Neurolink System in the Modern World

Chapter 371: Unexpected Benefits

Seeing how strongly he felt, there was no doubt he was dead serious about saving his family no matter what.

In a way, his love for his family was commendable, and I'd be a jerk not to agree with his request.

I made a mental note that I would grant his wish. Not because he would become my loyal slave, which would benefit me, but because I am a merciful person with a soft spot for things like this.

"Alright," I applied my suggestion on him, and this time, the satisfying sound of its success echoed in my ear.

"You're my loyal slave now , " I enforced my oath on him, ensuring his unwavering loyalty to me forever. With that, I secured myself a valuable insider within Cerebrum.

He wasn't just an ordinary pawn but someone with in-depth knowledge about these extraterrestrial beings.

"Hey, do you know where they're keeping the Gifteds for that new booster?" I asked him. The details about this memory can wait; my main focus was still finding Aiku's group and getting them out of this place.

"Don't worry, Master. I know you're looking for them, so I found out their location when I was hacking into the system," he replied with confidence.

Turns out, he was more useful than I thought.

"Good job," I commended him.

"Master, actually, I have something that would help you," he hurriedly walked towards one of the cabinets and took something. It looked like a smartwatch but much larger.

"What is that thing?" I asked.

"This is technology extracted from one of the alien ships. It can be used as a computer, but due to our limited understanding of alien tech, it can only connect to the mainframe of this place. However, with this, you can access the map of the entire base," he explained.

"Interesting, hand it over," I said, reaching out for the watch. I planned to put it on my arm, but before I could, a system notification popped up, surprising me.

[System: Advance Alien Tech Detected]

[System: Computing Synchronization Rate]

[System: 100% compatible with the system]

[System: Would you like to combine this tech with Psychic Tracking Geography ]

[Yes] or [No]

"Yes,"

The moment I said yes, the watch melted in my hands and sort of merged with my skin. It felt like lots of tiny needles were pricking me, making my hands itch. But, thanks to my high stats, I didn't even flinch.

[System : Combining ]

[System : Advance Tracking Map ]

[ Advance Tracking Map [Max]]

[Capable of generating highly detailed maps covering a radius of 10km, this ability allows for map creation through hands-on scouting, synchronization with digital and electrical technologies, as well as utilizing radio waves and Wi-Fi signals.

The host gains the ability to construct a virtual map and observe it in real-time, offering an intricate and comprehensive perspective.]

[3D View: The host can tap into real-time CCTV footage or emit psychic waves to construct a 3D model of an entire area within a 5km radius.]

'This is even more awesome than I thought,' I mused to myself. My earlier Psychic Tracking failed when I got disconnected from Aiku, but perhaps this new skill could do the trick.

I closed my eyes and was able to connect with all the existing digital and electrical equipments in this place, bypassing even the mainframe . Then just like that I was able to get a 3d model of this place and the prison ward.

The 3D model wasn't in color; it was more like black and white lines. However, I could zoom in to discern the features of their faces.

I even saw the prison where my grandfather was locked up, and they were still trying to figure out how to get him out of there. It seemed I still had a lot of time to spare, judging by how they just stood there.

"Bunch of idiots," I sneered at my copycat's lack of foresight. Did he really think they could brute force their way out of that dome?

That thing must also be built using some kind of alien technology. If that was the case, then using force was not the right choice.

Nevertheless, their incompetence gave me enough time to do my own thing and catch up to them.

Back to the lab.

'This power is really useful , but it drains a lot of Mind Power,' I thought to myself. I had to use another skill to replenish my power because it went beyond my current limit (weakened) .

"What happened to the watch?" Doctor Han exclaimed after seeing one of the most important tech in this place disappear out of thin air.

"Don't worry, I have the ability to integrate technology into my body," I answered.

"You can do that, Master? Fascinating," he added.

"Alright, I'll save your family, so just do your best to survive," I shifted the conversation and reassured him.

"Thank you, Master," he bowed his head.

I exited the laboratory and headed to Aiku's location immediately.

Just as I thought, the place cleverly cut off my Mind link, abruptly disconnecting me from my other puppets when I stepped into the area. But that didn't stop me. I kept going until I reached a metal door.

It wasn't too thick, so I easily demolished it with little effort.

"Aiku," I called out to them.

The trio was still deeply asleep because of pill overdosed.

I tried to use the Healing Power I acquired from Min Hee. However, it seemed that the damage was more psychological than physical.

"No time to waste," I clicked my tongue .

I lifted Aiku gently, then gave Changnim a hard slap on the face.
Experience tales with empire

"Wake up, you lazy ass, and carry Bing Da," I scolded him.

"I'm sorry, Master," he bowed his head and apologized.

"Stop talking and start moving,"

Changmim, still a little hazy, nodded in response and carried Bing Da up.

Though his powers might be weakened, he was still much stronger than a normal human, so carrying one lady was not an issue.

We ran outside the room, trying to escape the area of effect of the barrier.

Some people saw us, so I knocked them to the ground.

Once we were clear, I used my Mind Link to change their appearances and heal them. Then, we stole some lab coats to blend in with the surroundings
