Chapter 72: Chapter 10:Yuto's Rizz Potential!
"Fuu, I need you to open this cocoon for me," Yuto said, his voice steady despite the pain seeping through his body.
Fuu hesitated, her eyes filled with concern. "Are you sure? You're not in any condition to fight, and you need to recover."
Yuto met her gaze with determination. "I understand your worry, but we don't have time. Kakuzu is still out there, and if we wait, it could mean disaster—for you and for Naruko." He paused before adding, "I trust you, Fuu. And I need you to trust me too."
Her face softened at his words, and she nodded. "Alright, Yuto. I trust you." With a single hand sign, she released the cocoon.
Yuto flinched as the cool air hit his injuries. A sharp pain rippled through his body, but he gritted his teeth. 'I can't let this stop me.' His Kamigan activated, glowing faintly as his vision filled with the familiar streams of information copied by his scanner ability. He scanned through the abilities he'd copied earlier, settling on one he recognized from Kakashi Sensei.
"Mystical Palm Jutsu," he muttered, focusing his chakra into his hands. A soft green glow emanated from his palms as he attempted to heal himself. His breathing grew labored as he pushed the jutsu to its limit. Beads of sweat trickled down his forehead as the sharp pull of chakra depletion struck him.
'Damn it! I don't have enough chakra for this,' he thought, his jaw tightening. He turned his gaze to Fuu, his expression a mixture of guilt and hesitation. "Fuu, I hate to ask this of you, but… could you lend me some chakra? I can absorb it, and I promise I won't take more than necessary. I wouldn't ask, but I can't let Kakuzu get to you—or Naruko."
Fuu blinked, surprised by his request, but then her lips curled into a gentle smile. "Yuto, you're my friend. You called me that earlier, and I've never had someone treat me like that before. Friends help each other, right? Don't hesitate to rely on me."
Her words brought a smile to Yuto's face. "Thank you, Fuu." He lifted his trembling hand, and Fuu grasped it without hesitation.
A warm flow of chakra passed between them as Yuto began to absorb it. Fuu felt the gentle tug of her chakra being transferred, but it was so gradual that her natural reserves—boosted by the seven-tails—quickly replenished.
Yuto's body began to glow faintly as he channeled the absorbed chakra into his healing. Instead of focusing it solely in his hands, he let the mystical green energy spread throughout his entire body. Gradually, the deeper injuries began to mend, the pain receding as his muscles repaired themselves, his burn marks healing as well.
Fuu watched him with awe. "You're incredible, Yuto," she said softly.
Yuto exhaled slowly, a small smile forming on his lips. "I couldn't have done this without you, Fuu."
She nodded, her heart swelling with an unfamiliar warmth. In that moment, she felt truly seen and valued, a feeling she'd long been denied.
As Yuto continued to heal with Fuu's assistance, Naruko, Hitomi, and Kakashi stirred within their cocoons. Fuu noticed their movement and formed a quick hand sign, signaling the cocoon jutsu to release. She knew the trio didn't sustain much injuries unlike yuto and had healed to almost full health now. The fibrous layers unraveled, revealing the trio.
Naruko groaned, rubbing her arms. "What happened? Where are we?"
Hitomi eyed Fuu warily. "And who's this?"
Kakashi steadied himself with effort. "Relax. She's not an enemy, i saw her save us." he said, though his gaze lingered on Fuu in silent assessment.
Fuu, sensing their unease but unaware of their thoughts, smiled warmly. "I'm Fuu, from the Hidden Waterfall Village. I brought you here after saving you from Kakuzu. You were all injured, so I used my Insect Style: Healing Cocoon Jutsu to help you recover."
Naruko blinked, then looked at Yuto, noticing his hand still clasped with Fuu's. Her expression tightened briefly before softening. "You… saved us?"
Fuu nodded. "I couldn't just stand by and do nothing when you were risking your lives for my village." she then looked at Yuto. "He was in the worst condition, so I've been helping him heal directly. He also told me about Kakuzu's motives."
Yuto, his voice still faint but steady, added, "She saved all of us. If she hadn't acted, Kakuzu might've captured Naruko or killed Kakashi Sensei."
Naruko flinched, her fingers tightening into fists. "Captured me? That bastard…"
Hitomi frowned. "Why would he—?" Then both Kakashi and Hitomi's eyes widened with realization. "The Nine-Tails…"
Fuu's gaze darted between them, her expression serious. "Yuto said as much. Kakuzu wasn't just after your sensei's bounty. He was after me too… because I'm a Jinchuriki like Naruko." Her voice faltered slightly on the last word.
Naruko stared at her, speechless for a moment. "You're… like me?"
Fuu nodded hesitantly, her expression guarded.
Yuto, his voice faint but steady, added, "If it weren't for her, Kakuzu might've captured or killed us all. She is also someone I consider a friend now."
Naruko turned to Fuu with a grateful smile. "You're not just a friend. You're my sister now!"
Fuu blinked, taken aback. "Sister?"
"Yeah," Naruko said firmly, "We're both Jinchuriki, right? That means we stick together, no matter what."
Fuu's eyes shimmered with surprise and gratitude. "Sister…" she whispered, as if testing the word. Then she smiled broadly. "Thank you."
As they exchanged smiles, Fuu caught the tension in Naruko and Hitomi's earlier stiff words and their occasional glances at her hand still holding Yuto's. 'Why are they acting so strange? Is it because I'm holding his hand? But it feels good to hold his hand. I wonder why?' she wondered, completely clueless to the situation, much like certain oblivious harem protagonists.
Kakashi, meanwhile, leaned back against the wall, observing quietly. 'Yuto managed to charm Fuu and she is even holding his hand within hours of meeting him without any discomfort, even if it is for his treatment. And neither of them even realizes it. This kid's "rizz" potential.....i need to let Jiraya Sensei meet Yuto to teach him properly about handling ladies.' He sighed internally. 'Naruko and Hitomi might kill him before Kakuzu does if this keeps up though.'
