Naruto Returns From the Genshin Impact World

Chapter 250: Chapter 250: The Fisher of All Things.

  "Oh, it hasn't?"

Tsunade instantly lost interest. Although she grew up in Konohagakure, for some reasons, she didn't particularly like Konohagakure and even wanted to stay away from it.

If it weren't for her massive debts and Jiraiya's sincerity, which was too great, she would never have agreed to return to Konohagakure.

Since she had agreed, she would have to help out a little, right? She had to at least show that intention. She could find an excuse to sneak away later, but she couldn't just run away directly. That would be truly unscrupulous.

If she did that, and Jiraiya decided not to help her with her gambling debts and not to fund her a penny more, she would be in a lot of trouble.

"Tsunade-sama..."

Shizune was Tsunade's apprentice, and no one knew better than her what Tsunade was thinking. But precisely because she knew, she felt uneasy.

"Ah, I know, I know!"

Tsunade said impatiently, waving her hand.

"Buzz"

Suddenly, an invisible fluctuation rippled in the distance, like a muffled thunder roaring in everyone's hearts, a substantial hurricane blew, and an oppressive feeling of suffocation descended.

Something terrifying was coming!

"Is it an enemy attack?"

Tsunade clenched her fists in secret, her heart extremely tense. At this moment, she had not yet overcome her hemophobia, and battles were likely to involve bloodshed. Once real combat began, she might become a burden to Jiraiya due to her hemophobia.

Jiraiya and Shizune did not answer, but silently stood on either side in front of Tsunade, vigilantly watching their surroundings, guarding against any enemies that might appear at any moment.

"Tap! Tap!"

The crisp sound of footsteps arose, and a person in white, carrying a fishing rod and basket, slowly walked out. He didn't care if he would expose himself by doing so. He walked with a proud and unrestrained gait, step by step from the horizon to the front, revealing a sneer as if a deity looked down upon ants.

"Who are you?"

Jiraiya formed a hand seal with one hand, concentrating his chakra while asking.

"Me? Heh, I am Otsutsuki Urashiki, standing high above, fishing for all the world's wonders," said the white-robed fisherman with a defiant smile.

He was well aware of what the Otsutsuki Urashiki from another world was like. Of course, that was the Urashiki of another world, not theirs. So, a slight difference in his portrayal of Urashiki shouldn't be a problem, right?

After all, they've all ended up like this~

"Urashiki?"

Jiraiya's head buzzed. Although he didn't know who Urashiki was, the oppressive aura emanating from the man was immense, and the power fluctuations from those pale eyes were terrifying.

Damn, who has Konohagakure provoked this time?

They had just finished rebuilding, and now it might get destroyed again! The house I bought before leaving probably isn't even renovated yet, don't mess with me like this!

"Otsutsuki? Those Byakugan, shouldn't you be from the Hyuga clan?" Tsunade retorted.

"They dare call those Byakugan?"

'Urashiki' scoffed disdainfully.

"Hmm?"

Tsunade sensed something was amiss. These so-called Otsutsuki Urashikis seemed to know of the Hyuga clan but looked down on them with contempt, as if there was some connection between their pale eyes, but the difference in strength was so vast that they disdained the Hyuga.

Legend has it that Rikudou Sennin's surname was Otsutsuki. Could it be that there was some special relationship between him and Rikudou Sennin? Were the Byakugan also related to Rikudou Sennin?

"What is your purpose in coming to Konohagakure?" Jiraiya asked gravely.

"Heh."

'Urashiki' chuckled, looking at Jiraiya, whose wariness was at its peak, and replied, "Fishing."

"Fishing for what?"

Jiraiya pressed on.

"Look, the fish are talking."

'Urashiki' picked up the red fishing rod, and with a burst of laughter, aimed it at the three people before him and cast his line.

He sat proudly at the edge of the sky, the red fishing line descending from above, the hook shooting straight towards its target as if it had a will of its own.

"Dodge it!!"

Jiraiya shouted loudly.

He ran swiftly in one direction, not giving up on forming hand seals, as he was preparing to summon the two great Toad Sages, a preparation he had begun the moment he laid eyes on the white-robed figure.

Gathering chakra took time, a lot of time, which is why he had been talking so much earlier.

The disdain in the opponent's eyes was evident. Jiraiya even suspected that the man had seen through his preparations from the start but simply couldn't be bothered to interrupt deliberately. Of course, he couldn't be entirely sure.

The three ran in different directions, and Shizune, while retreating, threw a kunai in an attempt to slightly disrupt 'Urashiki's fishing hook.

"Snap!"

A crisp sound rang out as the kunai was deflected in an instant, not even a second was bought.

"Oh my, you dare to touch my fishing hook, you've got guts. I've decided, you'll be my first target," 'Urashiki' said with a laugh, giving his fishing rod a vigorous shake to continue his attack.

The hook turned and shot towards Shizune. Tsunade and Jiraiya weren't too panicked, as the hook's speed, though fast, wasn't beyond their ability to cope with—they could still manage it.

"Buy me some time," Jiraiya whispered.

Shizune's gaze shifted slightly, and Tsunade gave her an affirming look. She knew about Jiraiya's Sage Mode and was willing to trust him, so it was okay for Shizune to help buy some time.

And so, they began to stall.

'Urashiki' in the sky just smiled without speaking. No one understood Senjutsu better than him, and he was well aware of Jiraiya's so-called chakra accumulation.

Playing games with children, you can't squeeze them too hard from the start. You have to give them a glimmer of hope, make them feel they have a chance to turn the tables, make them fight with all their might, and defeat them one by one after they've used all their tricks.

"Boom!"

The red fishing hook slammed into the ground, instantly creating a deep crater, showcasing its extraordinary power.

Shizune deftly dodged, and Tsunade revealed a smile of admiration, seemingly proud of her disciple's growth. However, she quickly composed herself and watched 'Urashiki' carefully, who was half-sitting in the sky.

She couldn't be sure if he was serious, as he was always sitting and fishing with just one hand. She had to be vigilant of his true form, observing every change to avoid any unexpected situations.

"Tsunade," Jiraiya gave her a look and nodded.

The accumulation for Sage Mode was almost complete. With a little more time, he could summon the two great toad sages for a counterattack.

Although the stranger's presence was intimidating, his attack strength wasn't high, nor was it very aggressive. Based on the power he had shown so far, they still had a good chance of winning.

Even though he was surely hiding something, the boost from Sage Mode was stronger and would definitely take him by surprise.

Amidst these thoughts, a sudden change occurred.

"Pfft!"

Shizune's body was pierced by the fishing hook. She looked down with wide eyes at the hook that had suddenly thrust up from the ground, feeling a chill in her heart. The dust from the hook's impact on the ground was just a cover for this sneak attack.

This guy, no sense of honor.

"Oh, got a bite!"

'Urashiki' laughed heartily as he pulled up the hook, and a mass of blue chakra was instantly drawn out of Shizune's body, shrinking back to 'Urashiki's' hand with the hook.
