Chapter 84: Yhwach's New Suit and The Ballroom: Zaegar's Chaos
Yhwach: (In thought ) I am going to kill you Ozpin.
Yhwach thought to himself as he walked back to his room with several bags lining his only arm. Glynda had been.....nice....enough to take him on a "Small" shopping spree the day after the four of them, Yhwach, Zaegar, Ozpin, Glynda, and James all talked. Four hours in Vale, twenty stores, and over fifty suits later Glynda found his perfect suit, as she had claimed. That fact did little to help what Yhwach believed was the first time he had ever been tortured.
He pushed open the door to his room and quickly plopped all of the bags down. He wordlessly walked to his bed and then fell face forward onto it. And then Yhwach lay there. He just lay there, exhausted for the first time in his life. Ginjo and Zaegar couldn't contain their laughter in his mind.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Oh man, I can't believe you survived that! Fifty suits? Really?
Zaegar: (Mental Link) And I thought fighting gods was tough! But enduring a shopping spree with Glynda and Ozpin? That's a whole new level of challenge!
Yhwach couldn't help but join in their laughter, though there was a hint of exasperation in his amusement.
Yhwach: (Mental Link) You two find this way too amusing. But I swear, if Ozpin ever suggests another shopping trip, I'm going to decline... very politely, of course.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Hey, look at the bright side, at least now you have a suit for the dance, right?
Zaegar: (Mental Link) And who knows, maybe you'll discover a newfound appreciation for fashion!
Yhwach rolled his eyes, but couldn't suppress a small chuckle at their banter.
Yhwach: (sarcastically) Oh joy, I can hardly contain my excitement.
As Yhwach lay on his bed, still recovering from the ordeal of the shopping spree, he heard a persistent knock on his door. At first, he hoped that whoever it was would take the hint and leave him in peace. But as the knocking persisted.
Yhwach: (grumbling to himself) Just when I thought I could finally relax...
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Looks like you've got a visitor! Maybe it's someone who wants to admire your new wardrobe.
Zaegar: (Mental Link) Or maybe it's Glynda coming to drag you on another shopping adventure!
Yhwach's eyes widened at the thought, and he quickly shook his head, silently praying that it wasn't the case.
Yhwach: (Mental Link) Please, anything but that.
Ruby: Professor Yhwach, do you have a minute to talk?
Ruby called out from behind the door. The Quincy king breathed in and then screamed into the mattress of his bed, which was barely heard by the young leader outside his door.
As Ruby's voice called out from behind the door, Yhwach's heart sank even further. He had been hoping for a moment of peace and quiet, but it seemed fate had other plans for him.
Yhwach: (Mental Link) Oh, you have got to be kidding me...
Inside his mind, Zaegar and Ginjo erupted into laughter at the unexpected turn of events.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Haha! Did you hear that, Zaegar? Yhwach screamed into his mattress like a little kid!
Zaegar: (Mental Link) Oh, this is priceless! Who would have thought the mighty Quincy king would be reduced to such antics?
Yhwach clenched his teeth in frustration, feeling his dignity slipping away with each passing moment.
Yhwach: (Mental Link) Laugh all you want, but this is hardly amusing.
Despite his annoyance, Yhwach forced himself to push off the bed and make his way to the door. He took a deep breath, attempting to regain his composure before opening it to face Ruby.
After just a few moments the door opened and Yhwach stood before Ruby with the same emotionless look as always.
Yhwach: Yes Ruby?
Ruby: I'm not bothering you am I, Professor?
Yhwach's mind churned with a mixture of frustration and resignation as he faced Ruby's inquiry. Though he maintained his composed exterior, internally, he couldn't help but roll his eyes at the situation.
Yhwach: (In thought) Oh, no, Ruby, you're not bothering me at all. I was just having a delightful conversation with my two esteemed companions here.
His mental remark dripped with sarcasm, eliciting a chuckle from both Zaegar and Ginjo within his mind.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Hahaha! Nice one, Yhwach. At least you're keeping your sense of humor intact.
Zaegar: (Mental Link) Ah, it's moments like these that make life interesting! Who knew being a Quincy king would come with such entertaining experiences?
Yhwach's lips twitched with the faintest hint of a smile, grateful for the brief respite their banter provided from the relentless trials of the day.
Yhwach: No, Ruby, you're not bothering me at all. What can I do for you?
Ruby put her hands behind her back as she twisted her foot on the ground.
Ruby: It's about.....that thing you told us to stop doing. Ya know what I mean?
Yhwach: You're referring to Torchwick and his operation, correct?
Ruby nodded.
Yhwach: What of it? There's not much you can do about it until things settle for a bit.
The young girl tilted her head to the side.
Ruby: Well, there's kind of a problem.
Yhwach raised an eyebrow.
Yhwach: What kind of problem?
Ruby nervously twisted her foot some more.
Ruby: Um.....see...We know you told us to wait on the investigation, but Blake is.....digging deeper into it.
Yhwach: And.....what is wrong with that? Trying to find connections through given means rather than directly pursuing them is a great way to find more information without stirring them into hiding.
Yhwach told her.
Ruby: That's not the problem, you know about the dance tonight right?
The Quincy King stiffened a bit as he turned his head to look back at the several bags next to his desk.
Yhwach: Yes I am aware of the dance, what does that have to do with Torchwick?
Ruby: Well Blake isn't going to it because she called it a waste of time and that we need to keep going after Torchwick.
Yhwach regarded Ruby with a puzzled expression.
Yhwach: I'm sorry, I don't quite follow. What's the issue here? If she's not actively chasing him, what harm is there in skipping the dance? It's an optional event, after all. For students, that is.
Ruby shook her head with concern.
Ruby: She's pushing herself too hard. She hasn't slept, her grades are dropping, and she's... she's really struggling. Blake's on the verge of burning out if this continues.
Yhwach raised his head in understanding.
Yhwach: I see, You're worried she's burning herself out. How can I help?
Ruby's face lit up as she began to smile.
Scene Break - The Library
Blake sat at a computer, bags under her eyes and her eyelids incredibly heavy. The light from the computer in front of her gave her eyes a glassy look. Sleep had probably eluded her far before her team and Yhwach took on Torchwick with his Paladin. The White Fang had plagued her thoughts since well before Beacon and the recent encounters with them have only depended on their prominence in her mind. She wanted....no, she needed to find them.
