A group of Konoha ninjas raced through the rain, their expressions grim. One by one, they pulled out their kunai and shuriken, preparing for battle.

Their leader, Uchiha Shirou, wasted no time. He barked coldly:

"Fire a signal flare. Let our comrades in the valley know reinforcements have arrived!"

Before Shirou's words had completely fallen, Yashiro, who was by his side, had already fired a brilliant signal flare into the sky.

Even under the overcast, rainy sky, the flare—unique to Konoha reinforcements—was unmistakably bright.

"Lady Katsuyu, this is the first time I've summoned you for battle," Shirou said calmly.

Katsuyu's gentle voice echoed, "I didn't think you'd see me as anything but a healer."

The three great summoning creatures—Toads, Snakes, and Slugs—were widely known. Most believed Katsuyu was purely a medical summoning beast, but few realized the acidic slime she sprayed was so potent that even Manda (the giant snake) avoided confronting her head-on.

The raging golden sand surged like a flood, but Katsuyu's massive body clung to the mountainside, merely swaying slightly.

At that moment, a Sand Ninja sensory type suddenly opened his eyes in alarm and shouted:

"Captain Rasa, look out above us!"

Rasa instinctively looked up and saw a hawk diving through the rainy clouds. On its back were three figures, weaving hand signs.

The three figures were Uchiha Shirou, Uzumaki Kushina, and Uchiha Mikoto.

Though Kushina wasn't particularly skilled in Wind Release, her massive chakra reserves turned quantity into quality. Razor-sharp wind blades slashed through the golden sand defense, creating openings.

Mikoto followed up with Fire Release, spewing fireballs through the gaps in the sand. The coordinated attack left no room for recovery.

Finally, Shirou unleashed his B-rank Lightning Release technique—a lightning spear with immense piercing power. Enhanced by the rain, it struck directly at Rasa.

The seamless combination of the three different elemental jutsu was a display of perfect teamwork, forcing Rasa to shout:

"Be careful, everyone! These enemies are…"

His warning was cut short as lightning flashed. A streak of blood sprayed through the air. Rasa's pupils shrank as he saw a blade, crackling with lightning chakra, pierce through his gold sand shield.

If he hadn't dodged in time, the blade would have done more than just graze his shoulder.

Blood dripped from his shoulder as Rasa retreated, his gold sand crumbling under the relentless lightning. Standing before him was Uchiha Shirou, his blade glowing faintly with lightning chakra.

"So, you're Rasa of the Sand Village."

Gazing at the blood on his Kusanagi Sword, UShirou's eyes flickered with disappointment. Without hesitation, he charged toward Rasa.

Boom!

Explosions erupted as Uchiha Mikoto hurled kunai adorned with explosive tags. The Sand Ninjas, who had been on the offensive, were now scrambling to defend.

Meanwhile, the Konoha ninjas used the chaos to leap up the valley, engaging the Sand Ninjas in close combat.

The tides had turned.

"Attack!"

 "Wipe out the Sand Ninjas!"

The Konoha ninjas roared as they launched their assault.

From the beginning, this had been their plan. When the Sand Ninjas used their advantageous position to attack, Shirou summoned Katsuyu to draw their attention while simultaneously summoning a flying beast.

Using the smoke from Katsuyu's summoning as cover, they concealed their airborne assault. The arrival of Katsuyu shocked the Sand Ninjas, perfectly diverting their focus.

The aerial attack from the hawk allowed Shirou to leap down unnoticed, targeting the Sand Ninja commander directly.

With his Lightning Release weakening Rasa's defenses and his Kusanagi enhanced by chakra, Shirou managed to wound Rasa. Meanwhile, Mikoto's explosive tag barrage gave the Konoha ninjas enough time to seize the high ground.

The meticulous plan worked flawlessly, turning defense into offense. The Sand Ninjas, having lost their positional advantage, were now in disarray.

As for the flying summoning beast, Uchiha Mikoto had acquired it through her clan after an earlier mission in the Land of Grass. By chance, it turned out to be the same hawk Sasuke would later summon in the future.

Though the hawk lacked offensive capabilities, its rarity as a flying summon gave the Konoha ninjas a significant advantage.
