Naruto: I Kizaru Took Over Team 7

Chapter 38: Kuranai in Danger.

Itachi did not halt his actions despite Naruto's desperate cry.

He approached Sasuke, who was lying helplessly on the ground.

Sasuke attempted to use the kunai in his hand to push himself up.

Itachi lowered his head, extending his palm with purple nails.

"Crack!"

With a sharp sound, Sasuke's arm, still clutching the weapon, snapped abruptly.

A heart-wrenching wail echoed through the jungle.

*Bang!*

The kunai slipped from Sasuke's hand and clattered to the ground.

Naruto, witnessing his partner's suffering, was ready to use ninjutsu to intervene.

However, Kisame, who had been watching the scene, swiftly moved to block him.

He kicked Naruto, sending him sprawling to the ground.

A wave of despair washed over Naruto, rendering him powerless.

He had no strength to rise.

Tears streamed from Naruto's deep blue eyes as his hands slammed against the earth.

"No..." he muttered, unable to accept the sight.

Kurenai Yuhi, witnessing the scene, hesitated. She considered stepping in, but Kisame blocked her path, his gaze fierce.

She met his gaze, her lips trembling slightly, fear overtaking her. For a moment, Kurenai didn't know what to do.

Meanwhile, Itachi stood over Sasuke, who still writhed in pain.

"Ah…"

Sasuke cried out as Itachi, with no sign of emotion, yanked him up by his broken arm.

A swift kick sent Sasuke crashing into a nearby tree. Yet, Itachi wasn't done. He walked toward him again, seemingly dissatisfied.

Seeing this brutality, Kurenai could no longer hold back.

"He is your brother!" she cried out, her voice strained.

Itachi ignored her.

Kisame chuckled mockingly. "Tsk tsk tsk. Do you really think a man who killed his own parents would care about his brother?"

Itachi paid no attention to the comments around him. He approached Sasuke again, one hand gripping his neck, forcing him to lean against the tree.

A punch slammed into Sasuke's abdomen, ensuring he wouldn't pass out.

A cold voice hissed in his ear: "You are weak. Why are you still so weak? Because you don't hate me enough."

Sasuke, wracked with pain, coughed up blood, but his eyes burned with hatred.

In spite of his suffering, his murderous intent was unmistakable.

Itachi's voice then grew louder, more commanding: "Become stronger. Come, kill me!"

As the words fell, Itachi's Sharingan spun into action. The three magatama began to merge, forming the blade-like shape of the Mangekyō Sharingan.

The next moment, Itachi's gaze locked onto Sasuke's partially open eyes.

He activated Tsukuyomi.

Sasuke's expression dulled as he sank into the illusion.

Within his mind, he found himself in a black-and-white world—the Uchiha clan's mansion, now eerily quiet. Blood and corpses littered the ground.

Itachi released his grip, and Sasuke collapsed to the ground, still caught in the illusion.

Naruto, witnessing Sasuke's tears fall, clenched his fists in rage. His eyes burned with hatred, and his hands struck the earth.

*Bang! Bang! Bang!*

In the depths of Naruto's mind, an unfamiliar voice echoed.

"Are you angry, kid?"

"Thirsty for power?"

On an endless stretch of water, Naruto found himself inside a massive dark cage, hearing the haunting, coaxing voices.

"Feeling powerless?"

"Want my power? Come here, and I'll give it to you!"

Meanwhile, Sakura rushed back to the village, navigating the bustling crowd. As she neared Chu Feng's house, she collided with a man with silver hair.

A book dropped from her hands and fell to the ground.

Looking up, she saw Kakashi standing before her, his brow furrowed in confusion.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

Sakura's face brightened at the sight of him. She quickly explained, "Teacher Kakashi, Teacher Yuhi Kurenai and the others are in danger outside Konoha Village."

Kakashi frowned, a hint of concern in his eyes. "An S-rank rogue ninja is outside the village?"

"Yes," Sakura replied urgently, "Please go, and I'll inform Teacher Chu Feng."

With that, Sakura disappeared into the crowd.

Kakashi narrowed his eyes. Without hesitation, he tucked the children's book away and made his way toward the village outskirts.

Outside the village, Naruto, still kneeling on the ground, let out an enraged roar.

"I... I will kill you."

A surge of chakra exploded from his body, sending waves crashing around him.

His fingers elongated into sharp claws, his teeth bared, and his eyes seemed to lose their sanity.

He rose, his body rapidly recovering from the earlier blows.

A monstrous chakra aura, reminiscent of a demon fox, began to form above him.

Kisame, watching from the side, grinned in amusement.

"Tsk tsk tsk," he said. "A murderous aura. He's completely different now."

As Naruto stood, the intense chakra surrounding him was palpable.

"Is this the power extracted from the tailed beast?" Kisame mused, undeterred.

Naruto charged toward Itachi, but Kisame stepped in his way, blocking his path.

For Naruto, this was inconsequential. They were all enemies to be destroyed.

His claws tore into Kisame's body, but Kisame swiftly countered with a punch that sent him reeling.

Still, the chakra surrounding Naruto blocked the blow.

Kisame frowned, but Naruto's claws reached his face again, forcing Kisame to raise his foot and kick Naruto into the air.

Kisame then swung the bandaged sword, Samehada, at Naruto.

*Bang!*

Naruto slammed into the ground, and the blade's tip opened, revealing its monstrous mouth.

Samehada began to absorb the Nine-Tails chakra emanating from Naruto, draining him.

Naruto's transformation slowly faded, leaving him weakened and lying on the ground, powerless.

Kisame's eyes gleamed with satisfaction as he absorbed the chakra.

"Thank you for the delicious meal," he said with a smirk.

Nearby, Sasuke remained kneeling, caught in the grip of Tsukuyomi, reliving the massacre of the Uchiha clan.

The blood-soaked mansion appeared before him, the bodies of his clan members scattered in pools of blood.

"No... Uncle," Sasuke whispered, disbelief in his eyes.

He stumbled toward his home, but as he entered the room, a scene of horror awaited him.

Two figures lay on the floor, blood streaming from their bodies.

The man, holding a bloodied blade, advanced toward Sasuke, his eyes cold.

Sasuke cried out in fear, "No... Don't kill me!"

Itachi's voice echoed through the illusion: "You are worthless, my brother. You don't deserve to be killed by me. Live. Ugly."

Sasuke's mind was overwhelmed with images of the massacre, of his family's death.

Back in reality, Sasuke's eyes shifted from his normal state to the second magatama of his Sharingan.

The image of the massacre replayed in his mind.

"Ahhhhhh..." he screamed, his voice a tortured wail.

His Sharingan evolved, the third magatama emerging.

"I will kill you, Itachi."

"I will become stronger. I will become stronger at all costs."

In Konoha, a man wearing sunglasses calmly walked through the bustling streets.

This was Chu Feng, on his way to seek vengeance against Danzo.

Despite the gravity of his mission, Chu Feng moved at a leisurely pace, enjoying the sunshine and the lively street atmosphere.

As he strolled, he sensed the hurried footsteps of his disciple, Xiaoying, approaching.

She appeared before him, her face fraught with urgency.

"Teacher Chu Feng," she began, "We've encountered enemies outside Konoha Village."

"Teacher Yuhi Kurenai is in danger."

"Sasuke said one of them is an S-rank rogue ninja, and they're confronting Teacher Kurenai outside the village."

"Sasuke told me to warn you."

Upon hearing this, Chu Feng's expression darkened. He immediately understood the identities of the attackers and his heart sank.