She was so caught up in watch she was doing she didn't notice Yhwach standing right behind her with Zaegar on his shoulder. Yhwach bent over next to her to look at what she was looking at and stayed quiet as she furiously typed on the keyboard.
Yhwach: Quite the busy one aren't you?
The cat faunus hissed and shot towards the ceiling from the sudden shock of Yhwach's voice. The Quincy king slowly stood up and looked up to the Library ceiling where Blake was hanging from a light.
Zaegar: How's it hanging bitch.
Blake's eyes narrowed and she slowly lowered herself before she dropped to the ground.
Yhwach: Do you have a moment to speak, Blake?
Blake: Y-yeah, you nearly scared me to death. What did you want to talk about?
She asked her teacher who looked at the computer she was at.
Yhwach: Recent White Fang activity... A significant Dust storage raid... You're seeking our friend's operation, aren't you?
Blake nodded as she put her hand on the chair she was sitting on for support, her exhaustion was very obvious.
Blake: Yes, yes I am. We need to find them.
Yhwach tilted his head to the side.
Yhwach: And why are you so hasty in this endeavor?
Blake looked back at him with surprise.
Blake: Why? Because they're hurting people! Torchwick isn't just going to wait for us, so why should we wait for him?
The Quincy king sighed before he turned around and waved Blake to follow him.
Yhwach: Come, let us talk in private.
The young faunus waited for a moment before she quickly followed him.
The two went to his and Glynda's empty classroom, as it was the weekend and no one had classes. He put her in the arena with her weapon and then stood in front of her, silently. Blake waited for him to move, speak, to do anything. But he did nothing.
Blake: Um, Professor why are we....why are we here?
Yhwach held out his right hand towards her weapon, still silent.
Blake: D-do you want me to fight you?
She asked to which Yhwach tilted his head in a kind of nod of acknowledgement. Blake's eyes widen as she looks towards the Quincy king, the quite literally immovable object and unstoppable force. He wanted her to fight him and she could barely stay awake. Blake gulped as Yhwach raised his right hand and beckoned her towards him.
Blake: Professor Yhwach I-
Yhwach: You wanted to pursue the White Fang and Torchwick, you will need a little more combat practice to do so. Come, let us practice.
Yhwach told her.
Blake: Professor you're way out of my league, I know that. What would be the point of me fighting you to beat them?
Yhwach shook his head.
Yhwach: Training with someone stronger than the person you wish to fight is a perfect method to ensure you win, so let's practice.
Blake blinked a couple of times before she unsheathed her blade. She stared the Quincy king down for a moment before she shouted out and ran towards him. She was about halfway to him when she tripped over her own feet and went crashing into the ground in front of him. The young faunus groaned before trying to get up with much difficulty. Yhwach sighed as he crouched down next to her.
Yhwach: How long has it been since you had a decent night's rest?
Blake: I'm fine.
She said through gritted teeth as she stood up, using her sheathe for support until she was on her feet. Yhwach took a step back.
Yhwach: If you are fine, attack me.
Blake raised her sword and charged again, actually making it to him this time around. The new Teacher, however, quickly turned and used his hand to push the girl away causing her to fall. She groaned as she tried to get up, even slower this time.
Yhwach: How long has it been Blake?
She took a deep breath as she tried to get up.
Blake: A-About three weeks. Ever since the docks.
Tgwacg nodded as she got back on her feet.
Yhwach: Do you know what exhaustion does to the body?
The girl stood shakily.
Blake: What does that matter?
The Quincy king shook his head again.
Yhwach: Exhaustion affects not only your physical strength but also your reflexes, decision-making abilities, and overall cognitive function. In combat, these factors can mean the difference between victory and defeat. You must learn to recognize when your body needs rest, Blake. Pushing yourself beyond your limits will only lead to mistakes and vulnerability.
Yhwach shot across the arena and slipped his foot behind Blake's, knocking her off her feet and onto the ground. Her sword flew from her hand and skidded across the tiled floor.
Yhwach: In a fight, any of those things could be the difference between life and death. It is important to rest and relax so that your mind and body can be ready for the next fight.
He extended a hand to help her up, then rested his right hand on her shoulder.
Yhwach: I'm not suggesting you abandon your cause, but don't let it consume you. I've seen the consequences when it does, and they're never favorable. Take time to relax, spend moments with your friends. Life's too short to sacrifice it all for a cause, no matter how noble. The White Fang, Torchwick, Grimm—they're not worth sacrificing those moments for.
As Yhwach offered his wisdom and assistance to Blake, Zaegar couldn't resist but interject with his characteristic sarcasm.
Zaegar: (Mental Link) Haha, well isn't this touching? Yhwach, the mighty Quincy king, dispensing life advice like some sort of wise sage. Tell me, when did you become the poster child for self-care? Last I checked, you were too busy playing savior in the previous world we were in, never sleeping a single day.
Yhwach shot Zaegar a sharp look, a flicker of annoyance dancing in his eyes.
Yhwach: (Mental Link) That was a different time, Zaegar, with different circumstances. Besides, my experiences have taught me the importance of balance. I may not have always practiced what I preach, but that doesn't diminish the validity of my words.
Zaegar merely shrugged, his grin widening.
Zaegar: (Mental Link) Hey, I'm just saying, it's a bit rich coming from the guy who used to pride himself on being an unstoppable force. But hey, if you've had a change of heart and want to play the role of the wise mentor, who am I to judge?
Yhwach's lips twitched in amusement, a faint smile tugging at the corners of his mouth despite himself.
Yhwach: (Mental Link) Just consider it a sign of personal growth, Zaegar. We all have our moments of enlightenment.
As Yhwach and Zaegar bantered back and forth, Ginjo's voice chimed in with curiosity and a hint of confusion.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Hey, what are you all talking about? Fill me in here. I'm lost.
Zaegar, always ready with a quip, responded with a smirk.
Zaegar: (Mental Link) I'll tell you later, Ginjo. Right now, we've got a student in need of some guidance.
Blake looked up at her teacher for a moment before she nodded as she closed her eyes and took a deep breath out like a weight had been lifted from her shoulders. Suddenly her legs gave out on her and she began to collapse as her exhaustion finally set in. Yhwach caught her before she hit the ground, tucking his arm under her and picking her up. He slowly began to walk out of the classroom to find Ruby standing outside of the door. She smiled when she saw Blake happily asleep.
