After saying that, the pale yellow half-body Susanoo waved its hands repeatedly, as if swatting away flies.
"Retreat!"
The leader shouted loudly and flew back without any hesitation, and the others responded immediately.
Unfortunately, they underestimated Susanoo's power—or more specifically, they underestimated the power of the Mangekyō Sharingan.
What followed could only be described as a massacre. The enraged Uchiha controlled the half-body Susanoo, and no one could withstand him wherever he went. If he touched someone, they were injured; if he struck, they died. No one could resist.
At some point, Ishigami Hara reappeared on the treetop.
"Is that... the power of Mangekyō?" Orochimaru asked.
Ishigami Hara nodded. "Yes, it is indeed the power of Mangekyō. Isn't it impressive?"
Orochimaru remained silent, clearly taken aback by the power of Mangekyō.
It's not that he couldn't counter that level of Susanoo, but the sheer scale of the Sharingan's power was astonishing. The man had been near death moments earlier, yet in the blink of an eye, his injuries healed, and he was capable of using the half-body Susanoo. It was almost unbelievable.
"Incredible!" Orochimaru finally remarked.
"Mangekyō is flawed, or perhaps cursed eyes," Ishigami Hara added.
"Why do you say that?" Orochimaru asked, puzzled.
"Because Mangekyō leads to blindness. The more it's used, the worse the vision becomes."
Ishigami Hara shared this information without hesitation.
"I see."
As they spoke, the battle below was nearing its end. After activating the Mangekyō Sharingan, the Uchiha had dealt with more than 30 enemies. It wasn't as simple as cutting through them like vegetables, but it hadn't taken much effort either. Ishigami Hara had also observed that the Uchiha used one of Mangekyō's abilities.
One ability appeared to be the recovery of physical injuries—not particularly remarkable, but the other one was intriguing.
Ishigami Hara had witnessed an enemy's soul being extracted under the Uchiha's gaze.
Yes, the soul was extracted.
A light blue chakra figure was pulled from the enemy's body, and with a wave, the soul vanished, leaving the man to die naturally.
"What kind of ability is this?" Orochimaru was visibly shocked.
Ishigami Hara narrowed his eyes slightly but didn't respond.
Soon, the only one left standing was the Uchiha who had activated Susanoo. As for Uchiha Daiki, he had fainted after the Yamanaka shinobi who had controlled him was killed.
The Uchiha dispersed Susanoo, staggering slightly for a few steps before regaining his balance. He checked on Daiki and was relieved to find that he had just fainted. After trying to wake him without success, the Uchiha prepared to carry him and leave.
At that moment, Ishigami Hara's voice rang out.
"I advise you not to do that. Your companion isn't safe right now."
As he spoke, Ishigami Hara appeared a few meters in front of them.
Clang!
The Uchiha drew his sword, his face filled with alertness, and when he saw Ishigami Hara's appearance, his expression became one of surprise and doubt.
"It's you!?"
As he said this, he seemed to remember something, and his face twisted with surprise and disbelief.
"Are you their accomplice?"
Ishigami Hara simply smiled and shook his head. "No. If you don't want your companion to die, you'd best put him down. I can help treat him."
As he spoke, Ishigami Hara gestured toward the body of the Yamanaka shinobi in the distance and said, "You don't think the Mind Body Switch Technique comes without consequences, do you? Just before he died, that man used a Yamanaka clan secret technique to damage your companion's brain."
"Why should I believe you?"
The man remained on high alert, clearly not trusting Ishigami Hara's words.
Ishigami Hara shook his head slightly, unwilling to argue further.
Shua!
Suddenly, the man turned and looked behind him in shock.
"Orochimaru!?"
He now found himself blocked by both Ishigami Hara and Orochimaru.
"Damn it!"
After cursing, the man hesitated for a brief moment, then vanished, reappearing over ten meters away in an instant.
Orochimaru was surprised. He hadn't seen how the man moved, but his figure disappeared from sight.
"So fast!"
With that thought, Orochimaru began chasing after him.
Ishigami Hara also gave chase. The two pursued the fleeing man, but each time they were about to catch up, he would pause momentarily and then vanish, reappearing elsewhere.
Ishigami Hara's eyes gleamed, and the corners of his mouth curled up.
In the next moment, the man's body stiffened, and he instinctively looked down, noticing that his shadow was connected by a black thread-like line.
It wasn't a thread, but rather a shadow—connected to the shadow under Ishigami Hara's feet.
"This is... the secret technique of the Nara clan!"
The man was initially startled, then snorted coldly and disappeared again.
"Huh?"
This time, it was Orochimaru's turn to be surprised.
"How did he do that?" Orochimaru asked instinctively.
The Shadow Imitation Technique was usually quite effective at trapping an enemy, making it nearly impossible to break free before the jutsu ended.
Ishigami Hara smiled and said, "Interesting, so that's how it is."
As he spoke, a flash of electricity appeared around him, and in an instant, he reappeared half a meter in front of the man.
The man continued moving forward, only to pause and disappear once again.
"You're manipulating time, aren't you?" Ishigami Hara said calmly, appearing before the man again.
He had already guessed the nature of the man's ability—something related to time. It was another time-space technique, perhaps even more potent than Kamui from Obito.
"Damn it!"
The man's eye twitched as he teleported to another location again.
Ishigami Hara followed effortlessly, light as the wind but as swift as lightning. "If I meant you harm, you would already be dead. You have Mangekyō as well, so you should understand the power of these eyes."
As he spoke, Ishigami Hara revealed his own Mangekyō Sharingan and added, "And I advise you not to overuse your abilities—too much strain will make you go blind."
The man froze, stopped his flight, and breathed heavily before turning to face Ishigami Hara.
"When did you get here?"
Ishigami Hara smiled. "I've been here the whole time, just watching the show."
He chose to be honest.
The man's face twisted in anger, but Ishigami Hara raised a hand to interrupt, saying, "I'm not Uchiha."
With that one sentence, the man's retort died on his lips.
"If you don't want your companion to die, put him down."
The man's expression shifted multiple times before he finally set his unconscious companion down, glaring at Ishigami Hara and slowly piecing things together.
"So, those people were sent by the village?"
Ishigami Hara nodded, then shook his head slightly.
"Not exactly. They are from the village, but they follow Shimura Danzō's command."
As he spoke, Ishigami Hara moved toward the unconscious Uchiha Daiki to check on him.
"Luckily, the problem isn't fatal."
