Naruto: Dual System Power At The Beginning

Chapter 60: Chapter 60: The Messenger from the Hidden Cloud Village Arrives

After several hours of training, Ryosuke had essentially mastered the methods for performing all three illusions.

To be honest, with his current foundation, learning these three illusion techniques really isn't difficult.

As long as he diligently practices in the future, mastering them is only a matter of time.

His grandfather, seeing how quickly Ryosuke mastered the three illusions, felt not only surprised but also gratified.

Even the most difficult technique, Demonic Illusion: Shackling Stakes, had been learned.

His grandson truly had a talent for illusion techniques.

Perhaps it was precisely after that time when he fainted that he suddenly awakened his talent, unlocking the brain's limiter.

As his grandfather, he naturally hoped Ryosuke would grow up quickly.

Although he was no longer in charge of clan affairs, how could he not be aware of the family's situation?

Currently, the situation of the Uchiha clan wasn't looking very good.

The Konoha leadership was pressing them step by step. And the clan members were becoming increasingly dissatisfied.

As for whether the two sides could reconcile in the end, he felt the hope was rather slim.

That's because among Konoha's upper echelon, Danzo Shimura deeply disliked the Uchiha clan. It was he who strongly advocated for the clan's relocation.

This was essentially suppression.

If the Nine-Tails Incident was truly instigated by the Uchiha clan, what difference would it make whether they were in the village center or at its outskirts?

As long as that man was present, the possibility of reconciliation between the Uchiha clan and the Konoha leadership was extremely low.

Before leaving, Ryosuke asked his grandfather, "Grandfather, shouldn't the clan have even more powerful illusion techniques?"

Techniques like Izanagi, which could alter established reality, were not found in the pile of illusion scrolls.

Not even Izanami was there.

These two are the pinnacle of Sharingan illusion techniques.

If his grandfather didn't have them, then he could only seek them from the clan leader, Fugaku.

Hearing Ryosuke's question, his grandfather froze for a moment, surprised that Ryosuke even knew about stronger illusion techniques in the clan.

He sighed and said, "They do exist, but they've been lost, taken out of the village by the former clan leader, Uchiha Madara."

Ryosuke understood immediately upon hearing this.

"Well, that's unfortunate."

Though, in his heart, he didn't feel that much regret.

After all, these ultra-powerful Sharingan illusions cause blindness when used.

Of course, there are ways to counteract this defect.

One way is to transplant someone else's Sharingan, as both Uchiha Obito and Danzo Shimura did in the original storyline.

However, Ryosuke found the idea of transplanting someone else's eyes into himself rather disgusting.

As long as he became strong enough, he wouldn't need to learn these two techniques.

He looked at his grandfather and said,

"Then I'll head back to my room."

Time to focus on mastering the Fifth Gate of the Eight Gates.

His grandfather nodded.

There was no doubt that Ryosuke had already mastered the three illusion techniques, and further training would depend on his own efforts.

———

In the blink of an eye, seven days had passed.

The delegation from the Hidden Cloud Village, sent to negotiate peace, had arrived near the Hidden Leaf Village.

This time, it was Dodoi and the blonde-haired Samui leading the group. They were accompanied by only four other ninjas.

After all, the primary goal of this visit wasn't peace negotiations but abducting Hyuga Hinata, the eldest daughter of the Hyuga clan, to breed and establish their own Hyuga clan in the Hidden Cloud Village.

So once they succeeded in kidnapping Hinata, they would need to retreat immediately.

Fewer people would make it easier to escape.

To their surprise, as they neared the Hidden Leaf Village, they could already see an elderly man wearing a Hokage robe, accompanied by a group of ninjas in green vests, waiting for them from a distance.

There was even a banner outside the village gates that read, "Welcome Hidden Cloud Village Delegates."

Dodoi's face couldn't help but show a hint of amusement.

"Just as the Fourth Raikage said, the Third Hokage really is weak and spineless, with no sense of authority."

"Anyone who didn't know better would think the relationship between the Hidden Cloud Village and Hidden Leaf Village was extremely friendly."

"If it weren't for the plan to kidnap Hinata and carry out the breeding program, the peace talks would surely have been held in the Hidden Cloud Village, giving these Leaf ninjas a proper show of strength."

Samui fully agreed with Dodoi's words.

Many ninjas from the Hidden Cloud Village had died in the war, but the fighting had reached a stalemate, forcing them into peace talks.

With the Fourth Raikage's temper, he certainly wouldn't show any friendliness toward the enemy.

However, this warm welcome from the Leaf Village indicated they were basking in the joy of peace.

This increased the likelihood that their plan would succeed.

When they reached the gates of the Hidden Leaf Village, the Third Hokage, upon seeing their attire, immediately recognized them as Hidden Cloud ninjas here for peace negotiations.

With a smile, he said, "Welcome, everyone. The peace agreement signing ceremony will take place the day after tomorrow."

"In the meantime, feel free to explore the Hidden Leaf Village."

In the eyes of the Third Hokage, the Hidden Leaf Village was far more prosperous than the Hidden Cloud Village.

The Hidden Cloud was located in the highlands of the north, while the Hidden Leaf thrived in the plains.

Letting the delegates witness the strength of the Hidden Leaf Village would hopefully ensure no trouble arose during the peace agreement signing.

Dodoi, masking his previous disdain, responded respectfully,

"What the Hokage says is true. We look forward to the day after tomorrow."

"Of course, since this is a rare opportunity to visit the Hidden Leaf Village, we will make the most of it to explore."

The Third Hokage, pleased with their attitude, turned to Kakashi and instructed,

"Kakashi, take these delegates to the luxurious inn we've prepared for them."

"Yes, Lord Hokage."

Kakashi complied.

Dodoi then said, "Thank you for the Hokage's arrangements."

The Third Hokage, seeing their friendly demeanor, felt even more assured.

It seemed they had been frightened by the war.

After Kakashi led the Hidden Cloud delegation to their accommodations, he returned to the Hokage's office to report.

Once Kakashi was gone, Dodoi's expression immediately changed, a smirk forming on his lips.

'Such weak Leaf ninjas, nothing like the strong and imposing Second Hokage's era.'
