Naruto: You Call This A Medical Ninja?

After leaving behind the address of Yucun for Losca and Qingyan, Reiki made his way toward the village. Within moments, his presence vanished from their senses.

"Qingyan, what do you think of this Reiki medical ninja?" Losca asked quietly once Reiki's aura disappeared.

Although Losca had seemed friendly toward Reiki earlier, his expression now was more contemplative, even doubtful. Despite Reiki's apparent straightforwardness, Losca couldn't quite understand him. At times, Reiki seemed like nothing more than a dedicated and talented medical ninja. Yet, the combat prowess he had displayed earlier contradicted that impression entirely.

"Brother Reiki is a very good person!" Qingyan replied firmly. His gaze sharpened as he added, "Great-grandfather, if you ever intend to become Brother Reiki's enemy, I won't side with you."

Losca froze at Qingyan's response, then chuckled heartily, rubbing the boy's head. "You're a bold one, aren't you? Don't worry, I was just curious about your opinion. If you trust him, then I will too."

This rare moment of familial warmth brought a smile to Qingyan's face. "Okay! Let's head back now."

With that, the two disappeared, heading back toward their clan.

In the Shadows of the Fire Nation

Meanwhile, deep within a hidden stronghold in the Land of Fire, Cixuan sat with a dark expression.

"Kabu is dead…" he muttered. "But why didn't Losca die?"

The mission assigned to both had been clear, and if Losca had escaped from an opponent stronger than him, he should have reported back. Instead, there was silence. Cixuan was convinced that Losca had defected from the Shell organization.

"Sir, should we act now?" a large, muscular man asked eagerly. His bloodthirsty grin made his intentions clear. "If the ninja world refuses to cooperate, we could crush it in an instant!"

"It's not time for that yet," Ishiki replied coldly, shaking his head. "Have you located the one controlling White Zetsu?"

"Yes, sir. He's known as Black Zetsu, the controller of the black market."

Ishiki sneered. "So it's that remnant of Kaguya Otsutsuki's will. Prepare for an attack on the black market. I'll claim those White Zetsu for myself."

"Yes, sir!" Several figures bowed and vanished into the shadows.

"Kaguya Otsutsuki…" Ishiki murmured, a malicious smile spreading across his face. "You'll regret your defiance."

Reiki Arrives at Yucun

Reiki's journey soon brought him to the bustling village of Yucun. As he entered, villagers quickly gathered around him with warm smiles and eager voices.

"It's Konoha's ninja! Roy Medical Ninja has arrived!" someone exclaimed.

"This is the person Queen Sara told us to remember!" another added excitedly.

"Welcome, Roy Medical Ninja! Do you need anything?"

The villagers' gratitude and enthusiasm overwhelmed Reiki. Their lives had been saved thanks to his intervention during the relocation from Loulan Kingdom. Shortly after the move, a devastating sandstorm had buried the original oasis, erasing any chance of survival there. Without Reiki's help, they wouldn't have made it to Yucun.

"I'm here to see Queen Sara," Reiki said with a polite smile. "Could someone take me to her?"

"I'll take you!" a young man stepped forward enthusiastically. "Queen Sara is currently discussing plans for rebuilding Loulan with Master Nawaki Senju from Konoha."

"Thank you," Reiki said, addressing the crowd. "Please continue with your daily work. I look forward to spending more time with you all soon."

The villagers beamed as Reiki followed the young man out of the crowd.

Ahe, the Young Guide

On the way to see Queen Sara, Reiki struck up a conversation with his guide.

"What's your name?" Reiki asked.

"My name is Ahe, and I'm 15 years old," the young man replied earnestly.

"Ahe, I noticed you've already learned to channel chakra," Reiki observed.

"Yes!" Ahe said excitedly. "Master Nawaki taught us how to extract chakra. Many of us are also learning to determine our chakra nature so we can become ninjas!"

Hearing this, Reiki felt a mix of emotions. Nawaki's efforts were admirable, but Reiki wondered whether pulling Loulan into the ninja world would truly benefit the villagers.

"It's good that you're learning," Reiki said after a moment. "Keep working hard."

Just as he was about to say more, Ahe interrupted, "Master Roy Medical Ninja, we've arrived."

They stood before a modest but bustling building where Queen Sara and Nawaki were deep in discussion.

"Thank you, Ahe," Reiki said, handing him a small vial. "This is a body-strengthening potion. Consider it a gift for your hard work."

"Thank you so much, Master Roy Medical Ninja!" Ahe said, bowing deeply before hurrying off with a smile.

Reiki watched him go, then turned toward the building, ready to meet Queen Sara and Nawaki. He had a feeling that the rebuilding of Loulan, and perhaps its integration into the ninja world, was only the beginning of greater challenges to come.
