Leaving Konoha?

Uchiha Shin and Uchiha Kinya exchanged a brief glance, their expressions subtle.

"Not yet!" Finally, Uchiha Kinya shook his head, directly rejecting Uchiha Furin's suggestion.

Leaving Konoha?

Now is not the time. Also, why should they leave Konoha? Why not the Sarutobi clan?

"But..." Uchiha Furin believed that they were being targeted by the Hokage in Konoha. Staying there might lead to more pressure from Sarutobi Hiruzen. The only thing they could do was leave Konoha.

"Konoha isn't Sarutobi's Konoha alone. It's not a place one Hokage can control!" Since Uchiha Kinya found out that Sarutobi Hiruzen was targeting the Uchiha clan, his perspective had shifted. "Besides, anyone can become Hokage!"

Heh, anyone can become Hokage. It's not Sarutobi Hiruzen's exclusive position; he could try for it too!

Moreover, the Sarutobi clan had already secretly made their move!

However, Uchiha Furin still couldn't fully understand. Leaving Konoha would free them from any restrictions, wouldn't that be more comfortable?

"We can't build our own village yet!" Uchiha Shin shook his head as well. He had no interest in the Hokage position, so he gave an example. "Do you remember the Uzushiogakure?"

Uzushiogakure?

Uchiha Furin, Uchiha Kinya, and even Genya all listened carefully.

"The Uzushiogakure was once incredibly powerful. Every member of the Uzumaki clan had chakra amounts several times that of ordinary ninjas, and they possessed formidable sealing techniques. They were a key ally to Konoha!" Uchiha Shin spoke slowly, but his tone became serious as he continued. 

"Yet, a few years ago, the Uzushiogakure was destroyed, with only a few survivors left of the Uzumaki clan."

To this day, no one knows the exact reason for the fall of the Uzumaki clan!

However, some speculate that the Uzumaki clan's immense strength made others wary, and they were eventually wiped out in a joint effort.

Genya guessed most of it, but Uchiha Furin took a deep breath, feeling the cold air.

He was only around eighteen or nineteen years old, and there were some things he didn't fully understand.

"So... many people are eyeing our Uchiha clan's eyes. What I mean is, when we don't have enough strength, we shouldn't show too much of our power. It could make others wary of us," Uchiha Shin said, looking at Uchiha Furin. "Once we become stronger, whether it's becoming Hokage or leaving Konoha, we can make our own choices!"

Uchiha Furin understood the implication and nodded quietly. "I understand, Lord Shin!"

As he spoke, he silently clenched his fist. He would train hard and become stronger!

"Our conversation ends here. After you leave, forget everything we discussed," Uchiha Shin reminded him and added, "Just focus on becoming stronger."

Uchiha Furin nodded in silence.

After watching Furin leave, Uchiha Kinya suddenly remembered something. "Son, I heard you've unlocked the fourth tomoe in your Sharingan? Come, let me see!"

Once the discussion was over, Uchiha Kinya returned to his usual unserious self!

Genya: "..."

The following days were uneasy for the Sarutobi clan!

It seemed like the Hokage was angry, but no one knew why. The Sarutobi clan didn't say anything about it either!

Yet, from time to time, ninjas from the Sarutobi clan would leave, as if searching for something.

Others didn't know, but Genya was clear. The team of Sarutobi Natsu hadn't returned yet, and there was no news. Sarutobi Hiruzen couldn't sit still anymore!

He sent people out to search!

However... it was all in vain.

The team of Sarutobi Natsu would never return.

"Genya... I'm here to see you!" On the edge of the river, Naruto looked at Genya, who was roasting fish, his eyes shining.

For some reason, Naruto felt closer to Genya lately. Before, it was an emotional closeness, but now, his body instinctively wanted to get closer to Genya!

It might be because Genya's cells had absorbed the Uzumaki cells.

Their interactions also became more intimate.

"Here, have some grilled fish!" Genya smiled and handed a fish to Naruto.

Naruto wasn't polite either as he took the drink and started talking about his recent experiences. Genya smiled and shared stories about the world outside of Konoha.

As they chatted, he pulled out some fruit wine!

"Genya, you really went to a ninja village in the desert?" Naruto asked, sipping his drink, his eyes full of curiosity as he looked at Genya.

"Yeah… I even met a kid similar to you," Genya replied, glancing at Naruto. "He was also shunned by others, and there's a huge creature living inside him!"

Naruto's eyes lit up with interest. "You think we could become friends?"

"Friend? Maybe," Genya said with a smile. "His name is Gaara."

"Gaara?" Naruto repeated, intrigued.

The two continued chatting and eating. As time passed, Naruto's mind began to wander, and Genya saw the opportunity. He entered Naruto's mental seal!

The moment he entered, the Nine-Tails opened its eyes.

"You brat actually came to see this great one!" the Nine-Tails sneered, eyeing Genya. However, after a quick inspection, it furrowed its brow. "Wait a minute… there's a trace of a tanuki's chakra on you. Did you meet One-tail Shukaku?"

"Yeah, I did. It asked me to drain your chakra!" Genya grinned at the thought of Shukaku's cute appearance.

"Haha… looks like Shukaku's still holding a grudge. What did he say? He, One Tail, is the weakest?" The Nine-Tails laughed loudly, mocking the other beast. But then, with a hint of nostalgia, it added, "How's he doing now?"

The Nine-Tails spoke with a certain fondness as it recalled the past.

After a short pause, it added, clearly a bit proud, "I just wanted to know how miserable he is. I'll have some jokes ready for him when we meet next time."

"Shukaku…" Genya paused briefly before continuing, "He's sealed too, but there's a flaw in his seal, and sometimes his chakra can come out for a little air."

Hearing this, the Nine-Tails' anger flared up, and its chakra surged uncontrollably!

Genya quickly reacted, using black flames to absorb the chakra.

The Nine-Tails paid no mind to it. Instead, it stared at Genya and said, "You damn ninjas… that bastard Hashirama and the Uchiha. I was once free…"

The Nine-Tails continued to rant, clearly showing its true nature.

Genya continued to absorb the Nine-Tails' chakra while listening to the Nine-Tails' complaints. From time to time, he even agreed with the Nine-Tails, expressing his full support for its views.

"You agree with my opinions?" The Nine-Tails asked in surprise.

"Hehe... Naturally," Genya smiled. "Do you know what people outside call you?"

"Call me what?" The Nine-Tails was confused.

"Fox Demon!" Genya answered seriously. "Some people refer to beings that can't be subdued or controlled as 'demons.' I can relate to that!"

"Like how your chakra is seen as evil in their eyes!"

"Fox Demon? Evil?" The Nine-Tails scoffed, curling its lip. "My chakra comes from the Ten-Tails. Sage of the Six Paths himself separated it. They call me a Fox Demon, evil? Then why did they seal me away?"

In the Nine-Tails' view, the ones who sealed him were the truly evil ones!

Just as Genya said, some people truly had no shame...