Ruby: It worked!
She half whispered.
Yhwach nodded.
Yhwach: Let's get her back to your dorm, the dance isn't for a few hours so she can rest for quite a while.
Ruby happily nodded and led him back to her dorm. As quietly as possible, Yhwach and Ruby got Blake situated in her own bed before leaving her to sleep. The Quincy king began to silently leave the young leader on her own.
Ruby: Hey Professor. Thanks.
Yhwach smiled lightly as he turned away from the girl.
Yhwach: You're welcome.
His light smile disappeared for a moment as his scroll buzzed and he pulled it from his pocket. It was a pre-set alarm for a reacquiring meeting.
Scene Break - Later, At the Beacon Courtyard
Yhwach leaned back, looking at Cardin with a mixture of intrigue and weariness.
Yhwach: Let me see if I understand this correctly. You felt the need to apologize to Velvet for your previous actions, despite Coco's objections. So, you took her out for an apology dinner, and now you're...what, exactly? Just give me the condensed version. I've been awake for too long to digest elaborate tales.
Seated beside Cardin, Zaegar huffed in agreement, his eyes scanning the courtyard with a hint of impatience.
It was their usual meditation session, a ritual meant to temper Cardin's volatile temper and to quell Yhwach's burgeoning frustration with certain stubborn students. Some individuals simply seemed resistant to instruction, a fact that grated on Yhwach's nerves more than he cared to admit.
Cardin: Well alright-
Cardin started with a long sigh.
( Flashback, to several weeks ago )
Cardin: -I went to team CVFY's dorm, to apologize to Velvet for the way I treated her, and of course, It was there that I meant my first wall.
Coco: And WHY would I let you see her?
A very angry, very sassy, Coco told Cardin as he stood on the other side of Team CVFY's door.
Cardin: Please Coco, I really do want to apologize. I'm not here to hurt anybody.
Coco pulled her sunglasses down to give Cardin a spine-chilling look.
Coco: That ain't a valid reason pal, now if you don't leave I'm going to get my mini-gun.....and I will use it.
Cardin's eyes widened and he became sickly pale but before Coco could make good on her promise she was pulled from the door and it shut behind her.
From beyond it, Cardin could hear a muffled argument. It went on for a few minutes before the dorm door opened and Velvet peeked out from behind it
Velvet: H-Hello Cardin. Y-You wanted...Did you want to speak to me?
With a nervous chuckle, Cardin scratched the back of his head.
Cardin: H-Hi, Velvet.....look I-uh.....I want to apologize for how I treated you and how I...Well, how much of a jerk I was.
Velvet's ears bent behind her head out of remembrance of what Cardin had done several weeks ago.
Velvet: Its-its alright. T-Thank you for your apology.
Velvet said quietly before she tried to shut the door.
Cardin: Wait!
Cardin said quickly as he tried to keep the door from shutting. Velvet's ears perked back up out of surprise and from behind the door the sound of a mini-gun spinning to life became louder and louder.
Cardin quickly took a step back.
Cardin: I want to make up for what I did to you!
The sound of the motorized barrel spinning came screeching to a stop while Velvet's ears perked up.
Velvet: M-Make it....up?
Cardin: Y-Yeah. Maybe, if you want to, I can take you out to dinner or something.
Cardin said while he scratched the back of his head.
Velvet: A-Are you...Are you asking me out on a date?
The blonde-haired boy's face turned bright red before he began to stutter.
Cardin: I-I didn't mean it like that! I'm not saying that you're not pretty or anything, wait I mean-
Velvet began to blush before she spoke.
Velvet: T-that sounds.....nice.
Cardin's face cleared, mostly out of shock before he began to smile.
Cardin: Does this Saturday sound alright? At around Seven?
The brown-haired faunus smiled.
Velvet: I'd like that.
(End of Flashback)
Zaegar burst into laughter, clutching his stomach as if he might split in half from the force of his amusement.
Zaegar: Hahaha! Oh, Cardin, you sly dog! Taking Velvet out on a date to apologize? That's rich! Who knew you had it in you to be so smooth? Or maybe Velvet just has a thing for guys who insult her and then try to make it up with dinner!
Yhwach shot Zaegar a disapproving look, though there was a hint of amusement in his eyes.
Yhwach: Zaegar, that was uncalled for. While Cardin's attempt at reconciliation may not have been the smoothest, it takes courage to apologize and make amends. Let's try to be supportive, shall we?
Zaegar wiped away a tear of laughter, still chuckling under his breath.
Zaegar: Oh, come on, Yhwach! You have to admit, it's a bit funny. But hey, if it works out for them, who are we to judge? Maybe Cardin's got a softer side after all.
Yhwach sighed, shaking his head slightly.
Yhwach: So... Miss Scarlatina and you are attending the dance tonight, I presume?
Cardin: Yeah, it sort of... happened. We started hanging out, and it just continued.
Yhwach nodded thoughtfully.
Yhwach: I understand. Just make sure you treat her well. You've caused her plenty of pain already.
Cardin: I learned my lesson, after all, you're the one who taught it, remember?
Cardin said with a smile, Zaegar snickering beside him. Yhwach's lips curved slightly.
Yhwach: Indeed, that was a memorable day.
The blonde-haired boy glanced at his teacher, a hint of uncertainty in his eyes.
Cardin: You say that like you enjoyed throwing me through part of a wall.
Yhwach: I did enjoy it, it was quite enjoyable actually.
The Quincy king said with a closed-eyed smile on his face.
Cardin: You didn't really enjoy it that much did you?
Yhwach quit smiling and turned to Cardin with a serious expression.
Yhwach: Would you like for me to throw you through another one so that I may relive my enjoyment?
Cardin snapped his back straight with a fearful look.
Cardin: NO!
Yhwach smirked.
Yhwach: I didn't think so.
Zaegar glanced mischievously at Cardin, a playful glint in his eyes.
Zaegar: Oi, if Yhwach can do it, then surely I can have a go too, right?
Cardin's eyes widened in alarm, his heart pounding in his chest as he realized he might be in for another rough ride.
Cardin: W-wait, you're not serious, are you?
But before he could protest any further, Zaegar lifted his tiny dragon finger, channeling his telekinetic power. With a mischievous grin, he sent Cardin hurtling through the air, crashing through several walls with a resounding cacophony.
