"Go, Eiji", Taki encouraged his teammate

However, his supporting charisma paled in front of Sakura, who was shouting out of her lungs: "GO, GENJI, GO! SHOW HIM WHAT YOU'VE GOT"

Eiji, however, was not feeling well at all. As the weakest member of the team, Eiji had become the reference for the team's minimum standard. It was already a blow to his ego, but the worse was that Yumi had not just asked Genji to spar with him well enough to enter the team. She had asked him to beat him.

A month had passed already since their first meeting, and the more he interacted with the kid, the worse he felt. He had nothing against him, it was just that...he became more aware about his own lack of talent.

Eiji sighed: "I have nothing against you, Genji. You're truly a good child, but if you can't beat me, you will become a liability on the battlefield. I will not hold back"

Genji smirked inwardly, but nodded humbly on the surface.

As soon as the fight began, Genji moved backwards, making distance.

Yumi immediately nodded. Not fighting a kenjutsu specialist in close distance was a must, especially for a ninjutsu specialist like Genji.

Genji knew for a fact that using genjutsu would grant him an easy win. Although it might only confuse Eiji for a couple of seconds, it was more than enough to riddle his body with kunai and shuriken, a lethality that was hardly showed in the series.

However, he wanted to test something else. 

As he concentrated his chakra, Eiji continued to charge at high speed. 

"What is he doing?", Sakura asked, "Just use your genjutsu already, like during training!"

'Wait for it...", Genji analysed, 'Wait for it...'

As soon as Eiji entered the 20 meters range, Genji smirked. He had fallen for this.

Wind Breathrough [D]

Although the Wind Breakthrough was a rather common jutsu, only Yumi, who had taught him and guided him to improve on his ninjutsu. Even then, no one could have believed this outcome.

Eiji was sent flying, not having time to react to this huge blast of wind. He took the shot frontally. His body was riddled with cuts, and his back crashed onto a nearby tree. 

It was violent.
