In the war room inside the Hokage building, Hiruzen was studying the world map jutsu, observing the Suna ninja moving within the Rain Village.

He also noted the positions of Jiraiya's forces and Kagami's 100-man company.

With his chin resting on his hand, he pondered deeply, thinking about the ambush setup they had staged for the Suna forces.

However, the movements of Suna suggested they might already know of the ambush.

Hiruzen muttered, "Our ambush must be placed elsewhere. The news of the River Land subjugation must have reached Suna."

He noted that the 1,000-man Uchiha company had already departed from the river and was en-route to the Suna camp in Ame, estimated to arrive in two hours.

Soon, Hiruzen observed two larger chakra signatures arriving from the Iwa frontlines toward the Konoha camp.

He spoke to himself, "It seems Ebizo must have been left behind to attack Iwa, while Chiyo, as the advisor, is accompanying the Kazekage."

Without wasting time, he sent this information to the frontlines via summoning jutsu.

At the Konoha camp facing Suna, Jiraiya was managing the situation when Kagami and his company arrived.

Jiraiya, along with the jonins, decided to greet him personally.

With a smile on his face, he said, "Good to see you, Uncle Kagami. It seems Sensei sent you to help deal with the Kazekage."

Kagami greeted him back warmly, a smile tugging at his face. "Good to see you too, Jiraiya. Yes, I was sent to deal with the Kazekage, while Leader Setsuna will handle Suna's ANBU commander."

Jiraiya replied, "Okay then, let's head to the camp. Mr. Saki, please arrange accommodations for these ninjas."

The jonin, Saki, nodded with a smile. "Yes, Commander."

Jiraiya then led Kagami into a large tent. After briefing Kagami on the Suna frontlines, Kagami nodded thoughtfully.

He acknowledged Jiraiya's efforts. "You've done well, Jiraiya," Kagami remarked.

"It's not that good, Uncle Kagami," Jiraiya chuckled, waving it off modestly.

Suddenly, a scroll arrived on the table inside the tent. Jiraiya unsealed it and read its contents. His expression turned serious as he spoke,

"It seems Suna plans to counter-ambush us." He passed the scroll to Kagami.

Kagami read the scroll and remarked, "Let's set an ambush with traps. Are there Earth ninjas available? We'll need them to build countermeasures.

The scroll also contains information about the Kazekage. We must keep him off the battlefield; otherwise, it will be a massacre with Suna's victory."

Jiraiya nodded. "It seems Leader Setsuna has returned," he said as both he and Kagami looked in the same direction.

A figure soon entered the tent. Kagami greeted him, "It seems the River Plan was successful, Leader Setsuna."

Setsuna smiled. "Yes, Kagami, it was swift and easy with the Nara Clan's shadow jutsu."

His expression turned serious as he continued, "Is it true that the Hokage was injured and Lady Uzumaki has passed away?"

Kagami nodded with a heavy expression. "Yes, it is said Hiruzen was dealing with Takigakure when he returned injured after Lady Riasu's demise."

Jiraiya spoke, "I still can't believe it. Someone managed to injure Sensei? After the battles we've witnessed—especially in Uzushiogakure—it seems unreal."

Setsuna nodded. "Even I have sensed the Third Hokage's aura. It is already on par with, or even slightly stronger than, the First Hokage's.

If he was injured, then another monster must be present in the world today."

His words left everyone in the tent stunned. Some jonin murmured among themselves,

"Is Leader Setsuna serious? The Hokage-sama is stronger than the First Hokage? How could someone injure him, then?"

Another ninja scoffed, "What do you know? Hokage-sama has the Kekkai Tōta, Cyclone Release."

Kagami nodded. "Yes, we must tread carefully. If such a powerful ninja can injure the Hokage, we must proceed with caution."

Everyone nodded in agreement. Setsuna then asked, "What are the orders from the village?"

Jiraiya passed the scroll to Setsuna, who reviewed it along with Shuzaku and Inosuke Yamanaka. Shuzaku, a natural strategist, quickly devised a plan for a night assault.