Yhwach watched the spectacle unfold with a mixture of amusement and exasperation, shaking his head at Zaegar's antics.
Yhwach: Zaegar, really? Must you indulge in such childish behavior?
Zaegar turned to Yhwach, his expression innocent and his head tilted to the side.
Zaegar: What? I was just having a bit of fun! Besides, Cardin needs all the training he can get.
Yhwach sighed, though there was a faint trace of amusement in his eyes.
Yhwach: Well, I suppose there's no harm done... this time.
Timeskip - A Few Hours Later
Yhwach cursed every fiber of his existence as he tried to fix his tie onto his neck. He was actually dressed in an actual suit with a shirt and shoes. The suit in question had a white overcoat with a white blazer underneath it, paired with a black shirt and a white tie. His pants were white, matching the overcoat, and he wore black boots to complete the ensemble. It was a far cry from his usual attire, and he felt incredibly uncomfortable in it. But of everything he had done to get ready, it was the tie that was his downfall.
( Yhwach's suit Image )
Zaegar and Ginjo couldn't contain their laughter, their mental voices wheezing with amusement within Yhwach's mind.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Hahaha! Look at you, Yhwach, all dressed up like some fancy nobleman! Who would've thought we'd ever see the day?
Zaegar: (Mental Link) Haha, I never thought I'd live to see the day! You look positively dashing if I do say so myself.
Yhwach's mental voice echoed with annoyance as he responded to Ginjo and Zaegar's jests.
Yhwach: (Mental Link) Spare me your amusement. This attire is not of my choosing. It's Glynda's doing, forcing me into this nobleman facade. I feel utterly misplaced, like a wolf in sheep's clothing.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Well, look at the bright side, at least you'll make a lasting impression at the dance tonight. Who knows, maybe you'll even catch the eye of some lucky lady.
Zaegar: (Mental Link) Indeed! You never know what the night might hold. Maybe you'll discover a newfound appreciation for formal attire.
There was a soft knock at his door Looking to his door, he tossed the damned cloth from hell onto his desk before he opened his door. As he opened it wide, he nearly snapped his doorknob from its socket. Glynda stood in a full black dress with a transparent purple veil draped over her shoulders and a pair of black high heels. Her hair was in its normal bun but now a strand of curled hair hung in front of her face.
Yhwach regarded Glynda with a stoic expression.
Yhwach: Glynda, what brings you to my room? I assume it's not merely to admire my impeccable fashion sense.
Glynda: I came to see if you were ready yet. Though it sounds like you're having trouble with something.
Yhwach glanced at his tie, his expression turning deadly serious.
Yhwach: Just a minor inconvenience.
Glynda covered her mouth as she held back a laugh before she moved into the room.
Glynda: Here, let me help.
After just a few minutes, Glynda had perfectly tied the white cloth around his neck. She patted the place where the tie met his chest with a smile, however, Yhwach was already despising the tight feeling around his neck.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Hahaha! Look at you, Yhwach, all tied up and ready for the ball! You're positively radiant!
Zaegar: (Mental Link) Haha, I can't breathe! You look like you're about to choke, Yhwach! Maybe we should call for Glynda to loosen that tie a bit before you pass out!
Yhwach's mental voice rumbled with irritation as he endured their mockery.
Yhwach: (Mental Link) You two find this far too amusing. And no, I don't need Glynda to loosen it. I'll manage.
Despite his discomfort, Yhwach maintained his composure as he turned his attention back to Glynda, his expression betraying none of his internal turmoil.
Yhwach: Thank you, Glynda. I appreciate the assistance.
Glynda smiled warmly at him, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
Glynda: It was my pleasure, Yhwach. You clean up quite nicely if I do say so myself.
Yhwach's lips twitched with the faintest hint of a smile, though it was more out of politeness than genuine amusement.
Yhwach: Your flattery is duly noted, Glynda.
Glynda tilted her head slightly, her smile faltering just a bit as she observed Yhwach's reaction.
Glynda: Do you have a partner for the dance tonight, Yhwach?
Yhwach's expression darkened at the implication of her question. His eyes narrowed slightly as he processed her words, realizing the underlying meaning behind them. Meanwhile, within his mind, Ginjo and Zaegar erupted into laughter once again, their mental voices echoing with amusement.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Oh, this is rich! Looks like Glynda's asking if you've got a date for the dance, Yhwach. I didn't know you were such a ladies' man!
Zaegar: (Mental Link) Haha, Yhwach, you sly dog! Keeping your romantic endeavors a secret from us, are you? Who's the lucky lady, hmm?
Yhwach's irritation flared as he mentally scolded his two companions.
Yhwach: (Mental Link) Enough! This is hardly the time for your jokes. Glynda is merely asking if I have someone accompanying me to the dance, nothing more.
Glynda, unaware of the mental exchange occurring within Yhwach's mind, observed his darkening expression with concern.
Glynda: Is everything alright, Yhwach? You seem... tense.
Yhwach composed himself, forcing a neutral expression onto his features as he addressed Glynda.
Yhwach: Everything is fine, Glynda. Thank you for your concern. As for your question, no, I do not have a partner for the dance. I'll be attending solo.
Zaegar: (Mental Link) Hey, Yhwach, I've got an idea. Why don't you ask Ophis to be your dance partner? You know, the girl who's head over heels for you? It could be fun!
Yhwach's expression hardened at the suggestion, his eyes narrowing with disapproval.
Yhwach: (Mental Link) Absolutely not. I have no intention of indulging in such frivolities, especially with someone like Ophis.
Ginjo chimed in with a more cautious tone, sensing Yhwach's growing irritation.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Yeah, I agree with Yhwach on this one. It wouldn't be fair to lead Ophis on like that, especially if you have no romantic interest in her.
Zaegar let out a sigh, his playful demeanor fading as he recognized Yhwach's seriousness.
Zaegar: (Mental Link) Alright, alright, I get it. No need to get all worked up about it. Just trying to lighten the mood, you know?
Yhwach took a deep breath, attempting to quell the rising tension within him.
Yhwach: (Mental Link) I appreciate the sentiment, Zaegar. But let's focus on the matter at hand. The dance is approaching, and I have no intention of attending with a partner.
Glynda: Well, if you change your mind, you know where to find me. I'll be attending as well, and I wouldn't mind some company.
