Naruto: Marrying Kushina Uzumaki From The Start!

Chapter 51: Bold Move From Kushina

Yoruichi's sudden release of a murderous aura stunned everyone.

His charred fingers twitched, and the burnt skin peeled off, revealing smooth, unblemished flesh beneath.

The damage from the flames seemed non-existent, as if it had never happened.

This was the result of a superhuman regeneration ability enhanced by Sage Mode, similar to the power of Hashirama Senju.

Ordinary flames couldn't harm Yoruichi.

Mito Uzumaki stared at Yoruichi in his Sage Mode, momentarily dazed. This brief lapse in focus disrupted the seal within her body.

A terrifying, malevolent chakra erupted from Mito's body. The dense and oppressive energy of the Nine-Tails' chakra became almost tangible, pressing down on everything around it.

Her body began to shift and transform, with nine tails starting to emerge.

She was on the verge of becoming the full Nine-Tails.

"Hahaha, I'm finally free!" roared the Nine-Tails through Mito. "Forty years of imprisonment, and now I will destroy all of Hashirama and Ashina's descendants!"

Fighting against the takeover, Mito yelled, "Kushina! Come quickly! I'll help you seal it before it's too late!"

Yoruichi watched Mito struggle, his heart sinking. Even if they successfully transferred the Nine-Tails, what would happen to Mito herself?

Kushina was panicking, tears welling in her eyes. She felt utterly helpless.

Yoruichi clenched his fists. Seeing Kushina like this pained him. Without hesitation, he weaved hand signs, unleashing an immense surge of Sage Chakra, vast and overwhelming.

Then, he called forth the legendary Wood-Style technique:

"Sage Art: Wood Release—True Several Thousand Hands!"

Earlier, Yoruichi had used the Wood Golem Technique. But this was far beyond that—a supreme evolution of the Wood Golem.

A massive Buddha-like statue towered above everything. The Wood Golem was dwarfed, sitting atop the statue's head, making it seem like a mere accessory.

The enormous Buddha, with countless hands extending in all directions, loomed like a mountain.

Danzo reacted quickly. "Mitokado!" he shouted, pulling Homura Mitokado out of harm's way as the ground beneath them cracked and collapsed.

The sheer presence of the Buddha statue crushed everything in its vicinity.

One of the statue's massive hands brushed against Koharu Utatane, sending her flying. Blood splattered as she hit the ground, gravely injured.

Minato Namikaze and Sakumo Hatake retreated hurriedly, their expressions pale.

"This... is beyond comprehension," Minato muttered. He recalled the destruction he had seen earlier and realized it was likely caused by this colossal statue.

Sakumo, on the other hand, remembered stories of Hashirama from his childhood—tales of battles so powerful they reshaped the land itself.

"Could this be the legendary Sage Jutsu of Hashirama Senju?" he murmured.

The Four Violet Flames Formation, created by four elite Jonin, shattered instantly under the statue's overwhelming pressure. The four ninja coughed up blood, retreating in terror.

"Is... is this even a fight we can win?" one of them stammered.

The Nine-Tails, so close to breaking free, froze in its tracks. It saw the Buddha statue and faltered, its once-mighty aura shrinking as fear took hold.

Inside Mito's mind, the Nine-Tails had already torn through much of the seal. Half its body was free. But the moment it saw the towering Buddha, it instinctively recoiled.

The memory of Hashirama's overwhelming power resurfaced in its mind, and it couldn't help but shudder.

Seizing this moment, Mito tightened the seal, re-locking the beast. The Nine-Tails howled in frustration.

"No! I was so close!" it screamed, desperately clawing at the gates of the seal.

But Mito's strength was waning. Her face grew pale, and her hands trembled. She was far from the powerhouse she had been in her youth. Still, she gritted her teeth, determined to protect Konoha for as long as possible.

She glanced at Yoruichi, standing atop the giant statue, and felt a wave of relief.

For a moment, Hashirama's image overlapped with Yoruichi's.

"Hashirama," she whispered. "Did you see this? Your legacy lives on."

She believed Yoruichi was the reincarnation of her husband. There was no other explanation for his mastery of the same Wood-Style techniques.

Meanwhile, Kushina stared in awe at the enormous Buddha. She barely had time to react before a massive wooden hand gently lowered itself in front of her.

Gritting her teeth, she leapt onto the hand, which lifted her high into the air.

Hundreds of meters above the ground, she felt her heart race. The view was dizzying, yet breathtaking.

Before she could fully process it, she felt arms wrap around her.

"Are you okay, Kushina?" Yoruichi asked softly.

Kushina trembled, tears streaming down her face. She nodded. "I'm fine."

Yoruichi held her tightly. "I'm here now. No one will hurt you."

Overcome with emotion, Kushina turned and kissed him deeply.
