"Torifu could replace Orochimaru, given his extensive experience on the battlefield," Homura suggested with a nod.

Koharu frowned, expressing her concern. "We can't be complacent. Placing hope on the enemy not making a move is far too risky. We need to prepare for the worst-case scenario."

"I understand," Hiruzen replied, nodding thoughtfully. "The immediate priority is Kumogakure. The Raikage, Ay, has consolidated their forces into a formidable, unified front. We must treat them seriously."

Iwagakure presented a different scenario. Unlike Kumogakure, their internal conflicts, though not as severe as Konoha's, were still notable.

Konoha's spies had reported significant friction between Roshi, the Four-Tails Jinchūriki, and Ōnoki. Roshi had attempted to leave Iwagakure multiple times, only to be captured and confined by Ōnoki. Their irreconcilable differences meant Roshi, though powerful and able to wield the Tailed Beast's power—albeit imperfectly—lacked genuine loyalty to Ōnoki.

After contemplating for a moment, Hiruzen declared, "I'll send Torifu to the frontlines immediately to coordinate with Jiraiya. If Kumogakure launches a surprise attack, Jiraiya alone may not suffice."

Homura suggested, "Given the circumstances, we should bolster our frontline forces appropriately."

Koharu frowned, concerned. "Wouldn't that provoke Kumogakure? If both sides keep escalating their forces, it could spiral into an all-out war."

"That's a valid concern," Hiruzen admitted, stroking his chin. "However, we can't afford to hesitate now. Deploying additional troops is necessary. We can't rely on the goodwill of thieves like Kumogakure."

Homura's eyes gleamed with an idea. "Why not deploy the Uchiha clan? Their Mangekyō Sharingan is a perfect countermeasure against the Tailed Beasts. It would also help deplete their strength."

"Absolutely not!" Koharu objected vehemently before Hiruzen could respond. "We can't allow the Uchiha to accumulate more military achievements. If they gain the people's favor, it would be disastrous for us."

"Koharu," Hiruzen interjected, rubbing his temples in frustration. "The situation isn't as dire as you think. Fugaku and Akira Uchiha may have awakened their Mangekyō Sharingan, but as Tobirama-sensei taught us, these eyes have severe drawbacks.

"While powerful, their usage is finite. The more they rely on those eyes, the closer they edge toward blindness. At the right time, I'll deploy them strategically, ensuring their Mangekyō Sharingan is consumed in battle."

"When their vision fails, even the greatest accolades won't matter," Hiruzen concluded confidently.

Hearing this, Koharu calmed down, albeit reluctantly. "I apologize for my outburst earlier. I trust your judgment."

Homura murmured, "If Tobirama-sensei's research is accurate, the Mangekyō Sharingan fails after two or three intense battles. Fugaku must be nearing blindness, and Shisui isn't far behind. Akira's condition might be slightly better, but not by much..."

As senior advisors, they were privy to the details of the Nine-Tails incident and the role the Uchiha played.

Deep within Konoha's prison, Orochimaru and Danzo Shimura were held in separate cells in its most secure wing.

Sitting before Orochimaru was Akira Uchiha, his scarlet Sharingan fixed unrelentingly on the prisoner.

Orochimaru remained trapped in an illusion, lost in a fabricated world. Under Akira's questioning, he began writing down his research findings and forbidden techniques onto a blank scroll.

As Akira read through Orochimaru's notes, many mysteries became clear. Orochimaru had already perfected the Cursed Seal technique earlier than expected. By Konoha's 50th year, he had discovered Jūgo's natural Sage Body and secretly taken him to a hidden base.

Leveraging Jūgo's abilities, the Ryūchi Cave's Sage Mode, and his own research on spiritual and soul-based techniques, Orochimaru developed two powerful forbidden jutsu: the Living Corpse Reincarnation and the Cursed Seal.

These techniques rendered Orochimaru nearly immortal. Even he didn't know how to permanently kill himself.

"I didn't expect Orochimaru to complete the Cursed Seal so early," Akira mused, astonished.

As the interrogation continued, more of Orochimaru's groundbreaking techniques emerged, including his research on the Impure World Reincarnation.

Akira recognized its potential. "Tobirama created many forbidden jutsu that are relatively easy to learn. Their danger lies in the risks they pose, not their complexity."

The current Impure World Reincarnation was still in its primitive stage, incapable of fully utilizing the summoned individual's strength. It was far from the enhanced version later perfected by Orochimaru and Kabuto.

"Even so, this technique has promise..." Akira noted, intrigued by its potential. Orochimaru's knowledge could be a valuable asset if used wisely.

By nightfall, Akira had extracted all he needed. Though he left the scrolls behind for official records, the details were etched into his Sharingan, enabling him to replicate them later.

After instructing the Uchiha Police Force to secure the findings, Akira returned home to the Uchiha compound.

The next day, Konoha's public announcement caused an uproar.

Residents of the village were outraged as they read the official notice, directing their fury at Danzo and Orochimaru. The harsh sentences passed down on the two were met with widespread approval.

Meanwhile, spies from other villages hurried to report the developments back to their superiors.