Yhwach offered her a small nod of acknowledgment, silently grateful for her offer of support.
Yhwach: Thank you, Glynda. I'll keep that in mind.
With a final nod, Glynda bid him farewell and exited his room, leaving Yhwach alone with his thoughts once again.
Yhwach sighed inwardly, the weight of the upcoming dance pressing down on him like a heavy burden. Despite his reluctance to attend, he knew that it was an important event for the students of Beacon, and he couldn't simply avoid it.
As he glanced once more at his reflection in the mirror, he straightened his tie with a resigned sigh. If he was going to endure the dance, he might as well do so with dignity and grace, even if it meant enduring a night of discomfort and socializing.
Timeskip - Beacon's ballroom
As Yhwach entered the ballroom, the atmosphere was lively with music playing and students dancing. He felt out of place in his formal attire, but he maintained his composure as he navigated through the crowd. Suddenly, he heard a familiar voice calling out to him.
Yang: Hey, Professor Yhwach! Looking fancy tonight!
Yhwach turned to see Yang approaching him with a smile. Despite his discomfort, he returned her greeting with a polite nod.
Yhwach: Thank you, Yang. You look quite stunning yourself.
Yang grinned, pleased with the compliment.
Yang: Thanks! So, what brings you to the dance? Planning to bust out some moves on the dance floor?
Yhwach chuckled softly, shaking his head.
Yhwach: Not exactly. I'm simply here to observe and ensure that everything runs smoothly. Besides, dancing has never been my forte.
Yang laughed, understanding his sentiment.
Yang: Fair enough. Hey, just wanted to let you know that Professor Ozpin is up on the second floor with the general from Atlas. Figured you might want to go up there with them.
Yhwach's interest was piqued at the mention of Ozpin and the Atlas general. He nodded in appreciation to Yang.
Yhwach: Thank you for informing me, Yang. I'll head up there shortly.
Yang grinned and gave him a playful salute before disappearing back into the crowd.
Yhwach began to ascend the stairs leading to the second floor, Ironwood turned his head towards him slightly and suddenly jerked his head completely towards him when he noticed Yhwach. Ozpin followed suit, however, he did so with a smile tugging at his face.
As Yhwach approached Ozpin and Ironwood, he inclined his head in greeting.
Yhwach: Good evening, Ozpin. General.
Ironwood nodded curtly in response, while Ozpin's smile remained affable.
Ozpin: Yhwach, it's a pleasure to see you here. I hope you're enjoying the festivities.
Yhwach nodded politely, though his expression remained impassive.
Yhwach: It's... certainly an experience.
As the conversation continued, Zaegar, ever mischievous, took the opportunity to make his presence known. With a sudden burst of Reiatsu, he popped out from beneath Yhwach's suit jacket, his tiny dragon form hovering in the air between Yhwach and the other two men.
Zaegar: Surprise!
Ozpin and Ironwood were both startled at the unexpected appearance of the tiny dragon, their eyes widening in surprise. Yhwach, meanwhile, merely sighed, his patience wearing thin.
Yhwach: Zaegar, what in the world are you doing?
Zaegar grinned wickedly, his eyes glinting with mischief.
Zaegar: Oh, just thought I'd join the party, Yhwach! After all, what's a dance without a little chaos, hmm?
Yhwach pinched the bridge of his nose, fighting the urge to roll his eyes.
Yhwach: Zaegar, this is hardly the time or place for your antics. Please behave yourself.
But Zaegar only laughed, his tiny form vibrating with excitement.
Zaegar: Oh, come on, Yhwach! Where's your sense of fun? Besides, I have something truly diabolical planned for tonight!
Yhwach's eyes narrowed with suspicion, a feeling of dread creeping over him.
Yhwach: And what, pray tell, do you have planned?
Zaegar's grin widened, his eyes glinting with mischief.
Zaegar: Oh, just a little something to spice up the evening. Let's just say, it involves a certain dance competition and a twist that nobody will see coming!
Yhwach's apprehension deepened, a sense of foreboding settling in the pit of his stomach.
Yhwach: Zaegar, whatever you're planning, I highly doubt it's appropriate for this event.
But Zaegar merely cackled with glee, his tiny form darting around Yhwach's head in a whirlwind of excitement.
Zaegar: Oh, trust me, Yhwach! It'll be a night to remember! Muahaha!
As Ginjo's expression turned to one of terror within Yhwach's mind, he urgently warned Yhwach to stop Zaegar before things got out of hand. But before Yhwach could react, Zaegar had already unleashed his chaotic plan.
With a mischievous cackle, Zaegar caused dildos to rain down from the ceiling, followed by a sudden flood of lava and water that surged through the ballroom, sending students scrambling for safety. As if that weren't enough, Zaegar added slime into the mix, causing everyone in the ballroom to become stuck in the sticky mess.
As Yhwach found himself trapped in the sticky slime alongside Ozpin and James Ironwood, his expression darkened with frustration and annoyance. He struggled against the gooey substance, his attempts to free himself proving futile as the slime only seemed to cling tighter.
Meanwhile, Ozpin remained surprisingly calm amidst the chaos, sipping his drink with a serene expression on his face. He glanced over at Yhwach, his eyes twinkling with amusement despite their predicament.
Ozpin: Well, Yhwach, it seems we find ourselves in quite a sticky situation, wouldn't you agree?
Yhwach shot Ozpin a glare, his irritation was palpable even through the mess covering his face.
Yhwach: This is hardly the time for jests, Ozpin. We need to find a way out of here before things escalate further.
Small Timeskip - an Hour later
Zaegar appeared before Yhwach, bowing low with a mischievous grin on his tiny dragon face.
Zaegar: My sincerest apologies, Yhwach-sama, for the... unexpected turn of events. It seems my little prank got a bit out of hand.
Yhwach's expression darkened further, his irritation boiling over as he glared at the tiny dragon.
Yhwach: "A bit out of hand" is an understatement, Zaegar. You've caused nothing but chaos and inconvenience with your reckless behavior.
Ginjo, from within Yhwach's mind, erupted into laughter at the sight of Zaegar bowing before the furious Yhwach.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Hahaha! Look at him grovel, Yhwach! He's practically begging for mercy!
Yhwach's mental voice rumbled with barely contained anger as he addressed Ginjo.