Inosuke Yamanaka added, "Yamanaka ninjas can eliminate some of their leaders using Spirit Transformation Jutsu."

Kagami commented, "It seems this will be a breeze, then."

Preparations began in earnest. Earth ninjas laid defenses while trap specialists set up ambush points.

Scouts from the Yamanaka and Nara clans employed their advanced techniques, such as the new Eye of Shadow Jutsu, to assess enemy defenses.

As the enemy's positions were mapped out, Kagami gave the signal. The Konoha forces were ready.

In the Suna camp, Chiyo addressed the Kazekage. "The scouts sent to gather intelligence have returned. They didn't find any traps ahead.

It seems Konoha's forces didn't arrived yet from Land of Rivers, they seems to be maintaining defensive play."

The Kazekage nodded. "Yes, if the Konoha's full forces arrive during the day, our forces will be in a dire situation.

Now is the most natural time to attack. Move back half of the forces for any possible ambush Chiyo."

"Yes Kazekage-sama." Chiyo nodded and departed to make arrangements.

The Suna forces began their silent march through the night, leaving half their troops to guard the rear.

Three thousand ninja advanced toward Konoha, with the Kazekage and Chiyo leading the charge.

Meanwhile, in the forest near the ambush site, Kagami stood alongside Jiraiya, Setsuna, Shuzaku, Akimichi Torifu, and Inosuke Yamanaka.

Two squads approached and reported, "We've completed the task, Kagami-sama."

The lead Uchiha explained,

"With the Nara Clan's shadow jutsu, we intercepted the enemy scouts, controlled them with genjutsu, and erased their memories using the Yamanaka Clan's techniques. The misinformation has been perfectly planted."

Kagami nodded in approval.

"Well done. Torifu, you and I will ambush the Kazekage. Jiraiya, you'll intercept Chiyo.

Leader Setsuna, you will lead the first flank, supported by Shuzaku with the second formation.

The Nara and Akimichi clans will handle ambush and defense, while the Kurama Clan leader supports with genjutsu attacks.

Five jonin and fifty elite chunin will guard the Yamanaka jonin ninjas as they use Spirit Transformation Jutsu to deliver a severe blow to the enemy."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

As night fell, the Suna ninja, led by the Kazekage and Chiyo, entered a narrow valley.

The Kazekage, flying above the trees with his metal sand, ordered the ninja to halt.

Noticing the layout of the valley, he commanded, "retreat! its a trap..."

A rain of weapons, each carrying explosive tags, descended on the Suna forces.

The Kazekage tried to channelised his iron sand, but found his body immobilized.

A pitch-black shadow shimmering in the moonlight binding him from the ground.

"How is this possible?" Before he could break free, the explosions began.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The narrow valley turned into a deathtrap.

Uchiha ninjas, alongside Konoha's allied clans, emerged from the sides.

Setsuna Uchiha leading the charge spoke, "Fire!"

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu"

Earth ninjas added to the devastation with "Earth Style: Earth Fissure Jutsu" amplifying the destruction.

Setsuna leading the charge, spitting out one Fire Jutsu after another, supported by Uchiha ninjas. The first wave of Suna forces was annihilated.

The Kazekage and Chiyo managed to shield themselves but not without injury.

Chiyo deployed her puppets for defense, commanding a retreat. " Suna ninja, Exit the valley!"

Some Suna genin and chunin attempted to counter with Wind Style Jutsu, but this only fanned the flames, worsening the situation.

Kagami, seeing the time is right spoke, "Its time" with lightning speed, leaped toward the Kazekage while Jiraiya also leapt to engage Chiyo.

Setsuna and Shuzaku led the main charge, 

At this moment Akimichi Torifu jumped beside, "Partial Multi Size Expansion jutsu" 

He instantly expanded his hand to giant size and slapped kazekage covered in cocoon directly pummeling into the ground beside Kagami.
