Chapter 133: Obito, Don't Panic! Revive the Ten-Tails, and You'll Be Unstoppable!

From the moment the explosions rocked the village, chaos consumed Konoha. The streets were filled with screams, cries, and the desperate clamor of people fleeing for their lives. What was once a bustling and lively village was reduced to a war-torn wasteland in mere moments.

Amid the chaos, Jiraiya struggled to maintain order. Spread too thin, he could only focus on organizing the evacuation of the village's young genin. His efforts to assist elsewhere were thwarted as he became locked in battle with Itachi Uchiha, Kisame Hoshigaki, and Zabuza Momochi, leaving him no opportunity to provide reinforcements.

Meanwhile, ninjas from other villages, seeing Konoha's state of disarray, began harboring opportunistic thoughts. Though they feigned neutrality on the surface, many dispatched covert operatives to loot Konoha's secret archives, hoping to claim valuable scrolls, forbidden techniques, and other treasures.

Even when Konoha's defenders caught wind of these schemes, they were powerless to intervene. Their forces were stretched far too thin.

Adding to the turmoil, numerous summoned creatures roamed the village, wreaking havoc without restraint.

---

"Damn it! Stop this, you monsters!"

Watching Konoha crumble, Naruto Uzumaki's young heart burned with fury and anguish. Unable to stand idle, he leapt from the evacuation line, charging toward a massive three-headed wolf wreaking destruction.

Naruto summoned a shadow clone, which began molding chakra into his palm, forming a small, glowing blue sphere.

"Rasengan!"

As Naruto approached the three-headed wolf, the beast didn't take him seriously. It barely reacted, assuming the small human posed no threat.

That was its fatal mistake.

Naruto's Rasengan struck the wolf squarely, causing its massive body to twist and spiral uncontrollably before being flung into the air.

The scene left the surrounding onlookers in stunned silence.

"Amazing!" exclaimed Rock Lee, his body still recovering from the effects of the Eight Gates. He couldn't help but admire Naruto's strength.

"Naruto's gotten so strong... Meanwhile, I feel like I'm the weakest one here," muttered Sakura Haruno from the sidelines. Watching Naruto shine, she felt a pang of inadequacy.

"With how ordinary I am... how can I ever hope to be worthy of Sasuke?"

For a brief moment, Sakura resolved to change. No longer could she afford to remain stagnant.

While Naruto's performance earned him praise from others, Sasuke Uchiha merely observed with indifference.

"Hmph. Not bad," he thought, though he quickly dismissed it. "But compared to me, he's still miles away."

---

"Yare yare," a voice interrupted.

"Wooden-leaf genin are really something. To think he could take down one of Obito's summoning beasts! That's impressive!"

Emerging from the shadows were Hidan and Kakuzu, their eyes fixed on Naruto.

"You jerks... Was all this destruction your doing?" Naruto demanded, his voice shaking with a mix of anger and determination.

"That's right, Nine-Tails brat," Hidan sneered. "Now, you have two choices: come quietly, or let us beat you half to death and drag you back."

Hidan's twisted grin widened. Had it not been for the Akatsuki's orders to preserve the Jinchūriki, he would have already offered Naruto as a sacrifice to his god.

"Go to hell!"

Fueled by rage, Naruto launched himself at Hidan. However, his movements were wild and unrefined, making him an easy target.

Hidan sidestepped Naruto's punch with ease. With a sadistic smirk, he kicked Naruto hard in the stomach, sending him flying.

Despite his Uzumaki lineage and the healing factor granted by the Nine-Tails, Naruto's young body was still fragile. The blow left him coughing up blood, his internal organs screaming in pain as he struggled to move.

"Naruto!"

The sight of Naruto crumpled on the ground shocked his fellow genin.

"Sakura, check on Naruto! Everyone else, follow my lead!"

Taking command, Shikamaru Nara quickly rallied the group. He understood the Akatsuki's fearsome reputation but knew they had no choice but to fight.

The genin's faces hardened with resolve. Though outmatched, they wouldn't back down without a fight.

---

"Tsk. If only we'd acted decisively from the start, we'd already have the Nine-Tails," Hidan complained. "Why do villains always waste time talking? It's such a cliché."

"Don't you agree, Obito?"

High atop the Hokage Rock, Yi Uchiha stood, arms crossed, addressing the space around him. His tone was casual, almost mocking.

The air behind him rippled, and Obito Uchiha, clad in his signature mask, emerged from a distortion in space.

"How did you know I was here?" Obito's voice was cold, his single Rinnegan and Mangekyō Sharingan glaring at Yi through his mask.

If Yi had guessed his location, Obito wouldn't be concerned. But if Yi had somehow sensed him, it would undermine the very advantage of his Kamui ability.

"Shouldn't you be helping your team?" Yi ignored the question, his smirk widening. "Once Orochimaru summons the First and Second Hokage with Edo Tensei, capturing the Nine-Tails will be the least of your worries."

Obito's silence was telling.

"Don't panic, Obito," Yi continued, his tone almost mocking. "Once you gather all nine tailed beasts and revive the Ten-Tails, you'll be unstoppable. You'll have no reason to fear me then, right?"

Obito's fists clenched.

"With the power of the Rinnegan, I don't fear you now," he retorted.

Yi shrugged. "We'll see. By the way, I'm thinking of killing Itachi soon. You wouldn't happen to have a problem with that, would you?"

Obito's silence spoke volumes.
