Naruto Multiverse

Chapter 108: Original Epilogue

The world around Naruto was a fractured dreamscape, shaped by his grief and delusions. As he awoke, the warmth of familiarity surrounded him, and for a fleeting moment, he believed everything was right. Hima was there, his family was there, and life was beautiful once again.

But when his eyes met the face of the woman who had embraced him, his joy turned to confusion. Hinata. She was alive, holding him with tears staining her face, as though nothing had ever changed.

"I missed you so much," she whispered, her voice filled with longing.

Naruto's heart raced, his mind struggling to make sense of it. "Miss me? But we just slept for the night. You silly goose."

Hinata smiled softly, but it was a sad smile. "Who am I?" She held his face, as though searching for something in his eyes.

It took a moment for Naruto to truly see her, for his sleep to fade, and reality to settle in. When it did, panic gripped him. "What are you doing here? You're dead, leave now."

Hinata's face twisted in shock, and Naruto's gaze followed hers to the skeletal remains of Hima in his arms. The sight of the lifeless form, so small and fragile, brought an overwhelming wave of pain. The truth—his daughter was gone. She had perished, and he had been left to carry the weight of her death alone.

The grief hit him like a physical blow. "No, NO, YOU'RE lying! Disappear, disappear from my sight!"

Hinata's eyes softened with sadness, but she didn't step away. "Naruto, come to your senses. This is the reality."

"I reject your reality, I reject it!" Naruto's voice cracked with the intensity of his pain. "This is a dream. I reject this world. My world is with Hima."

His powers, drawn from the depths of his despair, responded to his words. The energy around him surged as his emotions took control. A new world, a place born from his deepest desires, began to form around him—a sanctuary where he could escape the painful truth and live in his fantasy.

Hinata stood frozen, unable to tear her gaze away from the transformation. She watched, helpless, as Naruto's mind twisted in grief, unraveling further. The world he was creating seemed real, a reflection of his desperate need to shield himself from the anguish of loss. The illusion was beautiful, but it was built on broken foundations.

Hinata knew the truth, and it crushed her. She had waited for him, patiently, for fifty years. She had broken into this broken dimension just to be near him again. She had waited, fulfilling her duties, hoping for a reunion. But now, it was clear that the man she loved was lost to his insanity.

Tears welled up in her eyes, but there was no turning back. She could not save him.

Her thoughts darkened. What if I killed him? she thought. Then we could join in death. Together, at last.

The thought lingered for a moment, but she shook her head. She couldn't do it. Not after everything. Not after all the years of waiting. The world they had once shared had been shattered, and now, the only thing left was the man who had lost his way.

"Mistress," a voice called out from the shadows. "Do we wake him?"

Hinata paused for a moment before replying, her voice filled with finality. "No, from now on, let him sleep. No one shall enter his dimension again."

She turned away, her heart heavy with the weight of the decision. One last glance at the world Naruto had created for himself—a world filled with delusion—and she walked away, leaving him in his broken paradise.

For Naruto, the world had ceased to exist in any meaningful way. He had saved it, but the cost had been too great. His mind, unable to cope with the loss of Hima, had turned inward, creating a false reality where he could live in bliss, free from the pain of the past. In that false world, Hima was alive, and the family he longed for was whole.

But in the end, it was all just a dream—a dream that could never come true.

"Come on, Daddy, we need to go for the movie," a voice echoed in the distance.

Naruto smiled faintly, oblivious to the world beyond his delusion, as he replied, "Wait, let me get ready."

And so, in his fractured mind, Naruto continued to live, trapped in a world that could never be real.