Yhwach: (Mental Link) This is no laughing matter, Ginjo. Zaegar's actions have endangered everyone in this ballroom, including us. It's time he faced the consequences of his foolishness.
Ginjo's laughter only intensified at Yhwach's stern tone, though he wisely remained silent, sensing Yhwach's growing wrath.
Yhwach: Zaega-
His words halted abruptly as he noticed a conspicuous absence in the room. With a narrowed gaze, he inhaled deeply, his senses reaching out to trace the missing presence.
Ozpin's concern was palpable as he addressed Yhwach.
Ozpin: Yhwach, what's wrong?
Yhwach's focus remained fixed, his tone sharp with urgency.
Yhwach: Ruby Rose is not here, and I sense her heading towards the CCT tower.
Ozpin and Glynda: What?!
Ozpin and Glynda asked at the same time. At the same time, Ironwood took one step onto the second floor from the stairs with a rather displeased look on his face.
James: Ozpin, my men posted at the CCT tower aren't responding.
Ozpin's eyes widened before he turned to Yhwach who was already moving passed Ironwood as he ripped off his tie.
Glynda quickly followed after her fellow teacher with Ironwood behind both of them. Ozpin, on the other hand, went to check on their downstairs guest.
Scene Break - Outside the CCT Tower
The three teachers and Zaegar walked together with Yhwach having taken off his white overcoat and blazer, holding it over his shoulder, and unbuttoned the top of his shirt to better fight in. The Quincy king led the group to the door of the CCT building to find that two Atlas soldiers were knocked out cold. Ironwood quickly passed the group to check them but Yhwach ignored them as he moved towards the door.
Yhwach: Their fine General, I can hear and sense their breath from here.
He said as he kicked down the doors to the lobby of the entrance to the building.
Zaegar: (Mental Link) Ruby's scent is getting stronger. She went up the elevator, the top floor it seemed like.
Zaegar said as he took another breath in.
Zaegar: (Mental Link) And there's a rather overpowering smell of dust here, it's just enough to overpower the scent of whoever it belongs to.
Ironwood stood up from over his men and quickly followed behind as Yhwachpointed at the elevator.
Yhwach: You both go up the elevator, I'll take the faster route.
Glynda's eyebrow raised.
Glynda: Fast....way?
Yhwach took a step outside before he turned back and then looked straight up. Glynda's eyes widen.
Glynda: Oh.
It must have been a strange sight to those who didn't know what was going on when they saw a man with long black hair and a blazer between his teeth as he scaled up the CCT tower at blazing speed.
Yhwach made it to the top of the tower where a few windows were. He peered inside to find Ruby standing against what he could assume was another woman disguised in a suit that was wreaked of dust. Zaegar let out a growl as Yhwach embedded his fingers into the wall he clung to and then jumped back to gain momentum before he crashed through the window he was peering in. The Quincy king landed in between the two in a crouched stance with his back turned to Ruby and his eyes set fiercely on the woman who infiltrated the C.C.T Tower.
The woman's astonishment quickly turned to terror as a low growl resonated from Zaegar's throat while Yhwach dropped the blazer, holding it with his teeth.
Ruby: Professor!
Yhwach rose to his feet with a deliberate pace, his eyes emanating a faint, ominous glow.
Yhwach: Step away, Ruby. Glynda and the General are en route. Whoever you are, cease your actions, and perhaps you'll sustain fewer injuries before I deliver you to the authorities.
Women: Oh that's cute, are you gonna bark at me too?
The woman taunted as she placed a hand on her hip.
Zaegar chuckled from Yhwach's shoulder, his tiny dragon form radiating with mischievous energy.
Zaegar: Nah, Yhwach won't need to bark. With me around, he's got all the bite he needs!
With a sudden burst of power, Zaegar released an earth-shattering roar, the force emanating from his tiny dragon body like a shockwave. The woman's eyes widened in disbelief as the remaining windows in the room shattered, sending glass flying in all directions.
Ruby and the woman were both thrown back by the sheer force of Zaegar's roar, their bodies tumbling through the air. Yhwach remained rooted to the spot, his eyes never leaving the woman as she and Ruby were propelled away from him.
However, before anything worsens, the elevator doors open causing Ruby and Yhwach to look back at the arrival of their comrades. However, that one moment gave way to the woman's shot to fire a dust arrow at the Quincy king in front. Unfortunately for her, Yhwach's ear twitched at the sound of the arrow released from her bow. He twisted all at once and quickly brought up a reishi shield as the arrow exploded in a ball of flame.
The force from the explosion ripped Yhwach's expensive shirt from his body as he did his best to shield the others from what force his shield didn't catch. The Quincy king's eyes flashed for a moment before he twisted his hand, in turn twisting his reishi shield's incantation markings before Zaegar began to devour the dust explosion in a single gulp. As the bright light faded, the group realized that their culprit was gone.
Glynda: Zaegar can you find them?
Glynda asked quickly coming to Yhwach's side as the hollow began to sniff the air like an animal. A low growl came from Zaegar's throat before he answered.
Zaegar: She was clever, using the same dust from that explosion to line her disguise. With all the dust left over in the air, I can't get a good trace of her.
Glynda: But it was a woman?
Glynda asked Zaegar, the Quincy king stood tall with a nod as he picked his white overcoat up from the ground. Ironwood walked passed all of them and inspected the massive computer system that was at the end of the room.
Glynda: Miss Rose, are you alright?
Glynda asked the young leader as she turned to inspect her.
Ruby: I'm fine, who was that?!
Glynda: That is what we are going to try and figure out, and you are sure you are fine?
Glynda asked again. Ruby nodded, still holding her scythe in hand.
Glynda: Good-
With a flick of her wrist, her riding crop extended and she began to assault the poor girl with a few hits here and there.
Glynda: -You should have known better than to run after this on your own!
Yhwach draped his white overcoat over his shoulder as he walked around the room, searching for something he could follow.
James: I don't see anything amiss in the system but I'll have my men look through it more closely, have you found anything?
Ironwood asked as he looked over to find Yhwach using his senses to try and pick up a trail. After a few moments, the Quincy king shook his head with a displeased look on his face.
James: Damn it.
Ironwood muttered before he looked up at Ruby.
Glynda: Miss Rose, why don't you return to the party? You can give us a detailed report tomorrow before your team's first mission.
