"Now, let's see what this baby can do in real." Ryu said.

Dan smiled and took the seal from him. He then proceeded to perform some hand seals and place his hands on the seal, but nothing happened.

Dan stared at Ryu while he was keeping the non-existent barrier, which was yet to appear, and said, "Do something; I cannot test this alone."

Ryu replied, "Ohh. Sorry."

Ryu then approached Dan with his hand forward, and suddenly a translucent blue wall materialised. Ryu took a few steps back and then said, "Now I am going to throw something devoid of chakra. Catch."

Ryu threw a blank scroll at Dan, and Dan caught it. The barrier did not appear this time.

Dan said, "It worked as intended; the efficiency is also amazing, and it's much better even if it's just for blocking ninjutsu and living people."

He closed the seal and approached Ryu.

Dan said, "I must say, I had never imagined that your thought process was like this and that the result would be success on the first try."

Ryu said, "This thought process is my unique ability."

Dan said, "So you want me to sell this barrier seal to the village?

Ryu said, "No."

Dan said, "Why not? Your target is money, right? This seal will sell as the optimised storage seal."

Ryu replied, "First, I must craft some more barrier seals and privacy seals for our protection. Till then, just profits from storage seals will do. Has anyone approached you yet?"

Dan replied, "Yes, a couple of novice sealmasters came to rip me off. I sent them running back. You are right; too many new seals in a very short time span are bound to attract unwanted attention. We need to be cautious.

Ryu asked his grandfather, "While I dive more into privacy seals and other barrier seals, you can practice this new barrier seal for now."

He said, "I will craft a suitable training manual for this as well to make learning easy for you."

Dan asked before that, "What are we going to call this seal?

Ryu replied, "How about? Passive Barrier."

He continued, "Later, I will modify it so that the barrier may appear in any and all directions without any input from the caster of the seal. That way the caster will be protected from all sides, and I will also add gateway instructions to it to make an opening at will of the caster for the entrance of allies in the barrier without disabling the barrier. I will also modify to block things devoid of chakra. I am studying more detection seals for that."

Dan asked, "Where do you get these ideas?"

Ryu pointed a finger at his forehead and said from here.

Dan said, I will practice this one now while you craft the other one. 

Ryu and Dan got to work and started doing what they had planned.

The next few days went by, and Ryu completely learned all the basic barriers, privacy, and detection seals that had been given to him. all privacy and silencing seals, as well as a special kind of privacy seal called an [Image Distorting Seal] that acts just like frosted glass used in bathrooms.

Ryu said, "Grandpa wasn't kidding when he said he was a hidden grandmaster. Even the basic seals he gave me are too much to keep in the public library."

Ryu was in his [Mind Palace], looking at a few seals in front of him. One of them was [Image distortion seal]. He was going to use it as a base for his new privacy seal to keep his home safe from spies.

"Ok, activate [Overclocking]." He said, and willed his power to enhance his thinking capacity by combining the might of all three best powers at his disposal.

- [Temporary Enhance] running on [Fast thinking] and [Parallel thinking]

- Overclocking enabled.

He gestures with his hand that the [Image Distortion seal] and other seals broke into pieces and rearranged themselves into a new seal on a new blank canvas.

The head was throbbing with migraines of his own making while crafting this seal. He prayed a little for the people who will be at the receiving end of this seal. After a few minutes, he was done.

- [Migrain seal] successfully created

- Overclocking disabled.

Ryu looked at this new seal and wanted to run a simulation on it.

- Simulation Running

- [Migrain seal] successfully executed

- No debugging required

"Success," Ryu declared with a smile on his face.

Ryu opened his eyes and saw Dan practicing the [Passive barrier seal] he crafted a few days ago.

This seal was taking time to learn as it was a bit more complex than others but not that much more complex. Ryu thought it may be that a regular person, even if he is a grandmaster, needs time to learn any new seal.

Ryu told Dan, ""Grandpa, I am finished with the new privacy seal.". 

Dan reached out to Ryu and put his hand on his shoulder.

-Genjutsu: [Mind Palace Projection] activated

Dan looked at the seal in the [Mind Palace] and said, "So this is the new privacy seal. Its complexity is on another level."

Ryu explained, "I designed it to give headaches to the spies instead of blocking their view. I also added disorientation and nausea to it."

He then jokingly said, "I tried to add diarrhoea to it but failed. I will attempt that again in the future."

Dan understood the basic aim of this seal and asked, "What are you going to call it?"

Ryu smiled and said, "I will call this the [Migraine seal]." 

Dan's eyes twitched as he said, "Your naming sense sucks."

"Are you this lazy when naming your stuff?" he added.

Ryu defended himself by saying, "What? It's a fitting name."

Dan replied, "Yes. But there is no grandiosity in your naming scheme. Look how Lord Second named his creation. The Flying Thunder God Technique, the Shadow Clone Jutsu. So grand, isn't it?"

Inside Dan thought, "Actually, I suggested those names, but he doesn't need to know that."

Dan shook his head and said, "At least you are better than Lord Fourth. His naming sense made me want to throw up."

-Genjutsu: [Mind Palace Projection] deactivated

Dan looked at Ryu and asked, "Are we going to test it?"

Ryu smiled and started working on it. After 20 minutes, he was done with it. He still wasn't fast in real life as compared to his [Mind Palace], but still faster than most of Grandmaster, thanks to the tracing feature of [Hyperphantasia].

Dan noticed his disappointment, and as he said, "I will teach you to shorten your time at crafting with the help of slot making and using chakra to write the seals."

Ryu thought, "So that is how the Fourth Hokage marks his victim with the Flying Thunder God jutsu in an instant."

Dan tells him, "Usually this method is not taught to seal masters and is reserved for grandmasters and the Combat Seal-masters because it stops their growth as they stop practicing seal formation with their hands."

He continued, "It saves a seal in a nearby scroll to be deployed at any time without prep time using chakra rather than fuinjutsu ink. But I don't think it will hamper your growth, given your sharp memory. So I will teach you slot making later."

He added, "And because you have given me two new seals, I must give you something."

"I am done," said Ryu after completing the new seal on Fuinjutsu Paper.

"Could you do the honours?" Ryu asked.

Dan approached and took the [Migraine seal] from Ryu and again said, "This seal is very, very complex. All right, let's see if it works."

Dan executed some hand seals and placed his hand on the scroll, went back a few steps, and then got to the opposite side of the seal to take a look from the outside of the protected space of the ward the seal has created.

He kept looking and found nothing out of the ordinary, and then suddenly he started to feel disoriented, and his sight went blurry. He looked away from the spot and asked Ryu how he achieved that. 

Ryu explained that our eyes and brain work at different frequencies. This [Migraine seal] is actually based on the [Image distortion seal] and the genjutsu principle that works by visual input of the target.

The image one is trying to spy on is getting distorted slightly—not much to notice by eye but enough to influence the mind and overload sensory input.

This overload leads to migraine, disorientation, blurry vision, and, in the worst case, loss of consciousness.

Dan could not hide his surprise and asked him how Ryu got the basic idea. 

Ryu replied, "This is what would happen to me if I am not careful with my powers."

Ryu continued, "I deliberately avoid looking at things with too much attention when the things are not worth the attention or remembering; otherwise, my mind would be overwhelmed all the time."

Dan nodded with this explanation and said, "This seal is very unique. Just like you".
