Naruto: You Call This A Medical Ninja?

Initially, Onoki had intended to bring thousands of Iwagakure ninjas alongside him to pressure Konoha with sheer numbers. However, unexpected news arrived from a sensory ninja: Konoha had launched an attack on Sunagakure.

Hastening his plans, Onoki led a vanguard to intercept Konoha's forces, hoping to stall them long enough for reinforcements to arrive. He feared that by the time his full force gathered, Sunagakure would already be devastated.

But Onoki hadn't anticipated the scale of Uchiha Madara's power. His plans crumbled the moment he faced the legendary shinobi. In mere moments, Madara incapacitated Onoki, rendering the Tsuchikage unable to fight.

The vanguard, which was supposed to turn the tide of the battle, became little more than fodder for Madara's overwhelming might. The remaining Iwagakure ninjas soon became his next targets.

Meanwhile, Sunagakure's forces, led by Rasa, fared no better. Battling against the combined strength of the Legendary Sannin, Hatake Sakumo, and other powerful Konoha shinobi, defeat was inevitable.

Reiki's Tactical Defense

At the same time, Reiki and the Konoha medical team dealt with an attempted ambush.

"You... how is this possible?!" Akatsuchi stammered, staring at the Konoha medical ninjas in disbelief.

He had led a team to raid the medical unit, expecting an easy victory. Yet, they were overwhelmed by a seemingly impenetrable defense.

The attackers, comprised of battle-hardened shinobi, were effortlessly defeated by what they had dismissed as a group of defenseless medics.

"Alright, take a breather," Reiki said, knocking Akatsuchi unconscious with a swift punch.

"Reiki, can we join the main battle now?" one of the medics asked excitedly.

"These ninjas were so weak!" another added confidently.

Reiki shook his head, maintaining focus. "Stick to your roles. Prepare for incoming casualties."

The medical ninjas reluctantly returned to their duties, though their morale soared after their victory.

Reiki silently assessed the battlefield. The gap in high-level combat power was staggering. It was no longer a matter of numbers; quality and strategy were what truly mattered.

Crushing the Opposition

The battle raged for only a few hours before coming to a decisive conclusion. Rasa and Onoki were brought before Konoha's forces in defeat.

"So, we're bringing these two back?" Uchiha Madara asked, his tone indifferent as he glanced at the fallen leaders.

"No need to bring them back. Let them go," Tsunade replied calmly, shocking those around her.

"Let them go?" Orochimaru and Jiraiya exchanged surprised looks. After going through all this effort, why release them now?

"The Hokage is already in talks with the other Kage," Tsunade explained. "Onoki and Rasa likely know this already, though they haven't had time to respond. Right now, our priority is to heal the injured."

As Tsunade joined the medical effort, the sheer number of casualties necessitated everyone's involvement. Even Reiki struggled to keep up with the overwhelming workload.

Soon, Rasa was fully treated. As he regained his senses, his gaze fell on Onoki, seated opposite him, sealed and defeated.

"Lord Tsuchikage?!" Rasa exclaimed in shock.

Onoki didn't respond immediately. The battle against Madara had been so short that he barely had time to register what happened before he was incapacitated.

"KazeKage… this time… we're done," Onoki muttered, his voice laced with despair.

He had approached the battlefield brimming with confidence, only to be crushed by Madara's overwhelming strength. Konoha was no longer an opponent he could contend with.

Rasa, too, realized something troubling. "Why weren't we killed?"

Konoha's medical ninjas were actively treating even Iwagakure and Sunagakure's injured forces. This didn't align with a strategy of total annihilation.

"The future of the ninja world belongs to Konoha," Onoki said bitterly.

At that moment, Orochimaru approached them with a sly smile. "The meeting of the Five Great Shinobi Villages will be held in the Land of Fire. Please attend."

Though his tone was polite, his sinister demeanor unnerved the defeated leaders. Orochimaru unsealed their restraints, allowing them to stand.

The two Kage surveyed their surroundings. Not only had Konoha refrained from killing their forces, but most of their injured were already healed. Those still being treated were in capable hands.

What was Konoha planning? Unable to reach a conclusion, Rasa and Onoki exchanged glances before disappearing with Orochimaru.

Post-Battle Recovery

Two days later, Reiki lay on the ground, utterly exhausted. Even with his considerable stamina, the intensity of the treatment sessions had pushed him to his limits.

The other medical ninjas were equally drained, with several having collapsed the day before. Even Tsunade, a paragon of resilience, looked visibly fatigued.

"Come on, Reiki. The meeting is about to start," Tsunade said, pulling him to his feet.

"Alright," Reiki replied, forcing himself to stand.

As they departed, they left the battlefield in the capable hands of Jiraiya and Hatake Sakumo. The next phase of this unfolding drama was about to begin—one that would reshape the ninja world.