Glynda told the young girl who looked quizzical about the entire thing.
Ruby: But what about-
Yhwach: Ruby, follow Glynda's instructions. Trust me, we have matters under control for the evening.
Yhwach said as he looked at the girl.
Yhwach: So go back to the party, enjoy what is left of your night but stay aware, stay safe.
Ruby slowly nodded at the memory of her ferocity against the woman she was chasing.
Ruby: O-Okay.
With that Ruby left the four alone as they could only level in their thoughts until the next day.
Timeskip - The Next day
Yhwach stood quietly to the side as Ruby began to try and explain the previous night to Ironwood, Ozpin, and Glynda. He wasn't really listening as he had a splitting headache for some reason he didn't really know. He didn't even know he could get headaches.
Ginjo's voice echoed within Yhwach's mind, breaking through his haze of discomfort.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Hey, Yhwach, I think I might know why you're getting that headache. It could be because of one of the students, or perhaps Zaegar is up to something again.
Yhwach grimaced at the mention of the headache, his irritation growing as he attempted to pinpoint the source of his discomfort.
Yhwach: (Mental Link) It's possible. Zaegar does have a knack for causing trouble, after all. But I highly doubt any of the students would be capable of causing me such distress.
As Yhwach contemplated the cause of his headache, Zaegar's voice abruptly cut through the mental conversation with a tone laced with anger and malice.
Zaegar: (Mental Link) You dare accuse me of causing your headache, Ginjo? How dare you! You're just trying to deflect blame away from yourself, as usual. Typical of a fullbringer to shirk responsibility and blame others for their own incompetence!
Ginjo's expression darkened at Zaegar's accusation, his eyes narrowing with a mixture of surprise and indignation.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) What?! Zaegar, that's uncalled for! You know I would never purposefully cause harm to Yhwach or anyone else. You're the one who's always stirring up trouble with your reckless behavior!
Yhwach's headache intensified at the heated exchange between Ginjo and Zaegar, his patience wearing thin as he attempted to diffuse the situation.
Yhwach: (Mental Link) Enough, both of you! Arguing like this won't solve anything. We need to focus on finding the cause of my headache and addressing it before it gets any worse.
But Zaegar's anger only seemed to grow, his tiny dragon form quivering with rage as he glared at Ginjo.
Zaegar: (Mental Link) Fine, but mark my words, Ginjo. You'll regret throwing me under the bus like this. I'll make you pay for your treachery, and when I'm through with you, you'll wish you'd never crossed paths with a beautiful harmless hollow like me!
Ginjo's expression shifted from surprise to a more serious, almost deadpan demeanor as he processed Zaegar's response.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Well, that pretty much confirms it. Yhwach, I think Zaegar might be the one causing you these headaches.
Yhwach nodded in agreement, his frustration evident in his tone as he addressed Zaegar.
Yhwach: (Mental Link) Zaegar, were you the one causing me these headaches?
Zaegar's demeanor shifted instantly, his tiny dragon form adopting an innocent facade as he spoke.
Zaegar: (Mental Link) No way, Yhwach! This innocent hollow did no such thing! I've just been hanging out in your mind, minding my own business.
Ginjo's expression remained unchanged, his skepticism evident as he regarded Zaegar.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Nice try, Zaegar, but you're not fooling anyone. You're not exactly subtle with your mischief.
Yhwach sighed inwardly, his headache worsening with each passing moment as the tension between Ginjo and Zaegar continued to escalate.
Yhwach: (Mental Link) Regardless of who's responsible, we need to find a solution to this headache before it becomes unbearable. Zaegar, if you truly had nothing to do with it, then we'll need to explore other possibilities.
Zaegar let out a frustrated huff, his facade crumbling as he reverted to his usual mischievous demeanor.
Zaegar: (Mental Link) Fine, fine! But mark my words, Ginjo, you'll regret accusing me of something I didn't do. And when I find out who's really behind this, they'll pay dearly!
Ozpin: -That will do Miss Rose. Why don't you return to your team and prepare for your mission today?
Ruby: That's it?
Ruby asked with curiosity and a little shock.
Ozpin: That's it.
Ozpin's words lingered in the air. Ruby blinked twice, her gaze scanning over the other teachers, Zaegar included. She nodded once more before swiftly departing, her repeated pressing of the elevator button betraying her impatience. As the doors closed, Yhwach reached up, massaging his temples.
Ozpin: Yhwach? Are you feeling unwell?
The Quincy king lowered his hand, revealing a furrowed brow as he turned to face his colleagues, their concern evident.
Yhwach: Just a headache. I'll manage. Have we reached a decision regarding my upcoming mission?
Yhwach asked as he walked towards Ozpin's desk.
Ozpin: Well, the only reasonable mission for a team to shadow you on would be a recon-focused search and destroy mission with small-level engagements.
Ozpin said looking from the Quincy king to the General.
Ozpin: That is the only thing your scans picked up around Mount Glenn, right James?
Ironwood nodded.
James: A few packs of Beowulfs and a few herds of Goliaths should be all you might have to deal with.
Zaegar: Nothing too exciting then, maybe a stray Ursa or Death Stalker might make things interesting for us.
Zaegar said as Yhwach moved closer to the table.
Yhwach: When does the mission start?
Ozpin looked at his computer, checking the time before he answered with a smile.
Ozpin: In an hour.
Zaegar's head looked down as a pale aura surrounded him as if he were ill.
Glynda and Ironwood exchanged glances while Ozpin and Yhwach only grinned.
Zaegar: I'll never get to sleep again....whhhyyyy....
The hollow mumbled before Yhwach turned around and walked towards the elevator.
Zaegar: Whhhhhyyyyyyy....
Scene Break - Team RWBY's Dorm
The four girls of Team RWBY were standing over the newest addition to their room, the small dog that Ruby and Yang's father sent in the mail, Zwei. While Blake was hissing at the small canine from her top bunk a knock came from their dorm's door.
Ruby: I'll get it, Yang look for his food!" Ruby shouted from behind the door before she opened it to find Yhwach standing with his usual stoic presence with Zaegar sitting on his shoulder as usual.
Ruby: Oh, Hi Professor, Hi Zaegar! How can we help you?
Yhwach went to speak only for a loud rumble to be heard as Ruby leaned back and Yhwach peeked his head in to find Zwei buried under a pile of cans.
