Chapter 32: Chapter 32. The Power of God
The elders, the Hokage, and Kumogakure were all taken aback by Natsuki's sudden appearance.
The Third Hokage was uncertain about Natsuki Uchiha's intentions in stepping forward at this crucial moment.
However, he was determined to prevent another conflict between Konoha and Kumogakure.
Yugito, who had been trying to pressure the situation against the Hyuga family, was surprised by this unexpected variable.
Observing the pressure the Hokage was exerting on the Hyuga family, he considered a swift retreat for future negotiations. To his dismay, Natsuki intervened abruptly.
Yugito, still attempting to play her role, frowned and addressed Natsuki, "Uchiha Natsuki, our people from Kumogakure suffered a tragic fate at the hands of the Hinata family, and here you are, making sarcastic remarks."
However, he showed no intention of playing along. He dismissed her act, stating, "Enough with the acting. You sent a man to his death just to gauge Konoha's response. Now that you've tested the waters, Konoha won't dare to instigate another war."
Raising a finger, Natsuki added, "Unfortunately, you made a mistake."
The atmosphere grew tense, and the faces of those present displayed a mix of anger and shock.
Yugito abandoned her front, wearing a gloomy expression, and asked, "What mistake did we make?"
Natsuki stepped forward, clenching his fists, and declared, "This fool was killed by my punch. It had nothing to do with the Hyuga."
"You!" She was both shocked and angry.
"Hey! No need to be like that. You just wanted to see if he can handle it. Just kill him," He provocatively remarked. "If you can't accept it, come and kill me."
Yugito shouted, "Killer B!"
Killer B, appearing in a tailed beast suit, couldn't contain his frustration any longer. He charged forward with lightning-charged chakra enveloping his body, causing stones to fly and fine stone slabs to crack as he moved at high speed.
"Natsuki!" Hiashi was extremely anxious, unprepared for the sudden turn of events.
Fugaku, on the other hand, crossed his arms, displaying confidence in Natsuki.
In an instant, the situation escalated.
Boom! Boom!
A massive roar echoed, and the entire venue was shrouded in smoke and dust. A golden giant emerged from the ground — Susanoo.
Unlike the initial skeletal form, this Susanoo was covered in flesh and blood, wrapped in a coat-like chakra.
The overflowing chakra created a storm that sent shockwaves through everyone present.
Killer B, despite being pinned to the ground, refused to surrender. Continuously struggling, his body underwent visible changes as dark red tails of tailed beast chakra poured out from behind him.
A half-tailed beast!
Susanoo's hand was poised to strike as everyone watched Natsuki.
Boom! Another purple-black Susanoo appeared and descended with its palm.
Fugaku also manifested the Susanoo!
Two Susanoos materialized simultaneously, and the surrounding ninjas were unable to stand, thrown away by the overwhelming force.
With the divine power's blessing, the young Killer B was instantly overpowered.
The sickening sound of breaking bones resonated, and he screamed. Losing consciousness, the tailed beast coat slowly dissipated.
Yugito was terrified. Was Susanoo truly this powerful? Could it withstand the Eight-Tails' half-tailed beast transformation?
Natsuki firmly held the unconscious Killer B.
"If you want a fight, I'll crush him right now. The choice is yours, Yugito."
His fate hung in the balance, and Uchiha threw down the gauntlet: "Hold on! Uchiha Natsuki, what are you aiming for?"
Under Natsuki's control, Susanoo stood prominently in the field: "Isn't what happened today your own doing? You willingly involved yourself and can't accept the consequences?"
His tone was sarcastic, yet Yugito found it hard to muster anger.
Beyond Killer B in his grasp, she hadn't anticipated Uchiha possessing two Mangekyō Sharingan.
In contrast, the Hokage seemed sluggish, clearly aware that it was Kumogakure's plan.
However, he betrayed Hyuga and pressured them to resolve the matter.
As Susanoo made its grand gestures, more ninjas came to approach the scene.
Her countenance fell; this time, they were truly defeated.
She gritted her teeth and said, "This time, we in Kumo are in a bind. Please release Killer B."
Natsuki nodded to Fugaku, then dismissed the Susanoo.
He tossed the severely injured Killer B directly to her.
"I'm very dissatisfied with this peace agreement. Let's renegotiate the terms."
He was talking nonsense. He didn't know the content of the peace agreement, but it was better to curry favor.
As for why he wanted to curry favor with Konoha.
"The Third Hokage, the area around our clan is very safe. We won't need your protection in the future. Otherwise, I will worry about accidentally injuring my fellow villagers."
The emphasis on "accidentally injuring my fellow villagers" was pronounced.
The Third Hokage stood up at this moment: "The Uchiha clan land was under construction before. To prevent thieves, we arranged a lot of ANBU."
He paused and glanced at Killer B next to him: "Since the Uchiha clan has been built, we will naturally withdraw."
Natsuki nodded and turned to Hiashi, saying, "Hiashi-sama, you are welcome to visit our new clan land when you have time."
Hiashi first gave a cold look to the Third Hokage and then responded with a sincere face: "After dealing with family matters, I will definitely pay a visit."
"Let's go!" Natsuki signaled to Fugaku and the other Uchiha clan members and turned to leave.
The Third Hokage noticed the glances from the Hyuga family and knew they were being manipulated by Uchiha again.
But others on Kumo's side did receive benefits.
So, shamelessly, he said to Yugito, with the Hyuga family's gaze on him, "Yugito, there are some mistakes and omissions in our peace agreement this time. I believe we need to renegotiate."
...
After returning to the clan, Fugaku seemed a bit unsteady, and Natsuki quickly offered support.
"Clan leader, you don't need to take any action. I can handle Kumo by myself."
Fugaku slowly sat down, covering his eyes.
"What you did this time was too radical. If Yugito had taken action, you wouldn't have been able to stop the two Jinchuuriki."
"I had no choice but to help you quickly control Killer B."
Fugaku was panting, and his eyes ached. His vision became blurry again.
Natsuki felt a sense of shame seeing how much Fugaku was thinking about him.
His confidence in provoking Kumogakure stemmed from the fact that the pupil power of his several Mangekyō Sharingan combined, surpassing that of an ordinary Mangekyō.
Eternal Mangekyo was only a matter of time.
The second-level Susanoo alone could already put Killer B at a disadvantage. If necessary, he would directly activate the third-level Susanoo.
No one here could match him, and now he was already the strongest in Konoha.
Uchiha no longer needed to cater to Konoha's wishes.
"Clan leader, is your vision blurred?"
