Naruto: Starting with Dual Rinnegan, Konan Falls in Love with Me

Back at camp, Gu Xingxi headed to the medical tent, where many familiar faces gathered.

Shouko Nishimiya and Tsunade were busy treating everyone, while to her surprise, Minato Namikaze and Tobirama Senju lay in the infirmary beds.

Approaching Minato, Gu Xingxi asked with confusion, "What happened to you?"

Before Minato could respond, Tobirama interjected, "Hey, Gu Xingxi, we're teammates, aren't we? Why fuss over him first and not me? I'm genuinely hurt here."

Gu Xingxi retorted without much patience, "You're not going to die just yet."

Tobirama didn't quite catch her drift, and Gu Xingxi chose not to continue the conversation.

Minato, scratching his head awkwardly, explained, "I and my two teammates encountered a Jonin from the Hidden Rain Village. It took our combined effort to defeat him, but I was severely injured, and my other two teammates were killed."

Gu Xingxi thought to herself, I knew it. If Minato's here, something bad must've happened. And now he's the only one left from the original Team Seven. Tough break having Jiraiya as a mentor.

After receiving treatment, Jiraiya approached and said, "This isn't your fault, Minato. I failed to protect you. When I get back to the village, I'll ask the Third Hokage for a more powerful jutsu for you."

Gu Xingxi realized, (So that's how Minato got his Flying Thunder God Technique.)

Meanwhile, the Hidden Sand Village's ninja, unable to locate Hanzo, sought an alliance.

Hanzo questioned, "Who's leading your side this time? Not another Ebizo, I hope?"

A Hidden Sand Anbu replied, "It's Chiyo-sama on our side. She'll join you in battle against Konoha. Our only demand is to kill Gu Xingxi and retrieve Ebizo's body."

Hanzo mused, (Sounds familiar.) "Fine, I too wish to kill that brat. But I have a condition."

The Anbu urged, "Please state your condition. Anything you ask, the Hidden Sand will comply."

Hanzo smirked, "Chiyo seems very sincere. My condition is that your side must commit significant forces. The Hidden Rain has been weakened by the last two battles."

The Anbu agreed, "Consider it done." "Very well," Hanzo said, pleased.

After the discussion, the Anbu returned to Chiyo and relayed everything. Chiyo angrily declared, "That Hanzo, using us as cannon fodder!"

The Anbu asked, "What shall we do, Lady Chiyo?"

Chiyo decided, "Let him fight on the front. We'll take a detour."

Upon learning of Gu Xingxi's actions, Danzo Shimura immediately wrote to the Third Hokage, "We cannot let this Uchiha continue on the battlefield unchecked. If he gains too much influence, the Uchiha clan might become uncontrollable. In my view, recall him to the village, conceal his combat

record, and remember, the Hidden Sand won't let his killing of Ebizo slide."

The Third Hokage, aware of the risks of another Uchiha Madara arising, found no legitimate reason yet to recall Gu Xingxi and knew that Tsunade and the others would not forgive him if he did so without cause.

He wrote back to Danzo, "I understand your concern, but calm yourself. Do not act without my order."

Danzo was furious upon receiving the reply. Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru taking him lightly was one thing, but this Uchiha too, and Sarutobi Hiruzen's lack of understanding was utterly intolerable.

Someone reported to Danzo, "Lord Danzo, we have reliable information. The Hidden Sand and Chiyo, in alliance with Hanzo, are moving against us with about two thousand troops."

Danzo commanded, "Send a message to Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Tsunade to lead two thousand of our own to meet the enemy."

After the messenger left, Danzo thought to himself, If we win this war, I'll be the Fourth Hokage.

The Anbu then reported to the Legendary Sannin in the medical tent.

Tsunade exclaimed, "Enough already! How much longer can this go on without a break?"

Jiraiya responded, "Hold off on your complaints, Tsunade. With Chiyo's expertise in poisons, we need you on the battlefield."

"Understood. Let's go," she said, and they both hurried to the frontline.

Orochimaru suggested, "Come along, Gu Xingxi. Your reputation on the battlefield is no less than any of ours now." After saying this, he left.

Gu Xingxi replied, "Understood, Master Orochimaru."

Tobirama added, "Go ahead, Gu Xingxi. Once the war is over, Minato and I will join you to clean up the battlefield."

Gu Xingxi responded, "You'd better stay in the infirmary. Take care of them, Shouko." With that, she summoned a shadow clone to guard Shouko and dashed to the frontline.

Gu Xingxi had a foreboding feeling, sensing that something significant was about to unfold.
