Chapter 356 Neglected

"What kind of stupid question is that? You're really attractive. That good-for-nothing nephew of mine is an idiot for ignoring you," I spoke, trying to sound like a supportive uncle.

"Then why?" She leaned on the table, her eyes searching for answers.

The pain she felt from being treated this way by her own husband was visible in her actions.

"Did you discuss this with him?" I asked, realizing at the last second that it was too easy for me to just fuck her. I had experienced a lot already, and to be honest, normal sex was no just too boring.

For me, it was about the anticipation before the main event – the build-up.

And in this moment, I had the perfect opportunity. No need for manipulation, just pure, raw emotions.

"I—I did," she sat back on the sofa. "He said that he was busy with work," she added.

'Busy with work?' I chuckled to myself.

That's an overused reason. It's either her husband finally realized he's attracted to the same sex, or he has a side chick already filling her role whenever she's not there for him.

The third thing was that he was obsessed with watching too much porn and indulging in it, causing his dopamine receptors to be messed up.

"M—Maybe he doesn't love me anymore?" she asked with teary eyes. Being neglected like this must have hurt a lot.

For a woman, feeling love was important. They were not built like men who could live just knowing that someone loved them.

For them, touch and physical interaction reassured them that their partner loved them.

Without that, they felt neglected and unwanted, even though most of the time, their husbands were just really tired from work and providing for the family, thinking about the long term and more.

There was a saying,

'Women think of the present, men think of the future'

That's why most men trade their time for money to provide.

But in this case, I doubted that was the issue.

Both of them had really good jobs and earned a lot of money. Moreover, her wife only came back home every 3 months, so this was really an unnatural response from him. Enjoy new chapters from empire

"Uncle Joon," she started sobbing, her fragile body trembling with the weight of her heartbreak.

She desperately covered her eyes with hands that seemed too frail to shield her from the pain that enveloped her. The crushing sensation of being unloved by the one she held dear proved too overwhelming.

As I witnessed her anguish, an emotion surged within me. It wasn't mere pity; it was something deeper, or should I say bigger.

Standing from my seat, I moved to sit beside her. I gently placed a hand on her quivering back, hoping to soothe the storm of emotions raging within her.

"Calm down, sweetie," I whispered, my voice carrying a comforting assurance. "Everything will be alright. I'm sure this is just a misunderstanding.

After hearing my reassurance, she leaned in, seeking refuge in the embrace of my arms. Her tear-streaked face pressed against my shoulder, and the weight of her despair echoed through each sob that escaped her lips.

"Just let it out. I'm here for you," I whispered softly into her ear, the warmth of my words intended to provide a sense of solace amid the storm of her emotions.

After a couple of minutes of crying she finally calmed down a bit .My shoulder was now soaked with her tears but it was alright . Seeing a women like her ,break into my shoulder was a good experience .

"I'm sorry, Uncle Joon, for showing you something so embarrassing," she said with a forced smile, gently pulling away.

Her eyes were still red, and her cheeks bore the mark of too much shed tears.

The authenticity of her emotions resonated with me, deepening my appreciation for her.

I offered her a gentle smile, my own eyes reflecting fake empathy for the pain she showed me.

"No need to apologize, sweetie. Emotions are never embarrassing, and it takes strength to share them," I reassured her, my voice filled with understanding.

"And besides," I added, my fingertips gently wiping away her tears, "you're really beautiful. If not for..." I paused.

"If not for what?" she asked, her gaze filled with curiosity

"N—nothing. I'm sorry," I shook my head, attempting to redirect the conversation.

"Tell me, Uncle Joon, please," she insisted, her eyes searching mine .

"You'll think poorly of me if I say it. It's better that you don't know," I replied, feigning a hurt expression, as if my silence was solely to preserve the sanctity of our relationship.

Her face flushed with realization, catching the meaning of my words.

"Y—You can do it," she stuttered, her eyes momentarily darting away from me.

An embarrassed flush colored her cheeks, as if her own words had caught her off guard.

"Are you sure? This is wrong, you know, and I don't want to take advantage of your fragile state. Forget it, let's forget this happening," I declared, taking a step back as I stood up.

However, before I could turn away, she reached out and held my arms.

"It's alright, Uncle Joon. If it's you, I don't mind it," she insisted.

"This is considered cheating," I shook my head, trying to sound serious. But deep inside, though, I couldn't deny a twinge of excitement.

"Do you think I'm pretty ? " She asked again.

"You are a very pretty . I would be lying if I said No. Just controlling myself right now is already very hard for me" I sighed , adding dramatic effect.

She looked at me and smiled, a subtle warmth spreading across her face. My words had reached a place deep within her, and in that moment, she felt recognized and wanted.

"Then it's alright if it's with you. If not you, I'm afraid someone else would take advantage of me," she added with an embarrassed tone, the honesty in her words mingling with a hint of lust.

"Are you sure?" I asked again.

"I still love Gu Ji, and I don't want to destroy our marriage. If it's you, then it will be okay, right, Uncle Joon?"