Yhwach: What is that?
Yhwach asked as he noticed the small dog which immediately looked up at him and then proceeded to allow his tongue to hang from the side of his head.
Ruby: Oh, that's Zwei he's our do-
Yhwach didn't quite hear the last bit of that as Blake leaped from her bed, onto the desk next to it, and then onto Yhwach's other shoulder where she hissed again at the small canine.
Blake: It's a demon sent from hell!
Everyone in the room looked at the fearful faunus as Zwei uncovered himself and ran up to Yhwach's leg and then propped himself up on it with his front paws and then barked happily as it stared up at them.
Zaegar's eyes narrowed into slits as he glared down at Zwei, his tiny dragon form radiating with malice as he prepared to unleash a torrent of insults.
Zaegar: You disgusting, vile fucking creature! How fucking dare you show your disgusting wretched face in the presence of greatness! You're nothing but a pathetic fucking excuse for a dog, a worthless fucking mutt unworthy of even licking the dirt off my scales! You're an abomination, a pestilence upon this world, and you deserve nothing but scorn and ridicule!
Team RWBY's eyes widened in shock at Zaegar's sudden outburst, their mouths agape as they stared at the tiny dragon perched on Yhwach's shoulder. though the small dog seemed unfazed by the dragon's harsh words, continuing to wag its tail and bark happily.
Yhwach looked down at the dog with an intrigued look on his face. He reached up and plucked Blake from his head and tossed her back onto her bed.
Yhwach: This little creature isn't afraid of me?
Yhwach asked out loud before he bent down to the dog's height.
Ruby: Zwei is afraid of no one!
Ruby cried out happily.
Zaegar's eyes narrowed further as he observed Zwei's fearless demeanor, a dark grin spreading across his tiny dragon face.
Zaegar: We'll see about that.
With a sinister chuckle, Zaegar's gaze bore into Zwei, a silent promise of mischief and mayhem lingering in the air.
Yhwach: You don't fear me?
The Quincy king asked the dog to which he responded with a loud bark.
Yhwach: Hm...
Weiss: He's so brawve isn't he?!
Weiss spoke up with what Yhwach had heard the kids call "An UWU face".
Yang: You alright professor, you look kinda strange, like Zaegar chewed on your hair while you were sleeping.
Yang said to which Yhwach instinctively rubbed through part of his hair.
Yhwach: Zaegar did that?
Yang's remark about Zaegar chewing on Yhwach's hair caught the attention of the entire room. Team RWBY, along with Zwei, turned their gaze towards the tiny dragon perched on Yhwach's shoulder, their expressions a mix of amusement and accusation.
Yang: Yeah, look! Even Zwei is pointing at him!
Yang exclaimed, pointing a finger towards Zaegar with a grin.
Zwei, seemingly catching onto the atmosphere, barked once more and pawed at the air in Zaegar's direction.
Zaegar gasped dramatically, his eyes widening in feigned innocence as he recoiled from the accusing fingers and paw.
Zaegar: How fucking dare you all accuse me of such heinous acts! I am a majestic and dignified hollow, not some lowly hair-chewing creature!
His voice dripped with exaggerated offense as he flapped his wings in indignation, his tiny form quivering with mock outrage.
Blake rolled her eyes at Zaegar's theatrics, while Ruby stifled a giggle behind her hand. Even Weiss couldn't help but smirk at the sight of the usually mischievous hollow trying to deflect the blame.
Weiss: Oh, please, Zaegar. We all know it's just your way of showing affection.
Weiss said with a playful wink, earning a snort of laughter from Yang and a bemused look from Blake.
Zaegar huffed indignantly, but the corners of his mouth twitched upwards despite his attempt to maintain his facade of offense.
Zaegar: Affection? Ridiculous! I'll have you know that chewing on hair is beneath my dignity as a hollow of superior intellect and cunning!
Yhwach's suspicion grew as he processed Yang's words about Zaegar's mischief. Turning his attention inward, he reached out to Ginjo through their mental link.
Yhwach: (Mental Link) Ginjo, did Zaegar really chew on my hair while I was sleeping?
Ginjo's response was immediate, confirming Yhwach's suspicions with a resigned tone.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Yeah, he did. Sorry, Yhwach. I guess he got a little carried away with his antics again.
Yhwach's expression remained unreadable as he absorbed Ginjo's confirmation. Without a word, he reached up and plucked Zaegar from his shoulder, the tiny hollow squirming in protest as Yhwach approached the window of Team RWBY's dorm room.
Zaegar's eyes widened in realization as he understood Yhwach's intentions, his protests growing more frantic as he struggled against Yhwach's grip.
Zaegar: Wait, wait! Yhwach, you can't be serious! I was just joking! It was all in good fun!
But Yhwach's resolve was firm as he opened the window, the cool breeze of the outside world brushing against his face as he prepared to enact his decision.
Yhwach: Your idea of "fun" has crossed the line, Zaegar. It's time you faced the consequences of your actions.
With a swift motion, Yhwach kicked Zaegar out of the window, the tiny hollow's shrieks echoing through the air as he tumbled out into the open sky.
Zaegar's cries faded into the distance as he disappeared from view, leaving Team RWBY and Yhwach to exchange bewildered glances.
Ruby: Um, Professor Yhwach, did you just... kick Zaegar out of the window?
Yhwach turned back to the room, his expression impassive as he closed the window behind him.
Yhwach: Yes, I did. Zaegar needed a reminder of boundaries. Now, about the mission. You four will be heading to Mount Glenn, correct?
Ruby and Yang chuckled at each other nervously while Blake continued to hiss at the dog from a desk with Weiss spinning around with the canine in her arms.
Yhwach: It concerns me that you will be attempting recon at such a place.
Ruby: Awe, are you worried about us?
Ruby asked but Yang took it differently.
Yang: What do you mean you're worried about us?!
Yhwach shook his head, silently indicating Blake and Weiss, prompting Yang to nervously laugh once more.
Yang: You know what, you're right.
Yhwach: I know. That's why I persuaded Ozpin to assign me a mission near the base of the mountain. Each of you has my number, so if something goes awry, contact me immediately.
Yhwach explained, his tone serious.
Yhwach: Now then, I suggest you all prepare as I am about to do. The next few days will be quite tedious for everyone, so be prepared... and be cautious.
With that, Yhwach turned and left.
