still gentle.

Kirito shook his head. "Not entirely. Back then, Sarutobi Hiruzen and Danzo pushed the Uchiha clan to the brink, manipulating them into rebellion. The Uchiha were fragmented—most were plagued by arrogance or paranoia, with few who thought rationally. Sarutobi and Danzo exploited this, playing good cop and bad cop while secretly planning their eradication."

Tsunade's expression darkened. "Are you saying you were part of that plan?"
