Naruto: Sukuna's Jinchuriki, I am Uchiha

Chapter 76: Chapter 76: The Yellow Flash and the Crimson Eye

Chapter 76: The Yellow Flash and the Crimson Eye

The Hidden Leaf Village, which Uchiha Madara failed to destroy even with the Nine-Tails, had now been reduced to ruins.

As the evening sun set, the battlefield was bathed in an eerie light. Blood filled the air, attracting flocks of crows circling above.

A pitch-black spear pierced through Danzo Shimura's chest.

It was a black rod, a weapon of the Rinnegan's wielder and those capable of using Yin-Yang Release.

Danzo had revealed himself with the confidence of relying on the Izanagi, the technique to rewrite fate. Yet, when he tried to activate it by drawing on the Sharingan embedded in his body, he realized his chakra was entirely unresponsive.

"We have misunderstood the true nature of power."

Uchiha Kagami walked closer step by step, his presence exuding an oppressive force.

The overwhelming aura triggered a memory deep within Danzo's mind, taking him back decades...

To the day when he hesitated.

To the moment he failed to step forward before Hiruzen.

The shadow of that fear of death had loomed over him ever since, a nightmare he could never escape.

Even after years of self-destructive missions and hardships, all in an attempt to overcome that fear, it had never truly left him.

"Uchiha Kagami!!"

"You people are a curse on the Leaf! If only Hiruzen had acted sooner..."

Swoosh—

A black rod pierced through Danzo's mouth, pinning him to the ground in a grotesque position.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

More rods nailed his abdomen and legs, forcing him into a twisted kneeling posture.

"Finally, I get to do this."

"You know, Danzo, I've never had any real grudge against Tobirama Senju. The hatred between the Uchiha and the Senju isn't something easily erased."

"But my grandfather helped you many times, didn't he?"

"What have the Uchiha ever done to deserve your hatred?"

Danzo could only glare in defiance, his body trembling violently but utterly powerless to move or speak.

"I'll tell you why."

Kagami's voice carried a note of mockery, his gaze piercing through Danzo like he was staring at filth.

"You're a weak, envious man. Jealous of the Uchiha."

"You demean us endlessly, all while coveting the power of our Sharingan."

Kagami tore off the bandages covering Danzo's right eye, ripping away the unwillingly closed eyelids to reveal a three-tomoe Sharingan.

"Danzo... weren't you always preaching about how evil the Uchiha are?"

Kagami then ripped open Danzo's sleeve, exposing his grotesque arm. With a swift kick, the sealing mechanism shattered, revealing the transplanted Sharingan embedded across it.

Three of them opened, staring lifelessly into the air.

The truth lay bare for all to see.

Danzo's body quivered, unable to hide the evidence of his sins.

Neither the ninja of the Leaf nor the Uchiha warriors watching from behind Kagami could believe their eyes.

KABOOM!

A water dragon jutsu roared toward Kagami, not aimed at him but at Danzo's restrained body.

Koharu Utatane had seen enough and decided to spare her old comrade the humiliation.

But without even turning his head, Kagami unleashed an invisible slash, shredding the water dragon into harmless mist.

Koharu was frozen in place, her hands still forming the seal for the jutsu.

Her arms fell, followed by her chest and abdomen.

In an instant, her body crumbled into pieces, like a fragile pot smashed to the ground.

Orochimaru's eyes narrowed. Even the immortal Eight-Headed Serpent Technique offered no sense of security in the face of such power.

He had anticipated a massive gap in strength.

He hadn't even dared to hope for victory.

But witnessing it firsthand, he realized how far apart they truly were.

Kagami...

You wield the power to crush the Leaf singlehandedly.

A being like you should transcend all, untethered by any bonds or attachments...

If Kagami could hear Orochimaru's thoughts, he wouldn't have bothered to explain himself.

For Kagami, there were priorities greater than the Leaf, greater even than the Uchiha.

---

Kagami's crimson gaze burned into Danzo, whose trembling body could not even manage to close his eyes.

The Sharingan's unparalleled clarity became his curse.

"The lives of ninja are far more resilient than ordinary people," Kagami remarked coldly.

"So let's run a little experiment, Danzo."

"I hope you live long enough to see the new Leaf rebuilt."

"The Leaf that belongs to the Uchiha."

Kagami casually stopped Danzo's bleeding with a flick of his fingers, ensuring he would not die.

Four more black rods embedded themselves in the ground, forming a cage around him.

The bars of the cage shimmered with specks of crimson flame.

It was a prison from which there was no escape, a mockery of all Danzo stood for.

Kagami smirked.

"Danzo, do you know what you look like right now?"

"You look like a filthy old dog."

"I thought about crushing you like an insect, but just like you loathed us, I despise you."

"You don't deserve a quick death."

"Your corpse won't be buried, and I'll ensure your soul remains trapped within this wretched body."

"Don't think for a moment you'll escape to the afterlife. My curse will follow you beyond death."

With that, Kagami turned away indifferently.

Standing amidst the chaos was a young man with golden hair—Minato Namikaze, the Yellow Flash.

Minato's breathing was labored, having pushed himself to his limits with the Flying Thunder God technique to reach this place.

Fear and desperation filled his eyes.

More than anything, he feared what might have happened to the person he held most dear.

"Mirror... where is Kushina?!"

His voice was hoarse, his mind still stuck on the moment when Kagami's genjutsu overtook him.

In that instant, he had sensed the Nine-Tails erupting from Kushina.

"Minato, is Kushina more important to you than the Leaf?" Kagami asked casually.

"I don't know."

Minato clutched a kunai tightly, his voice trembling.

"Whatever you plan to do... give Kushina back to me!"

Sensing the intense emotion radiating from Minato, Kagami couldn't help but entertain a fleeting thought.

If Minato had Uchiha blood, perhaps pushing him a little further would awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan.

"She's safe with my clansmen," Kagami finally said. "The Nine-Tails' chakra is stable now."

How could it not be stable, sealed by the Uzumaki clan's techniques and Kagami's Eternal Mangekyō?

Minato let out a long, shaky breath of relief before his gaze fell on Danzo's restrained form.

And the Sharingan embedded in his arm.

Minato made his decision. His blue eyes burned with determination.

"Kagami, do you want to be Hokage?"

Kagami shook his head.

"I'm not interested."

"Then let me be Hokage," Minato declared firmly.

"I'll recognize the Uchiha's rightful place of power, and I'll help you eliminate those who resist."

"In exchange... promise me you'll spare the children and those who surrender."

"Please."

Kagami had long shared his ideals with Minato.

Minato understood that Kagami's path would inevitably be paved with blood.

But for the chance to create a better world, this sacrifice was necessary.

The shinobi world had been engulfed in war for over a thousand years, even after the founding of the Hidden Villages.

If anyone could break the cycle, it was Kagami.

No one else could sever the chains of causality.

No one else could truly reshape the shinobi world.

"Minato-senpai," Kagami said, his lips curling into a smile.

"Let's fight side by side."

---

"Yellow Flash and Crimson Eye..." Orochimaru chuckled darkly, his mouth stretching unnaturally wide.

"My rise to fame and my final curtain call—both are magnificent!"

"Come, then!"

The enormous Eight-Headed Serpent loomed over the battlefield, its sheer size an overwhelming advantage.

But everyone present could feel it.

Orochimaru wasn't here to win.

He was here to die.
