NARUTO: The Saga of Crimson Monarch

Chapter 21: A Ray of Hope

"Thank you... thank you so much," Botan said, his voice filled with emotion as he embraced his daughter, who now lay in a much more peaceful state.

Ares waved his hand, brushing off the praise. "It's nothing. Just rest, you've been through enough."

Botan, feeling a sudden rush of gratitude, tried to offer something in return. "I don't have much, but I have fish from the sea, I can cook a meal for you." He began to apologize, his face reddening as he scratched the back of his head, remembering that he hadn't caught anything that day.

But before he could finish his sentence, Ares held up a hand and said, "Wait here for a moment."

In the blink of an eye, Ares vanished. Botan blinked in confusion. Where had he gone? Just moments later, Ares returned with an armful of fresh fish, far more than Botan could have imagined. His mouth dropped open in disbelief. Ares' powers seemed limitless, and there was no way to fully comprehend what the young man was capable of.

"Where did you—?" Botan started, but Ares only grinned, waving a dismissive hand.

"Don't worry about it," Ares replied with a wink.

As they sat down to eat, the atmosphere in the small house shifted. The tension and worry seemed to fade, replaced by laughter and casual conversation. Botan felt a sense of warmth that he hadn't experienced in a long time. The food was simple, but the company was what made it special. Botan found himself opening up about his village, about the struggles he had endured, and about the corrupt Daimyo who ruled over the land without a care for the people.

"This village is struggling," Botan explained. "The Daimyo only cares for his own wealth and power. The people are left to fend for themselves, and those of us at the bottom—well, we're forgotten."

Ares listened carefully, his expression serious. "So the village has no real leadership?"

"No,only our old village chief" Botan replied bitterly. "The Daimyo's greed has destroyed the hope of this place. We fight for scraps while he lives in comfort. I don't know how much longer we can survive under his rule."

As the conversation continued, Botan felt a strange sense of connection with Ares. The young man seemed to understand his plight, not just through words, but through the depth of his actions. Ares had come from afar, bringing not just help, but the hope of a brighter future.

Ares felt the weight of Botan's words, and as he looked at the faces of the people in the room, he knew that his journey had only just begun. This was no longer just about learning and growing stronger. It was about making a real difference in the world, one person at a time. Ares had the power to change things, and he would.

As the night fell, and the conversation turned to quieter topics, Ares knew that Botan's story was just one of many that awaited him. The road ahead would be long and difficult, but Ares felt more determined than ever. He was not alone on this journey, and the world still had hope.

Ares had arrived in this village as a stranger, a traveler in search of new lands and new experiences. But after meeting Botan and his family, he found something more—a reminder that even in the darkest corners of the world, there were still people willing to fight for a better tomorrow. Ares would continue his journey, not just for personal growth, but to help others like Botan, who had lost faith in the world around them.

As Ares left the house,he knew that his purpose was far greater than he had ever realized. There was work to be done, and it would take all his strength and wisdom to see it through.
