One Piece: Capture the Goddess and Become Stronger [R-18]

Chapter 75: Chapter 72

First, Ace searched for the Emperor Ethan in vain, and had no choice but to return to the Whitebeard Pirates.

After fighting with a certain pirate group, Marshall D. Teach actually killed Captain Thatch of the Fourth Division for a devil fruit!

After escaping from the Whitebeard Pirates, he actually called himself "Blackbeard," which was undoubtedly a provocation to Whitebeard's authority.

The only rule of the Whitebeard Pirates is that it is not allowed to kill companions, and Teach's actions broke that rule in every way.

After learning about this, Ace ignored Whitebeard's objections and began to pursue Teach.

Now, the real question looms: in the chase between Ace and Teach, who is the hunter, and who is the prey?

Namur's death was unexpected. The moment he felt the life card burning, he knew something was wrong, but it was too late...

Does Jinbei, who was traveling with Namur, know that he contributed to the events leading to Namur's death? It seems that I must question him about this.

Fishman Island, Coral Hill.

The night was enchanting, but the mermaids' playful whispers made it even more alluring.

Ethan and Shirahoshi returned to Shyarly's private manor, where Ishida, Sera, Melo, and other mermaids welcomed them warmly.

This emperor-like treatment was like a homecoming for Ethan, reminding him of the Sky Island Palace, where Nami, Robin, Perona, and other goddesses awaited him.

After a burst of laughter, everyone gathered in the manor's main hall, where the mermaids encouraged Shyarly to share more about mermaid life and secrets.

Relenting under their eager stares, Shyarly revealed more about mermaid customs.

Ethan listened with interest, lying against Shirahoshi, whose face showed disbelief, as if her whole view of life had been shaken.

They learned, for instance, that mermaids belong to the human range and are mammals that give birth to live young, so Ethan could, indeed, father children with these beautiful mermaids.

Offspring could be male or female humans or mermaids, though only mermen produce offspring who retain mermen characteristics.

They also discovered intriguing aspects of mermaid anatomy, particularly the unique nature of their tails…

Ultimately, all this learning pointed to one thing: Ethan could have children with the mermaids even before they reach thirty and their fish tails turn to legs.

At thirty, the mermaids can transform their tails into legs at will. Granny Kokoro has used this skill to assist others before.

Ethan, filled with all this new knowledge, had an intriguing thought—could humans become mermaids through devil fruits, bloodline factors, or other means?

But as a man of noble intentions, he quickly brushed away that wild notion.

After one last glance at the shocked, blushing Shirahoshi, he smiled and drifted off, lost in sweet dreams…

Early the next morning, Ethan felt a tickling sensation on his nose. He scrunched it, but the tickling grew stronger, and he slowly opened his eyes.

Before him was Melo's delicate fish tail and pretty face. Melo was full of mischief, teasing him this early in the morning!

Awakening to see the mermaids gathered around, Shirahoshi looked at him with expectancy, and Shyarly sat sipping tea nearby.

"Master Ethan, it will soon be time for His Majesty Neptune to address the people. It's time for breakfast~" Ishida's gentle voice brought Ethan fully awake.

Nodding, he bounced off the trampoline and landed at the dining table with a flourish.

Without a word from him, the mermaids surrounded him, serving delicious cakes and snacks.

Sera and Sora, being closest, snagged the seats on either side of him, casting triumphant glances at the others.

After enjoying breakfast, the mermaids dressed Ethan in a white dragon robe embroidered with golden fish motifs; his previous clothes had been ruined in an earlier battle.

Flying over to Shirahoshi, he spoke softly, "Shirahoshi, you stay here with the mermaids and enjoy their company. I'll be back soon."

"Yes, my husband!" Blushing furiously, she felt self-conscious about calling him that in front of the others.

Sure enough, the mermaids exchanged amused glances (or so Shirahoshi thought). Woo~ I really want to go hide under the covers again!

Without probing her thoughts, Ethan gave her a gentle kiss on her forehead, then moved to Shyarly, who was awaiting him.

"Lady Shyarly, as a great prophet, you're to tell the people of Fishman Island about their future," he said, extending his hand to welcome her.

With a soft hum, Shyarly took his arm, and together, they left the manor. A flying carpet appeared, carrying them to Gyoverly Hill Square.

At the same time, Ethan activated his Observation Haki, scanning Fishman Island.

Jinbei and the Sun Pirates had not left and were waiting in the square. He made the right choice staying.

Though, oddly, Jinbei was armed with a sword—something he rarely wielded among the pirates…

After a night of hard work, Jinbei and the Sun Pirates had wiped out all the intruding pirates on Fishman Island.

As they flew, Ethan stroked Shyarly's shark tail, thinking of the mermaids' warm affections.

Such love and kindness that transcends race and form is truly irresistible.
